VIDEOHere is a trip down mask mania memory lane from the not long ago days of Covid pandemic madness. Despite the fact that it was known early on in the pandemic that cloth masks don't work, that didn't stop the sheep herd from wearing those fresh air suppressers in great numbers and in absurd situations as you can see in this video accompanied by a PSA from the era. Even now you can still see many people clutching to their mask security blankets rebreathing their own recycled carbon dioxide under the laughable illusion that it is keeping them healthy.

It seems like just yesterday that the country was shaken to its core after Bubba Wallace discovered a rope attached to his NASCAR garage door and declared it to be a racist noose and the FBI immediately came out to investigate. Where were you when you learned of it? You'll never forget. The United States lost its innocence that day. And now, on this day — this fateful day — we have lost our innocence once again: OVER THE WEEKEND, the team radio channel for, Bubba Wallace, the only Black driver in NASCAR's top racing series, was apparently hijacked by...

If Biden were to be hit by lightning tomorrow while Kamala was eaten by wolves and Newsom was abducted by aliens with poor taste, the one person who absolutely would not become the Democrat nominee is Hillary. It doesn’t matter if Jeffrey Epstein passed down to her his entire library of the entire DNC molesting young boys, the party would still fall on a grenade to keep her from being the nominee. Still, a gal can dream. Former Secretary of State and First Lady Hillary Clinton said even though President Biden has a “good record” as president, “people still have...

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) signed red flag legislation into law Monday despite ongoing questions about whether it will enforced or, if enforced, how such enforcement would occur. The Associated Press reported, “Over half of the state’s counties have passed resolutions declaring themselves Second Amendment sanctuaries,” and through those resolutions have made clear there will be no enforcement of laws that infringe on Second Amendment rights. Additionally, a number of local sheriffs told the AP “that they won’t enforce the law if they don’t believe it’s constitutional.”

There are many pixels being spent to make it appear that Florida and Governor DeSantis are being unfair to Disney and, as a result, have lost an investment opportunity. Neither assertion is true. None of the claims by politicians will make them true. It's understandable that Democrats make these claims. It's neither understandable nor forgivable that Republicans like Pence, Haley, and Trump join in. To understand the situation, it's best to start at the beginning. In the 1960s Florida granted Disney local government control over 27,000 acres of land that straddles Orange and Osceola counties. The area was called the...

Jamoure was rushed to Richmond University Medical Center, where he was initially listed in critical condition and succumbed to his injuries Monday,...

Without unrestricted immigration, nations like the United States cannot survive unless women have about 2.1 children each (the .1 reflects women who do not have children). The bad news is that the U.S. is falling short in reproducing itself. Occasional exceptions such as the Baby Boom aside, U.S. fertility rates have dropped over the last two centuries and show no sign of rising to the 2.1 replacement level. We are currently at 1.6.The baby shortfall has huge consequences beyond potentially filling the nation with immigrants. An aging population brings higher healthcare costs, budgets devoured by pensions, shrinking tax bases, labor...

Remember when former Fed Chair and current Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said that inflation was transitory? As usual, Yellen was wrong. Look at April’s new home sales. Up 4.1% since March even through M2 Money growth has collapsed. The Taylor Rule, based on Core CPI of 5.25% (persistent, not transitory inflation Janet) suggest a Fed target rate of 11.78%. The Fed is at 5.25% and likely to pause rate hikes and maybe even lower rates again.
