Former President Donald Trump issued a severe smackdown to his Republican haters in a statement on Sunday, characterizing them as talentless fools.Calling out George Will, Rich Lowry, Jonah Goldberg, and others by name, the former president said that nobody should listen to such “foolish (stupid!) people”:I listen to all of these foolish (stupid!) people, often living in a bygone era, like the weak and frail RINO, Peggy Noonan, who did much less for Ronald Reagan than she claims, and who actually said bad things about him and his ability to speak, or Rich Lowry, who has destroyed the once wonderful...

Vice President Kamala Harris is facing backlash from liberals after posting a “tone deaf” photo of her vowing to fight for abortion rights — as she watched coverage of the nationwide Roe v. Wade protests unfold from Air Force 2. Harris posted the photo on her official Twitter page Friday night as activists took to the streets after the Supreme Court overturned the landmark abortion ruling. “I know there are women out there who are afraid. To those of you who feel alone and scared: I want you to know the President and I are fighting for you and your...

The developed world has advanced mightily over 60 years, increasing its lifespan and per capita income. But such growth has been a double-edged sword: using cheap fossil fuels has enabled the good fortune, but it has also created an environmental hazard that could lead to irreversible damage. Now is the time to address this inequity. Indeed, there’s been a cost to fossil fuel development that oil, gas, and coal companies have not borne. In other words, CO2 and other greenhouse gases have not generally been taxed — a cost that the greater society has picked up. Enter carbon credits, which...

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg on Monday said the military alliance is poised to increase the number of its high-readiness forces to well over 300,000 as part of what he described as “the biggest overhaul of collective defense and deterrence since the Cold War.” His comments come as NATO leaders prepare to convene in Madrid, Spain this week to decide on the so-called Strategic Concept, the 30-member alliance’s most important document. The text, which is updated roughly every decade, will reaffirm NATO’s values, provide a collective assessment of the security challenges and act as a guide to the group’s future political...

June 25 -- Evening. Gen. HOOKER, at 9 o'clock this morning, advanced his Division with the view of occupying a new position. TELFS-BUCHEN, Austria—The Group of Seven leaders are expected to agree to start work on a mechanism to cap the purchase price of Russian oil, with the U.S. also announcing a new round of military aid for Ukraine and sanctions against Moscow, Biden administration officials said Monday. Leaders will direct relevant ministers in their countries to work on the details of Russian oil caps, which would create a buyers’ cartel of Western nations and their allies, the official said. There is no timeline yet on when the details will be worked out. The issue was discussed by G-7 leaders on Sunday,...

Project Veritas on Sunday released leaked audio of a Democrat US Senate candidate’s phone call with an inmate at Perry Correctional Institution calling for “secret sleepers” to infiltrate the South Carolina Republican party. “We need some secret sleepers. Like you need them to run as the other side, even though they for our side. And we need them to win,” Krystle Matthews, a Democrat South Carolina State Rep. running for US Senate said in the leaked audio. “We need people to run as Republicans in these local elections. This is the only way you’re gonna change the dynamics in South...

Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” House Select Committee member Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) sounded off about the hearings over the riot at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021. Raskin asserted that the hearings were “unifying Republicans, Democrats, independents, libertarians” and “people across the spectrum in a determination that American constitutional democracy has got to work the way we know it has to work.” “People are busy, and so we know a lot of people, especially younger people, will learn about the hearings through snippets that go out on TV or online, and people now are able to process information...

I lived in California for 15 years as I pastored two congregations. I'm now retired (mostly) and have lived in Texas for five ears. How tragic to see leaders in CA be prideful about the so -called right to butcher or poison their children. Woe to those who call evil, good! At least here in Texas unborn children have a chance. Loving organizations offer help and support. On another note, wouldn't it be ironic if the people illegally coming over the border became citizens and voted Republican because they are pro-life, pro-family and pro-God.

Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) touted the Supreme Court’s ruling on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health, which overturned the high court’s 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling. Jordan told Fox News the decision was not only a “win for life,” the Constitution, and common sense but also a “victory over the intimidation tactics of the left.” “[T]he left … will always try and intimidate you,” Jordan declared. “But this decision this week was a win for life, was a win for the Constitution, a win for common sense. God bless the Supreme Court. And God bless President Trump. This doesn’t happen if...

Rep. Bobby Rush, an Illinois Democratic congressman, has paid his wife and son roughly $56,000 from his campaign committee since 2019, according to Federal Election Commission (FEC) records. His son Jeffrey has notably raked in close to $45,000 for mostly “field services” and “field operations services,” filings show, while his wife Paulette has been paid roughly $11,000 for “accounting services.” “I wouldn’t say it’s a common practice, but it does happen,” Kendra Arnold, executive director of the Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust, told The Daily Caller News Foundation. “It’s illegal to pay a family member anything above fair market...

The Bible In Paintings 2 ENCOURAGEMENT FOR APPRECIATING AND APPLYING GOD'S MESSAGE 2nd KINGS CHAPTERS 2-6 Elisha picked up the cloak that had fallen from Elijah and went back and stood on the bank of the Jordan. Then he took the cloak that had fallen from him and struck the water with it. “Where now is the LORD, the God of Elijah?” he asked. When he struck the water, it divided to the right and to the left, and he crossed over. The company of the prophets from Jericho, who were watching, said, “The spirit of Elijah is resting...

The California AG endorses denying licenses based on the applicant's "hatred" or "racism." Friday, the day after the New York State Rifle & Pistol Ass'n v. Bruen Supreme Court decision, the California Attorney General wrote a letter to California law enforcement and government lawyers, expressing "the Attorney General's view that the Court's decision renders California's 'good cause' standard to secure a permit to carry a concealed weapon in most public places unconstitutional." California thus seems ready to promptly shift to a fundamentally shall-issue regime, in which pretty much all law-abiding adults can get licenses to carry concealed weapons. Nor will...

Period- and fertility-tracking apps have become weapons in Friday's post-Roe America. These seemingly innocuous trackers contain tons of data about sexual history, menstruation and pregnancy dates, all of which could now be used to prosecute women seeking abortions — or incite digital witch hunts in states that offer abortion bounties. Under a law passed last year in Texas, any citizen who successfully sues an abortion provider, a health center worker, or anyone who helps someone access an abortion after six weeks can claim at least $10,000, and other US states are following that example. "We are just a few steps...

Michigan Democratic governor Gretchen Whitmer says she's added 25,000 "good-paying auto jobs" during her tenure. The state has actually lost thousands of auto jobs on her watch, labor statistics show. In a June 2 press release, Whitmer said she was "proud" to announce Michigan has "added nearly 25,000 auto jobs since I took office." The Democrat roughly three weeks later repeated the claim, writing in a "mobility and electrification" fact sheet that she "is ensuring Michigan lives up to its legacy as the place that put the world on wheels by creating nearly 25,000 good-paying auto jobs." Bureau of Labor...
