While it may seem like all eyes have been on the country since Putin launched the attack on February 24, six months down the line, a tail off in global interest has begun to set in.Zelensky, The Ukrainian president has always been aware how crucial it would be for his country's success that the attention and sympathies of Western powers (and people) were maintained - signified for example by the many speeches he has held to governments around the world, as well as ongoing public requests for financial and military support. As data from Google shows however, the war has already...

In 1965, columnist and commentator Paul Harvey wrote an interesting piece titled, "If I were the Devil." This was basically a commentary on what Harvey would do if he were Satan and wanted to destroy America. Nearly 60 years later, most of what Harvey predicted has come to pass. While America has not been completely destroyed, our nation is clearly in decline. In 2022, here's what I would do if I wanted to finish the job. I'd Devalue the CurrencyThe United States is approximately 30 trillion dollars in debt. But I wouldn't stop there. I know the dollar isn't going...

The town of Volosovo, near St Petersburg, is booming. Not the economy - it's the loudspeakers. Like many towns in Russia, Volosovo has them installed on tall poles that line the main street. Traditionally they are used for playing patriotic music during national holidays. Now, though, they have a different purpose. "Two volunteer artillery battalions are being formed. We invite men from 18 to 60 years old to join," the speakers blare out. It's a message that's being repeated up and down this vast country. On social media, on TV and on billboards, men are being urged to sign short-term...

Here are three actions patriotic citizens can take to become effectively engaged against the enemies of our republic. The recent clandestine FBI raid on the home of President Donald Trump leaves little doubt that America indeed is in the midst of a second civil war. The war thus far is a non-shooting war with multiple "fronts" of attack waged and supported by both domestic and foreign enemies. If they are successful, they will have effectively nullified America's constitutional republic and negated most, if not all, of Americans' cherished constitutional rights and freedoms. This civil war is being waged successfully against...

The UN Human Rights Office says it is concerned by reports that Russia plans to try Ukrainian prisoners of war (POWs) in Russian-occupied Mariupol. A UN spokeswoman said there was evidence that metal cages were being built in the Ukrainian city's concert hall, "apparently to restrain prisoners of war during proceedings." The UN said prosecuting POWs for taking part in hostilities is a war crime. Russia has previously denied unfairly treating prisoners of war. Photos posted on social media in recent days - including by Ukrainian authorities - appear to show metal cages being built on the stage of the...

He was one of the last remaining prominent opposition politicians in Russia who hadn't been killed, arrested, or forced out of the country. As Yevgeny Roizman was being led out of his flat by police this morning, a waiting journalist asked him why he was being charged. "Just for one phrase," said Mr Roizman, 59, "'The invasion of Ukraine.'" He has had a serious criminal case opened against him for "discrediting the Russian armed forces". It is a common charge used against anti-war activists in Russia. Even using the words "war" or "invasion" here can lead to a visit from...

A Russian rocket strike on a train station killed 25 people, Ukraine says, on the day marking six months since Moscow's invasion began. Five of the victims of the attack in the eastern town of Chaplyne burnt to death in a vehicle, officials said. Two boys aged six and 11 were also killed. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the strike in the middle of a UN Security Council meeting. A further 31 people were wounded. Russia has so far made no comment. Moscow has repeatedly denied targeting civilian infrastructure. Speaking on Thursday, UN human rights commissioner Michelle Bachelet called on Russia's...

Family members said "Buck," a rescue pit bull of five or six years, "would never intentionally hurt her," referring to 89-year old Joan Caffiel.1 On Tuesday morning, Buck suddenly attacked and killed Caffiel. "I don't know what happened, but that is totally not like Buck at all," the victim's grandson, Peyton Faircloth, told reporters. Faircloth said his grandmother suffered from dementia. At the time of the attack, she was being watched by a hired caretaker. "We had Buck for about five, six years. There was not a mean bone in that dog's body. That dog would sleep with us in...

"Most studies show that virtually all of the cases (low of 95% in one study to a high of 99.1% in another; the difference being basically a rounding error or less than 2 outs on the river in Texas Hold’em) are among ONE group of people doing TWO types of a thing. You can’t get it by shaking hands or laying down next to someone. Yet as we stated prior nobody is shaming those people into behaving and..."

The Polish Association of journalists (SDP) issued a statement titled "Russian propagandists who pretend to be journalists should be tried as war criminals." The statement signed by the Association's leaders calls for extending responsibility for crimes committed by Russians against the civilian population of Ukraine not only to "bandits in Russian uniforms," but also to "propagandists of the Kremlin regime." "Propagandists not only misinform the world community about Moscow's bloody aggression against Ukraine, but also call for a fight against Ukrainians in the name of the imperialist interests of Putin and his supporters," the statement said. Among these propagandists who...

A 12-year-old girl in New Orleans was arrested after a video surfaced of her retrieving a gun following a fight on a school bus - only for her mom to defend her by saying: 'She was being bullied.' The girl was in a brawl on the bus on Friday, during which she and the girl she was fighting with pulled each other's hair. She then she reportedly got off the bus, grabbed the pistol from a nearby car and banged on the door of the bus while screaming. When the driver did not open the door for her, she brandished...

FBI agents were told not to pursue an investigation regarding a laptop that President Joe Biden's son Hunter had apparently abandoned at a computer repair store in Delaware, according to whistleblower claims made public by Sen. Ron Johnson on Wednesday. In a letter to Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz, Sen. Johnson, R-Wis., said that "individuals with knowledge" had contacted his office and told them about the FBI slow-walking the laptop investigation after it was recovered in Delaware in December 2019. "Recently, my office heard from individuals with knowledge of the FBI's apparent corruption. After the FBI obtained the Hunter...

Following the Supreme Court’s strong rebuke of New York State’s discriminatory “proper cause” requirement to obtain a concealed-carry permit, legislators in Albany doubled down and enacted new, more invasive methods to dissuade law-abiding citizens who just want to carry a weapon to defend themselves. In response, Gun Owners of America and our non-profit legal arm, Gun Owners Foundation, filed a lawsuit on behalf of a local resident – and you’ll never guess what historic laws the State has now cited in Court as a defense. In response to our lawsuit, New York argued their new subjective “good moral character” requirement...

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot has accused a conservative super PAC of darkening her skin in a television ad meant to slam Illinois' Democrat Governor J.B. Pritzker, calling the commercial a 'cheap trick' to scare people into voting for their candidate. The 30-second ad - which warns in big, white lettering that 'Chicago violence is coming to the suburbs' and shows gun battles on the city's streets - touts Republican Darren Bailey as the solution to the city's current crime woes, and uses comments uttered by Lightfoot in a recent speech to seal this sentiment home. The ad opens with Lightfoot,...

Two girls, 13 and 14, were charged with second-degree robbery and a 14-year-old girl was charged with first-degree robbery and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth-degree on Monday. In a video, taken by one of the vendors Alberto, shows the girls screaming at the two vendors Alberto and Ernesto, who asked to only go by their first names, on August 12 around 3.30pm on River Avenue and East 157th Street in the Bronx, near...
