New York City Mayor Eric Adams backtracked on Thursday, denying that his administration would be "reassessing" the right to shelter for asylum seekers amid an influx of 11,000 migrants since May. On Wednesday, Adams told reporters that New York City’s shelter system was at its "breaking point," adding that the "city’s prior practices, which never contemplated the busing of thousands of people into New York City, must be reassessed." The remark sparked reports suggesting he was considering the 1981 "right to shelter" agreement guaranteeing anyone without a place to sleep a bed in New York City.

Twenty-one year incumbent Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) said Alaskan voters should not question the FBI’s decision to raid former President Trump’s private residence at Mar-a-Lago. Speaking on the With All Due Respect podcast with Andrew Halcro, Murkowski said, “We are branding our law enforcement to the point where — are we trusting our law enforcement?” she rhetorically asked about the FBI’s raid. “Are we trusting those who are there to protect our citizenry?" Murkowski failed to acknowledge a former president has never been raided by his political opponent in American history. Instead, she blamed many Republicans for condemning the FBI’s...

Speaking on the With All Due Respect podcast with Andrew Halcro, Murkowski made it clear she will work with the Biden administration in the next two years if she is able to defeat challenger and Trump-endorsed Kelly Tshibaka. I’m working with them to advance things,” she said in reference to Biden’s massive federal spending packages, including the Biden administration’s inflation-fueling infrastructure bill. Experts believe Biden’s massive spending has fueled 40-year-high inflation,...

Seahawks safety Jamal Adams‘ season is over after one game. Adams will have season-ending surgery to repair his torn quad tendon, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. During Monday night’s game over the Broncos, Adams went down awkwardly while pressuring Russell Wilson, then limped to the sideline and was carted to the locker room. It was apparent immediately that he had suffered a significant injury. It’s the latest setback for Adams, who arrived in Seattle in a massive trade that included two first-round draft picks, and who signed a big contract extension with the Seahawks. All New Mexico residents should challenge their property tax appraisals as soon a possible because I am sure I am not the only one: I am the executrix of my Father's estate in Chaparral, New Mexico. My Father was a WWII and Korean War Veteran. It is a very long story, but the bottom line is that I found a US Army Veteran buyer for the real estate who offered to pay the official New Mexico appraisal value of $83,000 and change --- both of us "aware" that the real value would be higher than his bid. I discussed it...

Thousands of US government officials have unlimited access to as many as 10,000 devices which are seized from travelers moving across the country. Electronic devices such as cellphones, iPads and laptops taken from those going through airports, seaports and border crossings are being mined for data. The leader of the Customs and Border Protection told congressional staff that the massive database can be accessed by 2,700 CBP officers without a warrant. During a briefing, which took place in the summer, officials also said that the data is maintained for 15 years. It has raised alarms in Congress about what the...

The Tesla is a revolutionary and savvy vehicle created by Elon Musk. Its features are fascinating, and it has a solid range for battery-driven cars. The body of the vehicle isn’t heinously designed either. I still prefer good old-fashioned electric cars. Also, overall electric cars aren’t all that green. Electronic waste is an underreported issue, and what do you think creates the energy at the recharging stations? It’s not wizards—it’s fossil fuels, specifically coal. It’s one of the luxury items coveted by liberal America. California will ban the sale of gas-powered cars by 2035, though they’re also telling their residents...
