CNN)Joe Biden has made vindicating democracy the central objective of his presidency. Improbably, he has found more success abroad than at home so far. The President's signal achievement has been uniting Western democracies in defense of Ukraine against Russian leader Vladimir Putin's authoritarian aggression. Biden and NATO partners have helped prevent Russia from overrunning its smaller, weaker neighbor. Yet Biden himself stands to get politically overrun within months by Republican opponents at best indifferent and at worst hostile to preserving America's own democracy. Facing an electorate upset by inflation, crime and the lingering pandemic, the White House has watched the...

In December 2021, I wrote my Congresswoman, Nancy Mace, R SC, to ask for her to inquire on my behalf why Ray Epps has not been indicted for instigation of unlawful actions January 5 and January 6, 2020 due to irrefutable video evidence. I had not heard back from my written request and no one in the office returned my phone calls.

Video recently emerged of a black man behaving erratically and threateningly on a crowded New York City subway. When he seated himself next to two women, they got up and moved away, but the man forcibly grabbed one of them and sat her back down. The woman, with eyes closed and terror on her face, repeatedly mouthed, “Help me.” Nobody flinched. They watched (and filmed) as this man, probably no more than 150 pounds, then shouted at her, grabbed her by the hair and shoved her. “What does it say about society that not a single man stepped in to...

Congress considers this bill a must-pass piece of legislation because it’s used to help fund the FDA, as well as revamp existing policies. As a result, it also functions as a vehicle for other proposals to reach the president’s desk — especially those that couldn’t get there on their own. And that’s why, on Tuesday, Sanders took advantage of the must-pass moment to propose an amendment to the user fee bill that would allow for the importation of drugs from Canada and the United Kingdom, and, after two years, from other countries. Prescription medications are often much less expensive in...

That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven...In the "Old Testament" -- the Christian order of the books of the Hebrew Bible -- the last words are:Malachi 41 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. 2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and...

It’s his fault, periodMove over baby formula: there’s a new shortage in town. Tampons are becoming increasingly hard to find in Joe Biden’s America.Much as they did with the formula shortage, I’m sure the president’s handlers will wait a few weeks before briefing Joe on the tampon issue. After all, they wouldn’t want to upset their boss with more bad news while he is trying to enjoy his weekly weekend trip to his mansion on Rehoboth Beach. (He left at 11 a.m. on Friday, by the way.)Unfortunately for the White House, the media are not ignoring the problem.NPR ran a...

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) told Breitbart News Saturday the IRS spent approximately $700,000 “between March and June 1” purchasing ammunition. Gaetz described the ammunition acquisition as “bizarre.” He noted he and his Republican colleagues are trying to ascertain why the ammunition was purchased, noting, “There is concern that this is part of a broader effort to have any entity in the federal government buy up ammo to reduce the amount of ammunition that is in supply, while at the same time, making it harder to produce ammo.” Gaetz noted a scenario where federal entities are buying up ammo puts citizens...

President Donald Trump once again went after the sham Jan 6th panel in a post on Truth Social Monday morning.Trump said he has a lot of witnesses who could testify but the panel is “one-sided.”He added if his witnesses were allowed to talk the “witch hunt” would be over very quickly. From Truth Social:I have sooo many witnesses to everything good, but the highly partisan and one sided Unselect Committee of political hacks has not interest in hearing or seeing them. This Witch Hunt could all be ended quickly if they did!The panel has undoubtedly been one-sided. They refused to allow...

In some ways, the last place you’d want to put the James Webb Space Telescope is, well, in space. If you owned a $10 billion car, you wouldn’t leave it out in a hail storm, and while there’s no hail in space, there are plenty of micrometeoroids—high speed debris no bigger than a dust grain but moving so fast they can pack a true destructive wallop. Every day, millions of such fragments rain down on Earth, but they incinerate in the atmosphere long before they reach the ground. The Webb, parked in a spot in space 1.6 million km (1...

Putin Address from St Petersburg…“It is clear why they waged this propaganda campaign, what all these spells about 200-to-1 ruble-dollar exchange rates and claims that our economy would collapse were all about. All this was – and remains – a tool in the information warfare, an attempt to put psychological pressure on Russian society,” he continued, stressing further that “some global currencies are committing suicide”.On the EU, he said: “The European Union has completely lost its political sovereignty, and its bureaucratic elites are dancing to someone else’s tune, accepting whatever they are told from above, causing harm to their own...

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court seems poised to take on a new elections case being pressed by Republicans that could increase the power of state lawmakers over races for Congress and the presidency, as well as redistricting, and cut state courts out of the equation. The issue has arisen repeatedly in cases from North Carolina and Pennsylvania, where Democratic majorities on the states’ highest courts have invoked voting protections in their state constitutions to frustrate the plans of Republican-dominated legislatures. In their appeal to the nation’s high court, North Carolina Republicans wrote that it is time for the Supreme...

Kellyanne Conway, who served as special counselor to former President Donald Trump, said when she worked in his administration nobody ever had to ask “who’s in charge?” “I will tell you this: Whatever people think of Donald Trump, the White House I worked in nobody ever had to ask, ‘What is the vice president doing?’ … And nobody had to ask who is actually the president? ’Who is in charge?'” she told John Catsimatidis on his WABC AM 770 show in an interview that aired Sunday, referring to 79-year-old President Biden.
