People have inhabited the Andes mountains of South America for more than 9,000 years, adapting to the scarce oxygen available at high altitudes, along with cold temperatures and intense ultraviolet radiation. A new genomic study published in the journal iScience suggests that Indigenous populations in present-day Ecuador also adapted to the tuberculosis bacterium, thousands of years before the arrival of Europeans..."We found that selection for genes involved in TB-response pathways started to uptick a little over 3,000 years ago," says Sophie Joseph, first author of the paper. "That's an interesting time because it was when agriculture began proliferating in the...

Dr. Peter McCullough was one of the most outspoken and bravest leaders during the pandemic – today he is continuing his work to keep Americans healthy and safe in this new post-pandemic era of spike protein. Dr. McCullough wasn’t afraid to stand up to big pharma, big tech and big government during the pandemic, and he is showing that same courage today. “This spike protein is a killer, and it rips through the hearts of men and women,” said Dr. McCullough in a new video where he calls the response of the FDA and the CDC to the dangers of...

ABOARD COTAM UNITÉ (FRANCE’S AIR FORCE ONE) — Europe must reduce its dependency on the United States and avoid getting dragged into a confrontation between China and the U.S. over Taiwan, French President Emmanuel Macron said in an interview on his plane back from a three-day state visit to China. Speaking with POLITICO and two French journalists after spending around six hours with Chinese President Xi Jinping during his trip, Macron emphasized his pet theory of “strategic autonomy” for Europe, presumably led by France, to become a “third superpower.” He said “the great risk” Europe faces is that it “gets...

VIDEOIt's really all about MOCKING women. That is the purpose of the Bud Light spokesman/woman/whatever Dylan Mulvaney. Just another way for the nihilistic left to tear down western society by also tearing down gender distinctions by mocking them. And now that Nike has chosen this weirdo to be their "brand ambassador" they are also complicit. Here are a few reactions to Nike MOCKING the same women they hope to sell products to. Good luck with that.

[Catholic Caucus] "It is not the traditionalists, but Roche who ignores the Council": Luisella Scrosati'sThe prefect of the Dicastery for Divine Worship, Cardinal Arthur Roche, just cannot seem to show that he has at least some familiarity with the role he has been wretchedly entrusted with. Or rather, to give the appearance of it he should systematically keep quiet. But, how does one do that? A Dicastery prefect sooner or later has to say something if someone asks him questions....The fact is that it took less than thirty seconds (here from minute 10:37) of response to a BBC.com report on...

A scrap of fabric found in a Highland peat bog 40 years ago is likely to be the oldest tartan ever discovered in Scotland...It was found in a Glen Affric peat bog, in the Highlands, in the early 1980s...Using high resolution digital microscopy, four initial colours of green, brown and possibly red and yellow were identified. The dye analysis confirmed the use of indigo or woad in the green but was inconclusive for the other colours, probably due to the dyestuff having degraded. No artificial or semi-synthetic dyestuffs were involved in the making of the tartan, leading researchers to believe it predates...

President Gerald Ford believed he did the right thing when in 1974 he pardoned his predecessor, Richard Nixon, of any criminality connected to the cover-up of the Watergate scandal that had forced Nixon to be the first (and to date, only) president to resign from office. Like many Americans at the time, I was furious at Ford for preempting what surely would have been an indictment for obstruction of justice and related crimes, and I was convinced there had been some secret deal to let Nixon get away with crimes that sent others in his administration to prison. Nixon should...

The leaked U.S. Pentagon documents paint a grim picture of Ukraine's air defense outlook, predicting that the country could run out of key assets before the end of May. Ukraine's S-300 air defense systems could run out of ammunition by as early as May 2, while the country's other air defenses could be depleted by May 23, the documents warn. The documents, dated to late February, state that systems like the S-300 make up some 89% of Ukraine's air defense capability. Should Ukraine lose its ability to threaten Russian aircraft encroaching on its territory, the conflict could quickly turn. Currently,...

cautions premier may no longer be thinking rationally. Former military intelligence chief Maj. Gen. (res.) Tamir Hayman says he no longer trusts Benjamin Netanyahu's judgement on matters of security after the prime minister's attempt to fire Yoav Gallant as defense minister, and that some of the damage to Israel's economy and social cohesion, and its ties with the US, inflicted by the government's currently suspended push to overhaul the judiciary may be irreversible.
