Cardinals bore a special co-responsibility for the overall governance of the Church.

STUART, Florida -- He's no Tom Cruise, but Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is definitely a "Maverick" in his latest campaign commercial which portrays the Republican as a "Top Gun" fighter pilot engaging in battle with deceptive national news media."Good morning ladies and gentlemen, this is your governor speaking," DeSantis begins, likening himself to Cruise's character Capt. Pete "Maverick" Mitchell in the popular summer film."Today's training evolution: dogfighting. Taking on the corporate media." Much of today's 'science' DeSantis commenced his lesson: "The rules of engagement are as follows: Number one, don't fire unless fired upon, but when they fire, you fire...

It's no mistake that Biden is coming out with his student loan cancelation plan at this time- just before midterms. It's a baldly obvious effort to cement the whiny socialist mooch vote that he already had but it comes at a great cost to everyone who either paid for their own educations or didn't go to college. President Biden caused an uproar Wednesday by announcing that his administration will forgive billions of dollars in federal student loan debt, potentially wiping the financial slate clean for 20 million Americans — despite Republicans and experts warning the bailout would worsen America’s tenuous...

(CNN)The US Supreme Court decision wiping out federal abortion rights was only a few hours old when, in Washington, a group of Democratic lawmakers stood on the steps of the US Capitol singing "God Bless America." In upstate New York, though, Democrat Pat Ryan and his campaign team were scrambling to deliver a more potent reply, posting online an ad they had filmed shortly after the court's draft opinion had leaked weeks earlier. The appeal began like so many others, with a note on the Ulster County executive's personal history: two tours in Iraq fighting "for our families, for our...
