Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media. The current heat wave is being relentlessly blamed on increasing levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, but there is a much more plausible explanation, one that is virtually endorsed by two of the world’s leading scientific organizations. It turns out that levels of water vapor in the atmosphere have dramatically increased over the last year and a half, and water vapor is well recognized as a greenhouse gas, whose heightened presence leads to higher temperatures, a mechanism that dwarfs any effect CO2 may have.So why has atmospheric water vapor increased so dramatically? Because of a historic, gigantic volcanic eruption...

New Jersey drivers will now stand alone as they sit in their cars while gas is pumped for them. That's because for the first time in 72 years, Oregon motorists will be able to grab a fuel nozzle and pump gas into their cars on their own, after a decades-old ban on self-serve gas stations was revoked. Gov. Tina Kotek signed a bill on Friday allowing people across the West Coast state to choose between having an attendant pump gas or doing it themselves. The law took effect immediately. So now the Garden State is the only state that prohibits...

The federal judge overseeing the classified documents case against former President Donald Trump delivered multiple blows to Special Counsel Jack Smith’s efforts in a brief Monday. Judge Aileen Cannon of the Southern District of Florida — who is presiding over the case that stems from a Miami grand jury’s June indictment of Trump — denied the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) request for sealed filings, striking two from the record. Cannon also requested additional information from prosecutors about the continued use of an out-of-state grand jury to investigate the case. “The Special Counsel states in conclusory terms that the supplement should...

Former Vice President Mike Pence has met the requirements to qualify for the first Republican presidential nomination debate, his campaign tells Fox News. Pence’s 2024 presidential campaign said on Monday that earlier in the day they crossed the 40,000-donor threshold — one of two criteria set by the Republican National Committee for GOP White House hopefuls to reach the debate stage. Pence had already passed the polling threshold mandated by the RNC. MANILA, Philippines (AP) — The Philippine government summoned China’s ambassador on Monday and presented a strongly worded diplomatic protest over the Chinese coast guard’s use of water cannons in a weekend confrontation with Philippine vessels in the disputed South China Sea, officials said. The tense hours-long standoff occurred Saturday near Second Thomas Shoal, which has been occupied for decades by Philippine forces stationed onboard a rusting, grounded navy ship but is also claimed by China. It was the latest flareup in long-seething territorial conflicts in the South China Sea involving China, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan and Brunei. The United...

After scoffing at the idea that they were going to try to ban your gas stoves, the Biden Department of Energy turned around and introduced new regulations that would effectively do just that. But they assured us at the time that this would be a big net benefit to everyone because of all of the money you would save by switching to an electric stove. So you would not only be saving the planet, but you would have more cash on hand to deal with the ongoing inflation that the White House’s policies are driving. (They never say that last...

Holy smokes, I love the cut of this girl’s jib!Since profiling her in February – and the atrocious way she’s been treated by the elitist cabal that runs the EU – Giorgia Meloni, Prime Minister of Italy has done nothing but move her country forward. Isn’t that delightful? In fact, there are a lot of things looking rosy about Italy that can’t be said for the powerhouses of the E.U. and they still treat Meloni as if she had shown up to their ball uninvited and in a tracksuit (That would be Zelensky’s uniform, but everyone in the EU has a...

Giacomo Chiapparini, 74, was buried when a shelf broke in his warehouse in the Lombardy region on Sunday, firefighter Antonion Dusi told AFP. The collapse created a domino effect bringing down thousands of wheels, which weigh about 40kg (84lbs) each. It took 12 hours to find Mr Chiapparini's body, Mr Dusi said. Some of the wheels reportedly fell about 10m (33ft) and a local resident told Italian media the collapse sounded "like thunder".
