TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - After filing for bankruptcy, the now-defunct Black News Channel is unable to pay some of its employees their earned wages, said a spokesperson. It had been operating for roughly two years when on Friday its President and CEO Princell Hair announced to employees in an email that the company would be immediately ceasing live operations and filing for bankruptcy. Employees did not receive their scheduled paychecks that day. BNC spokesperson Tim Buckman told WCTV that payroll deposits that...

Disney parks are axing gendered language such as "boys and girls" in their park greetings to promote gender inclusivity, according to video of a company executive. So now they know it's ‘Hello, everyone,’ or ‘Hello, friends,'" Disney's diversity and inclusion manager Vivian Ware was heard saying in a video conference call recorded by City Journal's Christopher Rufo. Parkgoers will no longer hear "ladies and gentlemen" and "boys and girls" in park greetings, according to the video.

The president of BlackRock investment firm has said that an 'entitled generation' of Americans will face the shock of goods shortages for the first time in their lives as supply chain disruptions continue to spur high inflation. The incident occurred during a House Progressive Caucus press conference regarding the situation with Iran. In addition to laughing, Omar (D-MN) can be seen joking around with fellow progressive congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-MI). This all took place as Jackson Lee was providing the public with a respectful and solemn update on the history of casualties in the area. "We left four thousand plus – maybe even forty-four hundred dead and over sixty thousand who came back injured in some form, and the war never ended,” Jackson Lee said as Omar failed to contain her laughter.

I cannot locate the shareable video on any other tech platform, which, given the importance, is not surprising. I doubt any govt in the western world wants to have the dots connected. In the video...

ABC’s prime-time drama A Million Little Things has already well established itself as a vehicle for pushing liberal lectures onto viewers. But the show's latest episode, “Fresh Start,” was like a woke trifecta, hitting on three favorite leftist topics - race, homosexuality, and abortion. And for the second time, the show put in a plug for abortion giant Planned Parenthood just because they can. The racial storyline was one we can all agree on this time, unlike in the past, as a main character reflects on a painful memory of being the butt of a cruel, racist prank that school...

Back in the day, just about everything that used a battery had a hatch or a hutch that you could open to pull it out and replace it if need be. Whether it was a radio, a cordless phone, or a cellphone, it was a cinch to swap out a battery. These days, many devices hide their batteries, deep beneath tamper-proof stickers and warnings that state there are “no user serviceable components inside.” The EU wants to change all that, though, and has voted to mandate that everything from cellphones to e-bikes must have easily replaceable batteries, with the legislation...

Fifty-five powerful and influential House Democrats are reportedly financially stiffing the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), failing to pay the dues they owe because of the likelihood that Republicans will retake the chamber. Top Democrats leaders are unhappy and worried because many of their valuable caucus members are not paying their dues to the party committee, according to Punchbowl News. Rules dictate that each member is responsible for dumping a certain amount of cash into the committee’s coffers to be used by the top brass as a part of a national strategy to defeat Republicans. The amount of cash members...

Preston Cooper, a researcher at The Foundation for Research on Equal Opportunity studying the economics of higher education, recently published a wide-ranging analysis of almost 14,000 U.S. graduate degree programs. In his investigation―which used a similar methodology to a related study he conducted on the value of undergraduate degrees―Cooper calculated the return on investment (ROI) for graduate programs across the country, determining which degrees pack the best payoff and which ones are likely to yield negative financial returns. So, how do North Carolina’s schools stack up? While Cooper found that more than forty percent of master’s degrees have a negative...

Popular New Age thought postulates that everyone has a “god within.” It’s a pleasant way of saying that we’re all special while making “god” to be rather banal. But there is a clear teaching of classical Christianity regarding Christ-within-us, and it is essential to the Orthodox way of life. We should not understand our relationship with God to be an “external” matter, as if we were one individual and God another. Our union with God, birthed in us at Holy Baptism, is far more profound. “He who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.” (1Co 6:17) God...

As U.S. gasoline prices hover near a 14-year high, the Biden administration is exploring ways to lower fuel costs, from suspending federal gas taxes to further tapping the nation's Strategic Petroleum Reserve. Among the options the White House is examining for reining in gas prices are reopening the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, suspending the federal gas tax and offering incentives to oil producers to increase output, Stein said.Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has said she is open to suspending the federal gas tax on fuel. Democrats in the Senate have introduced legislation that would suspend the 18.5-cents-per-gallon tax for the rest of...

Biden, 79, received the first series of two doses of the coronavirus vaccine shortly before taking office and a first booster shot in September. The additional booster dose will be administered by a member of the White House Medical Unit.

Hunter Biden used the perks of the vice presidency — parties, meetings with Joe Biden and flights on Air Force Two — to pursue business deals with Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim while his father was in office, records show. Hunter’s involvement with Slim, at one time the world’s richest man, commenced soon after a White House state dinner the magnate attended in May 2010, along with Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, to honor Mexican President Felipe Calderon. The diary on Hunter’s abandoned laptop shows he and Slim were both guests at a State Department luncheon during Calderon’s visit, which...
