So they ordered them to stand outside while the Sanhedrin had a private discussion. ‘What are we going to...

HELSINKI (Reuters) - Finland's much-delayed Olkiluoto 3 (OL3) nuclear reactor, Europe's largest, will begin regular output on Sunday, its operator said on Saturday, boosting energy security in a region to which Russia has cut gas and power supplies. Nuclear power remains controversial in Europe, primarily due to safety concerns, and news of OL3's start-up comes as Germany on Saturday switches off its last three remaining reactors, while Sweden, France, Britain and others plan new developments. OL3's operator Teollisuuden Voima (TVO), which is owned by Finnish utility Fortum and a consortium of energy and industrial companies, has said the unit is...

Newsweek left one out — Yuengling – for a reason. They backed Donald Trump in 2016.

The testimony of James Jesus Angleton during the Church Committee hearings in 1975 in the recently released tranche of records also gives some insight into why the C.I.A. needed a rapid change in Administration in 1963.

“Quasimodogeniti: Like Newborn Infants” (1 Peter 1:3-9; 2:2-3) Today is the Second Sunday in the Easter season, which means it’s the first Sunday after Easter itself. Like many of the Sundays in the church year, this one has an old and traditional title. The name of this Sunday, in Latin, is Quasimodogeniti. Sounds like the character Quasimodo in “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” doesn’t it? That’s because Quasimodo was named after the day he was adopted as a baby, Quasimodogeniti. The word, Quasimodogeniti, is actually several words strung together: Quasi, meaning, “like” or “as”; modo, meaning, “just now”; and geniti,...

Beijing (AFP) – Brazil's president said Saturday that the United States should stop "encouraging war" in Ukraine, as he wrapped a state visit to China in which he has strengthened economic ties with his country's main trading partner. Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva used his trip to push the message that "Brazil is back" as a key player on the global stage -- and to warn that the South American country's deepening relations with China were non-negotiable. Lula was headed on Saturday to the United Arab Emirates for a one-day official visit, and will meet his counterpart Sheikh Mohamed bin...

There is no need to fear Joe Biden hating Britain because nobody really cares about the US presidency any more. It’s an uncomfortable truth to face but the commander-in-chief has become an international laughing stock, diminishing the status of the White House on the world stage. If it wasn’t bad enough that he has spent the past four days mumbling and bumbling through a completely self-serving tour of Ireland, under Sleepy Joe’s watch a new world order appears to be busily capitalising on his ineptitude. We have now got Saudi Arabia striking deals with the Iranians and Chinese, while Emmanuel Macron, the...

President Joe Biden decreed on Sept. 9, 2021, that more than 100 million Americans must get COVID-vaccine injections. But newly disclosed emails show that the Food and Drug Administration finding behind that order, official certification of the jabs as “safe and effective,” was the result of a bureaucratic bait-and-switch.The FDA had approved COVID vaccines on an emergency-use basis in December 2020, before Biden even took office. The White House assumed that was the silver bullet to enable Biden to save Americans from COVID.But it soon became clear that many Americans were hesitating to get jabbed, in part because the FDA...

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) neuroscientists discovered a method for reversing symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease by interfering with a hyperactive enzyme present in the brains of Alzheimer’s patients. The MIT researchers treated mice with a peptide designed to block CDK5, an enzyme that is typically hyperactive in patients with various neurodegenerative diseases, and observed significant reductions in neurodegeneration, the study says. Mice were better at performing tasks and showed reduced DNA damage in the brain. “We found that the effect of this peptide is just remarkable,” said Li-Huei Tsai, director of MIT’s Picower Institute for Learning and Memory and the...

Suncorp Group announced last month that workers would have the opportunity to get paid leave to pursue gender transitions. The company, which is involved in insurance and banking in Australia and New Zealand, is offering six weeks of paid leave and 12 months of unpaid leave for people to "affirm their gender," an Orwellian phrase that actually entails the exact opposite of affirming an individual's immutable biological sex. Suncorp notes that the transition process can include actions ranging from hormones, surgery, and recovery, to simply informing others about the gender switch and changing clothing style and pronouns. "Six weeks' paid...

VIDEOAlmost every damn time a few January 6 videos are released we find yet more evidence that it was a Fedsurrection. In this case, a couple of recent video releases reveal an obvious Fedsurrectionist tearing away a gate section outside the Capitol as well as video of Capitol Police standing down, despite being berated by a MAGA patriot for doing nothing, as the Fedsurrectionists cause damage at the Capitol. Why do we still need to rely only on these few videos for evidence when there are at least 40,000 hours of J6 video which House Speaker Kevin McCarthy promised would...

A judge ruled in favor of environmentalists to halt a mine in Nevada, adopting a stricter interpretation of mining laws first implemented by a federal appeals court last year, the Associated Press (AP) reported Wednesday. The U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals found last year that the U.S. Forest Service had improperly granted Rosemont Copper Company access to forest land for dumping waste, since there was no evidence the land contained valuable minerals, and thus had been improperly granted to Rosemont for the purposes of establishing a mine, Reuters reported. Following this reasoning, Judge Larry Hicks of the U.S. District...

If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, and looks like a duck, it’s a squirrel. That seems to be the logic Democrats have when it comes to their own corruption. A man can literally be caught red-handed stealing luggage from a woman at an airport, wear her clothes around in full view of the public, and lose his federal job as a result of it, but if he’s a Democrat then he need not worry. His felony will be reduced to a mere misdemeanor. As Bonchie reported earlier, this is exactly what happened to “non-binary” former Assistant...

Shortly before Republicans took control of the House in January, GOP leaders vowed to open a number of investigations into President Joe Biden and his administration regarding their conduct over the last two years. Now, 100 days into their reign, Republicans have opened a flurry of inquiries and have held several hearings featuring testimony and evidence as they push ahead with their agenda. Top Republicans such as House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) long expressed their intent to investigate Biden's White House on a variety of fronts, ranging from the southern border to Hunter Biden’s...

SEATTLE -- Prosecutors in Washington state charged former NBA star Shawn Kemp on Friday with first-degree assault in a parking lot shooting last month over a stolen cellphone, saying that a text message Kemp sent just before the shooting showed his intent to confront and shoot the person who had allegedly stolen from him. Kemp was arrested after the shooting outside the Tacoma Mall on March 8. No one was injured, and Kemp's lawyers have insisted he returned fire in self defense after tracking and trying to retrieve a cellphone that had been stolen from him earlier that day. A...

Before speaking recently at an event at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, DC, a pastor approached me and said that we had met 20 years ago when I spoke at a particular church in Virginia. Then he said, “You warned us back then about all the stuff that would be coming with gay activism and how everyone thought you were crazy. And now,” he added, “it has all happened.”

A church in North Carolina has again unburdened thousands of families who were struggling with medical debt, setting their obligations ablaze. Trinity Moravian Church in Winston-Salem bought up and canceled nearly $3.3 million in medical debt belonging to 3,355 families. According to the Dispatch, this is the second year that members of the church have taken part in the Debt Jubilee Project, which assumes past-due medical bills of residents in the area. Through the project, congregants previously purchased $1.65 million of debt, liberating 1,356 people in Forsyth and Davidson Counties. When an individual fails to pay down an outstanding medical...
