Short answer: NO!
Women earn majority of bachelors degrees, graduate degrees, advanced degrees etc etc.
Plus men do most of the dirty, dangerous jobs. 92 % of deaths from accidents at work are men. Only 8% of deaths at work happen to women.
Suicides? 78% are men.
Men are victims of violent crimes far more than woman, twice as likely.
78% of murder victims are men.
93% of federal prisoners are men. Even when men and women commit the same crime, with similar criminal history, women almost always get lower sentences.
Life expectancy?
Women live 5 years longer
Etc etc.

As may be, but 93% of the hookers out back of the chicken shack are women.
So there’s that.
Yet women are treated with a minority status.

Did you check them?
The Blood Donation asked my “my gender at birth”.
I said, Ask my Mom, I did not look.
But since I could look, my privilege has been OK every time I check.
Because women have the privilege of never needing to pay for sex.
It is a pretty green polka dot.

Yup, still there.
Why do the Czechs always take heat for this? You’d think the Czech was in the male or something.
But they do.
Male gigolos make lots of money from horny middle aged fat women.
But not because those women actually need to pay for sex. They could get plenty of sex for free from middle aged fat men. They just pay for the luxury of having sex with a hot young male gigolo.
Hi.
Long time ago in a state far far away there was this saloon.
It was called the Last Chance.
Anyway, all the males had to check their firearms. The females didn’t.
Blatant discrimination.

I was watching a britbox cop show. The girl cop, patterned after Mr Spock, was up for Inspector, and before the board. Many of the negatives thrown at her as coming from her co workers I judged might be positives in a commander of a crew. Based on the character I judged that I’d giver her the shot. She defended herself ably in her remarks…and then she puled about how tough it was for a woman and how easy for a man. By bitch crybaby. Even if all of that were true STFU. Never cry. You can tell no guy wrote that episode. And in the end she was no Mr Spock.

I always write in, "I honestly can't remember anything about that day."
whatever
I’m not so sure about that. You need check ‘em like Crocodile Dundee did.
What is, in actual fact (de facto), privilege? This word and concept is so battered and threadbare, it behooves us to return to its roots! At one time, privilege was a visible thing, while different by time and society.
In ancient far east, the upper classes (privileged) were identified by clothing, appearance (long fingernails unsuited for manual work), carrying weapons, cultured accents, etc. A low class would know almost from the first that they must be cautious to subservient at an encounter.
In the Hindu cultures, much the same was dictated by the heredity caste hierarchies. Again much was demonstrated by the same kind of indicators of clothing, language etc.
In the times of Ancient Rome, much was made of being ‘Civis Romanus Sum’ (I claim Roman citizenship) status. St Paul, by legitimately claiming this status (Acts of the Apostles), escaped from local jurisdiction to be sent to Rome for his acts. In the post-Rome world of Europe, there were other classes and marks of privilege such as feudal/chivalric/religious rankings. There were sumptuary laws governing clothing and where being literate gave you automatic assumption of religious orders.
In England even to today, idiomatic English is a great separator of classes. Speaking with a ‘posh’ BBC manner has been well demonstrated to be an enhancement. G B Shaw’s Pygmalion (basis for ‘My Fair Lady’) is a academic treatise on the gulf between Mayfair and Bow Street.
All of this above is to say & show that the HISTORIC concept of privilege has almost no resemblance to what is being flung to the walls today! You cannot go to school or church and find any ready mark of privilege like these examples from history or region. Even the mid-1900s use of Appalachian and Ozark ‘thick’ idioms have been much erased in the USofA by our homogenized media.
Thus, IMHO, these accusations of ‘xxxxx’ privilege is a chumps game using past history to visit the sins of then against present straw (wo)men. I accept it not and treat it like the presentation of the ‘race card’, unworthy and unvalued!
