Article V opponents and some proponents view the Article V COS movement through the lens of our national political parties. The time is long past to dislodge oneself from this paradigm. To remain in this mindset is unhelpful at best, and destructive at worst, because the two national parties are one Uniparty incapable of reforming the racket that serves its members so well. Professor Angelo M. Codevilla coined the term, “Uniparty” in 2013. His explosive article nudged many conservatives to accept what they long suspected, that among the top echelons of the two parties there is little difference between their...

Democrat Texas state Rep. James Talarico proudly boasted about receiving a Dr. Fauci ‘real life political action figure’ doll (with removable mask!) for Christmas Saturday, provoking the expected reactions from Fauci detractors and supporters. But former Trump 2020 communications director Tim Murtaugh posted a disturbing image from the Amazon page of the Fauci doll seller, FCTRY: A mock image of Fauci torturing President Trump who is seen strapped on a rack with an electrode cap on his head as if they were in a torture chamber, with Fauci pouring a purple (poison?) potion into a cup in front of Trump.

The defense team for the “radical extremists” who are being accused of participating in a plot to kidnap Michigan’s unpopular Governor Gretchen Whitmer are calling on the judge to throw out the case against their clients. The 20-page motion, filed Christmas night by all five defense lawyers, asks U.S. District Judge Robert Jonker to dismiss the conspiracy charge. The move would effectively dismantle the government’s case and remaining charges, which are intertwined and based on the conspiracy charge, the lawyers wrote. “Essentially, the evidence here demonstrates egregious overreaching by the government’s agents, and by the informants those agents handled,” defense...

Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) credited his colleague Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) for saving the Democratic Party with his pledge to vote “no” on the so-called Build Back Better legislation. Cramer explained Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) was under pressure from different sides of the Democratic Party, including a possible primary challenge from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), which has forced his decision-making process.

Injecting millions of people with countless copies of a gene that instructs the body to produce a toxic protein might not seem very sensible. But it was hoped that this approach, the basis of the COVID vaccine, would help minimise damage caused by the protein – the ‘spike’ that the genetically engineered SARS-CoV-2 uses to invade our body cells – when we meet the actual virus.Last month we reported an American heart specialist’s finding that most of his patients showed biochemical changes signalling increased cardiovascular risk in the weeks following their COVID mRNA jab. Markers for inflammation, cell death and...

The devastated father of a 'fit and healthy' young mum who died suddenly while 29 weeks pregnant said doctors told him she would be alive today if she 'had taken the vaccine'. David Exley, 57, said his daughter Sadie, 24, had a 'hunky-dory' pregnancy and had no complications until she suddenly started suffering from migraines and chest pain. But following tests at Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield in October this year, the mum-of-two was diagnosed with a blood clot in her lung. Her condition deteriorated after she caught Covid in late November, and a week later she was rushed to St...

The governor, Patronis and Moody voted to revoke all proxy voting authority that had previously been given to outside fund managers, clarifying that all fund managers should act solely in the financial interest of the state’s funds. They also announced that they would be conducting a survey of all of the investments of the Florida Retirement System to determine how many assets Florida has in Chinese companies. “If you look at how these major companies behave when faced with Chinese disapproval, they censor what the CCP tells them to censor and we see groveling apologies,” DeSantis said. “Go back a...

Police have increased security measures at Windsor Castle after an armed intruder broke into the grounds as the Queen prepared to celebrate Christmas with her family. Armed officers stood on guard and a surveillance vehicle was spotted on castle grounds this morning after the intruder was arrested yesterday. Sources suggested the man was armed with a crossbow and used a rope ladder to scale a metal fence but police refused to divulge exactly what he was carrying, only that it was an offensive weapon. It is understood he was spotted on CCTV roaming the gardens at around 8.30am after scaling...

Las Vegas cops made a startling discovery on Thursday when they found a severed head in the truck of a suspect wanted on theft and embezzlement charges. “I do not see a scenario for any kind of shutdown,” New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio declared this week, as parts of New York were in fact shutting down all around him. Broadway canceled show after show. Restaurants closed their kitchens. De Blasio’s successor, Eric Adams, who will take office January 1, nixed his inauguration gala. There has been no March 2020–style universal shutdown, but New York is not back anymore, baby. For Brent Young, who runs a butcher shop and two restaurants in Brooklyn, it began last week when, one by one, staff members tested positive. “It’s...

Supply chain issues aren’t just showing up for consumer staples, they’re also starting to rear their head in rental cars. There has been a shortage in the rental car industry since earlier this year and while travelers are “encountering higher rates and few choices,” according to a new Wall Street Journal article, companies like Hertz are “struggling” to re-stock fleets after downsizing due to Covid. For customers lucky enough to even find a car, many are being forced to downsize or book vehicles they didn’t originally intend. At the same time, rental rates are skyrocketing. The daily rate is now...

Poor “Karen.” Her magical incantations of persuasion — “Put your f–king mask on, you piece of sh-t!” — for some incomprehensible reason, failed to have their desired effect on a man on a Delta Airlines flight from Tampa to Atlanta. Maybe her powers of persuasion failed because he knew something about mask efficacy. Maybe her magic words failed because he knew a bit about airplane filtration systems. Or maybe he was eating. He wasn’t at that moment wearing his mask to her satisfaction and “Karen” wasn’t having it. Video of the woman’s attack shows that her own mask was around...

The day after Christmas — or the second day of the twelve days of Christmas, in a more traditional coinage — is the feast of St. Stephen.* St. Stephen is well-known as the “protomartyr”, the first Christian to die for his faith. (Jesus doesn’t count.) There’s a St. Stephen’s Gate in Jerusalem so named for its supposed proximity to the site of the protomartyrdom. We get the Stephen story from the New Testament Acts of the Apostles, as given in this from the Tyndale-derived King James Version (Acts 6:8 – 8:3) And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great...

The Military and Fenway bowls were canceled Sunday as a result of COVID-19 issues with participating teams. Boston College had over 40 players unavailable to play in the Military Bowl against East Carolina on Monday. Virginia also had players test positive for COVID-19, making it unable to travel and play SMU at the Wasabi Fenway Bowl, set for Wednesday. Last season, Boston College made it through the entire year with only one positive COVID-19 case but declined the opportunity to play in a bowl game because of the toll the entire season took on everyone.

Surrounded and greatly outnumbered, the men of the 101st Airborne Division were not expecting a merry Christmas in Bastogne, Belgium, in 1944. Brigadier General Anthony McAuliffe sent back just one word — NUTS! — to the German commander. When the German messengers appeared puzzled by the term, one of McAuliffe’s attaches told them that, loosely translated, they could “go to hell.” McAuliffe then penned a letter to his own troops, in recognition of the imminent holiday, informing them of the events that had transpired.
