The relentless political persecution of President Donald Trump has reached a zenith in this past week’s arraignment for the leader of the America First movement. As reported by RSBN, a clownish 34 felony counts related to “falsifying” business records were brought against the president by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg on Tuesday. Notably, these alleged crimes would have supposedly taken place when Trump was serving his first term as president of the United States. The fever pitch of hatred from the radical left establishment and entrenched Deep State corruption throughout our federal agencies has reached an all-time high. “They’re not coming...

At an Apr. 4 event hosted by the National Association of Scholars (NAS), Heather Mac Donald and Patanjali Kambhampati describe a new normal in the sciences. Objectivity, they suggest, has been replaced with a hyper-fixation on identity. Mac Donald and Kambhampati are participants in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) debate on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). As they prepared to answer the proposition “Should Academic DEI Programs be Abolished?” (spoiler: they say “yes”), they sat down with the NAS’ Scott Turner to argue that DEI initiatives harm academic freedom, stall progress, and insult the historical figures who introduced some...

Practically all the governments whose origins are historically established were the result of conquest—of one tribe by another, one city by another, one people by another. Sooner or later, governments augmented their power of its sword with the power of its religion, forging an iron union of throne and altar. In olden times, not uncommonly, the rulers were themselves declared to be gods. Government were seen as protectors of the populace from external attackers and from internal disorder, both of which are portrayed as ever-present threats. This at times involved blaming some element of the population—scapegoats such as traders, money...

The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) has captured an amazing image of Uranus, showing in great detail the ice giant's ring system, its brightest moons and its dynamic atmosphere. The new observation, made on Feb. 6, follows a similarly stunning photo JWST captured recently of the solar system's other ice giant, Neptune. The new Uranus image shows 11 of the planet's 13 known rings, some of which are so bright that they blend together somewhat. What will really astound astronomers, however, is the fact that JWST's Near Infrared Camera (NIRCam) instrument is sensitive enough to have captured the innermost two...

Yukon paleontologists have this week unveiled another unusual find from the goldfields near Dawson City: a mummified Arctic ground squirrel from the Ice Age, curled up in a ball as though it died while hibernating. It was found a few years ago, but it's being shown off now because the government is preparing the dead rodent for display at the Yukon Beringia Interpretive Centre in Whitehorse, expected to reopen later this spring after a redesign. The animal was actually found in 2018, by a placer miner working at Hester Creek near Dawson City, Yukon. Miners are routinely finding Ice Age...

President Joe Biden vetoed a bipartisan bill Thursday that would limit his administration’s broad interpretation of the “waters of the United States” (WOTUS) rule that grants the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) significant new authority. The president rejected the bill, arguing that his administration’s new rule provides “clear rules of the road” to protect both economic efforts and water quality under the Clean Water Act, according to the veto. The rule dramatically expands the traditional limits of WOTUS — which allow the EPA to regulate navigable waters — to include all territorial seas, interstate waters, adjacent wetlands, traditional waters’ tributaries and...

It was just a couple of days ago when Dr. Jill Biden stuck her foot in her mouth and said she wanted Caitlin Clark and Iowa to join NCAA women’s basketball champions LSU at the White House. LSU’s Angel Reese is no fan of the first lady, saying “We’ll go to the Obamas.” In was in that same interview that Biden marveled at how far women’s sports had come after the hard-fought battle for Title IX. "It was such a great game. I'm old enough that I remember when we got Title IX. We fought so hard, right? We fought...

A Colorado teen who was arrested last month for allegedly planning to commit a mass shooting at her former middle school owned a copy of “The Communist Manifesto” — and blasted former President Donald Trump as a “con man” in her own writings, authorities said. Lilly Whitworth, 19, wrote a detailed manifesto and possessed floor plans of her intended target before she was busted on March 31 for making threats to various schools, including Timberview Middle School, which she once attended, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by news station KRDO. She also owned a copy of “The Communist Manifesto”...

President Biden on Friday said Republicans in Congress are threatening to hurt the U.S. economy, while hailing the March jobs report that showed the U.S. economy added 236,000 jobs. “Extreme MAGA Republicans in Congress, on the other hand, are threatening to wreak havoc on our economy with debt limit brinkmanship,” Biden said in a statement. He argued that Republicans’ “extreme agenda would send the unprecedented investments we’ve made here in America – along with the jobs that come with it – overseas. And it’s all to pay for even more giveaways to the wealthiest Americans and largest corporations.” The unemployment...

VIDEOThe trans Bud Light commercial is so over-the-top counterproductive that the only plausible explanation for it is that a rival beer company sent them a Trojan Horse marketing director to drive down their sales.

Internal affairs investigators are looking into a report that the official Twitter account for the Chicago Police Department liked an anti-trans post by a county music singer. A spokeswoman for the department confirmed Thursday that a complaint was being investigated by the department’s Bureau of Internal Affairs. A photo on social media that circulated earlier in the day showed the department account had liked a post on Wednesday by musician Travis Tritt, who tweeted that he would be removing Anheuser-Busch products from the hospitality contracts on his tours, saying “I know many other artists who are doing the same.” ...

Some schools ban trans-identifying students from playing on the team of their preferred gender. The Biden administration proposed new regulations on Thursday that would prohibit schools enforcing blanket bans on trans-identifying males in girls sports. The education department’s Title IX rules state that schools that receive federal funding may not ban biological males in girls sports wholesale, but they may exclude them on a case by case basis. “The proposed rule … recognizes that in some instances, particularly in competitive high school and college athletic environments, some schools may adopt policies that limit transgender students’ participation,” the education department said....

(Daily readings from the USCCB)Then he handed him over to them to be crucified. So they took Jesus, and, carrying the cross himself, he went out to what is called the Place of the Skull, in Hebrew, Golgotha. There they crucified him, and with him two others, one on either side, with Jesus in the middle. John 19:16–18The Passion of our Lord begins. Our Gospel narrative today begins with Jesus going out to a garden with His disciples after the celebration of the Passover meal. It’s shocking to consider that the Second Person of the Most Holy Trinity permitted such...
