Trump rejects shielding Biden records from Senate probes in executive privilege showdown

EXCLUSIVE: President Donald Trump rejected former President Joe Biden’s assertion of executive privilege over a tranche of documents requested by the Senate as part of various probes into the 46th president, determining it is "not in the best interests of the United States."

White House counsel David Warrington wrote Monday in a letter addressed to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and obtained by Fox News Digital that Trump "does not uphold the former President’s assertion of privilege" over records sought in four congressional probes. The letter directs NARA to provide the materials to Congress.

The dispute centers on documents related to investigations into Biden’s health, alleged politically motivated probes into Trump and his allies, and the Biden family’s financial dealings, which Republicans argue go to the heart of Congress’ constitutional authority to conduct oversight.

Joe Biden was the 1st U.S. president in history to deny executive privilege claims sought by his predecessor (Trump) to prevent the production of presidential/personal records to Congress. Those files were then quickly handed over to Select J6 committee and other agencies including NARA.

President Trump just returned the favor. Karma is a bitch.

I’m assuming that Judge Tanya Chutkan will soon issue an order stating Trump can’t do that.

(Judge Tanya S. Chutkan of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia ruled in November 2021 that President Trump could not successfully assert executive privilege to block the release of White House documents to the House committee investigating the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot.)

(Waits patiently for the MSM to decry this as a dangerous precedent, and lie that it has never happened before).

Yep. Stage 4. I wonder what drugs the doctors are giving him that other cancer patients aren’t getting?

Or, he doesn’t have cancer and it was a ruse to cover up for his dementia.

The second option is more likely.

Dems love double standards. In one interview they asked Adam Schiff if the President had the Constitutional authority to use military force because he could reasonably determine that it was in the national interest. Schiff, thinking the President was Trump, said the justification was “totally vague.” Then they revealed they were talking about Obama.

Oil Cancer, from growing up near refineries. On the plus side his bones don't creak.

There are only a few viable choices when your prostate cancer metastasizes into bones and surrounding tissue. Since it was diagnosed at Stage 4, it’s entirely possible he has brain cancer as well, since that’s an organ commonly attacked by the cancer cells.

SBRT Radiation and ADT Hormone therapy are the standard of care, with additional treatments and chemotherapy to slow growth and reduce symptoms.

The doctors are making old Joe “comfortable” right now, but he won’t come near Jimmy Carter’s exit age.
