The Israeli Cabinet approved emergency regulations on Friday to temporarily shut down the Al Jazeera news network’s operations in the country. The measures will enable authorities to order television providers to stop broadcasting the outlet; close its offices in Israel; seize its equipment; shut down its website; and revoke press credentials for staff. “Israel is at war. On land, in the air, at sea, and in the mind. We will in no way allow broadcasts that harm the security of the state,” said Israeli Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi, who initiated the move. “Al Jazeera’s broadcasts and reports constitute incitement against...

Why can't the Pentagon get weapons firms to ramp up production? A new report shows the military doesn't track who owns its contractors, and has just two people looking at mergers in the defense base One of the more important side stories to the recent wars in Ukraine and Israel, and competition with China over Taiwan, is that the U.S. defense industrial base, composed of 200k plus corporations, is being forced to actually build weapons again. Defense is big business, and since the end of the Cold War, the government has allowed Wall Street to determine who owns, builds, and...

Why is defending the Gospels important? Christianity hinges on the resurrection of Jesus. If Jesus didn’t resurrect, then Christianity is false. So any claim that the Gospel writers lied, is a claim that they lied about Jesus’ resurrection, and therefore Christianity is false. Most importantly, if things didn’t happen the way the Gospel writers said they did, then Jesus did not fulfill Old Testament prophecies. If He didn’t fulfill the prophecies, He’s not the Messiah. Here are six ways we can know the Gospel writers didn't lie. 1. The Gospels contain details that embarrass the writersIf you were going to make...

Yesterday I was listening to Wayne Allyn Root's AM-radio show where he's based locally here in Vegas. He presented an interesting point. How many Democrats would be willing to go on-the-record and vote against Byron Donalds, who could be the first black in history to become Speaker Of The House? It presents an interesting dilemma for the party that relies on blacks as one of their largest voting blocs.

Recent proposed solutions for healthcare are what systems thinkers call fixes that fail or backfire. They are like a doctor giving opioids to a cancer patient. Painkillers mask the symptoms but never get at the root cause of illness: the malignancy that is making health care unaffordable and unavailable.Following are some recently touted healthcare fixes followed by why they won’t work. Implementation of artificial intelligence (AI)o AI cannot replace human clinicians, who are in very short supply California passes $25/hour for healthcare workers o Safety-net hospitals say they will close because they cannot afford $25/hour Expanding care for homeless, called...

After more than 40 years of studying humans and other primates, Stanford neurobiologist Robert Sapolsky has reached the conclusion that virtually all human behavior is as far beyond our conscious control as the division of cells or the beating of our hearts. (Of course, he had to.) Therefore, we mustn’t harshly judge such heretofore disdained folks as drunk drivers, serial criminals, Hamas terrorists, and those who bring 29 items to the “8 items or less” checkout lane. Sapolsky said: “The world is really screwed up and made much, much more unfair by the fact that we reward people and punish...

University investigation found no cause for disciplinary action A black University of Dallas student’s viral video claiming a white professor “harassed” her for listening to a recorded lecture too loudly outside her office is unfounded, a campus spokeswoman said Tuesday. Clare Venegas, vice president of marketing and communications, told The College Fix officials investigated the student’s claims against history Professor Susan Hanssen in the video, which has amassed more than 7 million views on TikTok in the past week. Administrators at the private Catholic university found no cause for disciplinary measures against the professor, who is well-known on campus as...

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then...

Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy announced this week that he opposes Israel’s invasion of Gaza and removal of Hamas, following a massacre by the terror group that left thousands of Israeli civilians killed and scores of Israelis and Americans still held hostage. “From a U.S. perspective, from an Israel perspective, how is this actually going to achieve a good result?” Ramaswamy told Tucker Carlson in an interview posted Wednesday night on X (formerly Twitter) of Israel’s operation against Hamas currently underway: And my concern right now, and as we’re having this conversation, it appears imminent that Israel is going to...

In his new book, Government Gangsters, Kash Patel learned that rhe agents of the Deep State operate through a series of networks, violating their oaths of office, weaponizing the law, and spreading disinformation for political or personal gain. Like most Americans, Kash Patel grew up believing that the country was run as a democracy, with a government that honors the will of the people and is accountable to them. It was only much later, as an attorney and then as a senior advisor to former president Donald Trump, that he encountered – and confronted – what has come to be...

Welcome to the United States of Woke. Where insane genre ideology must not only be tolerated but celebrated. Every day. Think that is an exaggeration? Think again. On Oct. 19, Twitchy favorite James Woods posted a full calendar of all of the gender cult celebrations that happen throughout the year and it is mind-boggling. Be sure to update your calendar. pic.twitter.com/ZiMc0qISY6 — James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) October 19, 2023 Wow. We all know this is happening, but to see it all listed like that in a full calendar is pretty scary nonetheless. If you expand on the complete image, the celebrations...

On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher urged students not to go to elite colleges because doing so “just makes you stupid” and that these elite schools are “a North Korean re-education camp” that are racist towards Asian applicants that don’t teach history and “if ignorance is a disease, Harvard Yard is the Wuhan wet market.”

The use of web tracking panel data provides new insights into Germans' online pornography use. According to new research published in Archives of Sexual Behavior, German Catholics, Protestants, and the religiously unaffiliated are as likely to use online pornography as each other. By comparison, members of minority religions in Germany, such as Muslims or Orthodox Christians, are less likely to use online pornography. "Prior studies have shown that religiosity can be a strong predictor of pornography usage," said Dr. Pascal Siegers of GESIS—Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences.
