SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Amid the controversy surrounding the attack on women's rights activist and NCAA swimming champion Riley Gaines, a new report indicated a burly male trans activist shouted "I'm a victim!" as he punched a woman squarely in the face."You people don't get it!" shouted the muscular, blue-haired man as he repeatedly struck the tiny woman in the jaw. "Trans people have the right to expose their genitalia in locker rooms to anyone they want! Stop threatening us and being violent!"

On Easter Sunday, thousands of San Franciscans flocked to Dolores Park to worship a very different type of Jesus. The Foxy Mary and Hunky Jesus contests are organized by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a non-profit composed of queer and trans nuns that celebrated their 44th anniversary this weekend. As the name suggests, the day-long event showcases the body of Christ, with a series of drag shows, plenty of crass religious puns and a costume contest featuring roughly 100 participants.

An anonymous letter has made waves in Nicaragua, after it accused the country’s cardinal of being too close to the country’s dictator, President Daniel Ortega. While persecution against the Church in Nicaragua continues unabated, a debate has cropped up among clergy in the country about the controversial, anonymous letter, reportedly written by seminarians, which accuses Managua Cardinal Leopoldo Brenes of fostering a culture of silence in the country’s seminary about ongoing religious persecution. The letter, published March 28 by Spanish Catholic outlet Religión Digital and reportedly written by three current and former seminarians, also claimed that the Nicaraguan dictatorship has...

Distributors for Anheuser-Busch products, the company that owns Bud Light, have reported dwindling sales over the weekend, according to a report from trade publication Beer Business Daily. It comes as a video of a man claiming to be a merchandiser for an A-B affiliate went viral on Twitter as he lamented poor sales and the impact on his livelihood. 'I've never seen such little sales as in the past few days,'...

Rutgers students walked into empty classrooms Monday morning as their professors demonstrated outside in what is the first teaching strike in the university's history. Picket lines were set up across Rutgers’ three campuses in New Brunswick, Newark and Camden as hundreds of professors, adjunct faculty members and graduate workers — joined by alumni and undergraduate students — held signs demanding better wages. Three faculty unions representing 9,000 members announced their plan to strike Sunday night after nearly a year of contract negotiations with university officials. The unions — which are demanding job security for part-time lecturers and better pay for...

Jason Rantz of Seattle’s KTTH explained Sunday that the “excess compensation tax” comes from SB 5767, “Funding health care access by imposing an excise tax on the annual compensation paid to certain highly compensated hospital employees,” which was introduced last Tuesday and referred to the Ways & Means committee. Rantz noted that “Democrats hope to tax specific job salaries at the behest of healthcare workers’ unions. But you’d be naïve to think they’ll stop there.” Of course they won’t stop there. This bill is one of the most open acknowledgments yet that Leftists are pursuing an avowedly socialist agenda, in...

Biden on Monday signed a Republican-authored bill terminating the national emergency over the COVID-19 pandemic, a day before the White House had said the president would unilaterally end national emergency declarations related to the pandemic. The White House had opposed the GOP-proposed measure, which gained some bipartisan support in Congress, even though the White House planned to end emergency declarations on May 11. The White House had said the legislation would "create wide-ranging chaos and uncertainty throughout the health care system — for states, for hospitals and doctors' offices, and, most importantly, for tens of millions of Americans." End of...

Taking inspiration from the groundbreaking vaccines used during the COVID-19 pandemic, researchers at UCLA are exploring a new method to treat peanut allergies. Scientists at the university have developed a “nanoparticle” that delivers mRNA to liver cells in an attempt to “teach” the immune system to tolerate the protein found in peanuts that is responsible for causing allergic reactions in 1 out of every 50 children. The technology has already been used in mice with success in reducing the seriousness of an allergic reaction, researchers said. The treatment also appeared to stop peanut allergies from developing. The mRNA treatment, while...

We recently learned a lesson which was more than three decades in the making. The lesson partially stems from two seemingly unrelated events. The world noted the one-year anniversary of the war in Ukraine at the end of February. And after an air incursion by a spy balloon, saber-rattling over Taiwan and TikTok dance videos blowing up everyone’s phone, the U.S. Congress suddenly grew more serious about China. This culminated in a prime-time House hearing over the winter studying the threat posed by Beijing by a special House committee designed just to study problems between the U.S. and China. The...

The housing environment is so unaffordable that certain banks lost money for each mortgage they financed last year — the first time that's ever happened, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association. In 2022, independent mortgage banks and mortgage subsidiaries of chartered banks banks lost an average $301 for every mortgage they financed, the MBA said in a recent report. That represents a 113% decrease from last year's average income of $2,339 per mortgage, and is the first time that banks posted negative profits for financing home loans since the MBA began recording profits in 2008. That's largely due to the...

MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace said Monday on her show “Deadline” that not one Republican is doing a “single @@@@@@@ thing to protect democracy” while discussing Tennessee state lawmakers expelling two members from their House seats. Wallace said, “This is a Republican problem. The Democrats haven’t done anything wrong other than maybe not fighting like Republicans. The corruption of the party that you and I were a part of is also a story that gets short-shifted. We sanitize that too. It’s corrupt from the top to the bottom, from east to west. Not one Republican condemned the Tennessee Republican majority for...

White House spokesman John Kirby urged reporters Monday to play down leaks of classified records pertaining to Ukraine, Israel, South Korea and other countries... Kirby said at the White House briefing that some of the documents, which indicate US surveillance of close allies, are “doctored” — without specifying which ones. He also claimed others might contain real but sensitive information unsuitable for publication on the “front pages of newspapers or on television.” The documents also mention Zelensky’s interest in launching military attacks inside Russia, which the documents said could be used by China as a pretext to arm Moscow. In...

If you thought getting completely naked and covering yourself in grease would help you evade the police after you broke into two homes, think again. One drugged-up (allegedly) Florida Man learned that the hard way early Friday morning. In a three-minute video that’ll get your juices flowing and have you reaching for the popcorn, a Florida man identified as Blake Tokman is seen sprinting through a backyard completely naked before launching himself into a pool and then onto a trampoline as police chase after him. Blake’s head is bloodied — as you’ll see — but his will isn’t as easily...

President Joe Biden told “TODAY” show co-host Al Roker on Monday that he plans to run for a second term. “I plan on running, Al, but we’re not prepared to announce it yet,” he said. A 78-year-old woman with two past bank robbery convictions was arrested again for a third heist in Missouri, police said. Bonnie Gooch walked into Goppert Financial Bank and allegedly handed a note to the teller demanding thousands in cash. She also left a note saying "Thank you sorry I didn't mean to scare you", before driving off with the cash. Gooch now sits in jail with a bond amount of $25,000 (£20,129). Wearing a black N95 mask, black sunglasses and plastic gloves, she entered the bank on 5 April and slipped the teller a note that said, "I need...
