Hillary Clinton is a wife, mother, lawyer, senator, secretary of state, and perhaps the first front-runner to lose two presidential races. On December 9, she will share her experiences, teaching a MasterClass course on “the power of resilience”: Yet there are so many potentially useful and educational classes she could offer but won’t, such as: -How to Turn a $1,000 Investment into $100,000 in Less Than a Year. -Vast Right Wing Conspiracy: Mass Communication as Deflection. -A colloquium on the history of carpetbagging. -Quid Pro $: Charitable “Foundation” as Cash Cow. -How to Do a Southern Accent. -“What Difference, at...

The War on Christmas is taking no prisoners in 2021. What was once a handful of angry extremists on the fringes wailing about the lack of celebrations for those who don’t follow Christianity has now morphed into a group of woke warriors wreaking havoc during the holiday, hoping to frighten those who commemorate the Son of God or even simply love shiny objects. As if we don’t have enough anxiety already with Omicron, a nationwide Santa shortage, looting, and defunding police, we can now add burning Christmas trees.

With Wednesday’s count, Sawant has narrowed the difference to only 246 votes, out of the 39,274 counted so far. She received 62% of the votes counted on Wednesday. King County Elections Chief of Staff Kendall Hodson said Wednesday the county estimates there are about 1,200 ballots left to be counted on Thursday and an additional 656 ballots with signature challenges that could be resolved and...

A secularist non-profit organization that strongly urges separation of church and state in America is taking issue with Wreaths Across America's nearly 30-year tradition of placing wreaths on thousands of military graves. The Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) is calling out Wreaths Across America, telling the Colorado Springs Gazette that the organization's actions in placing wreaths on military gravesites around the country are "unconstitutional, an atrocity and a disgrace." "We have no problem if people reach out and want a wreath on their deceased veterans’ graves, but to put them everywhere, to blanket them without permission of the surviving families...

Should we ignore the costs of the "Build Back Better" bill and simply focus on the benefits? Wouldn't that be nice? Unfortunately, the most constructive criticisms of the legislation reveal why the magical thinking behind this monstrously expensive spending package will not improve American society. In urging us to focus less on costs, economist Alan Blinder asserts: "The House bill includes several real winners. Do you oppose universal pre-K education? You shouldn't; it works. Are you against more-affordable child care? Not many Americans are. Do you think we should ignore global climate change? If so, think again." But these assertions...

CHICAGO - The Chinatown neighborhood is reeling after a 71-year-old man was shot and killed Tuesday afternoon near an elementary school. A small group gathered outside the Chinese Christian Union Church and then walked around the block to the scene of the unspeakable crime. "Pray for hope and healing for the victim, and his family and the children who were rocked and shaken by today," said Chris Javier, a member of the Chinese Christian Union Church. Police say Woom Sing Tse was walking on the sidewalk when he was shot.

Hillary will be playing Humpty Dumpty in today’s performanceToday’s Throwback Thursday is brought to you by the better half of the megalomaniacal Clinton Family Dynasty: With all due respect you old hag, STFU. Only an egomaniac would find a way to deliver a “victory” speech for an election she lost 5 years ago.Only a delusional fool would participate in such performance art. But at least we now know what she was doing instead of campaigning during the 2016 presidential campaign: she was busy crafting her ‘historical’ acceptance speech. She didn’t really need to campaign as the DOJ was busy working...

Whatever could have been done to save the United States has been done. Republicans have won a lot of elections over the past twenty years and still there are people like Mitch McConnell who sell out not just the Republicans, but the whole nation, giving into a completely weak and feckless Joe Biden. Why? Because, in his view, Republicans are getting too powerful. There are too many patriots (what they call Trumpers to minimize people who believe that the U.S. congress ought to focus on the American people FIRST) in the Republican Party and they need to be stopped. When...

WASHINGTON Sunday, Dec. 8. FAIRFAX COURT-HOUSE AND FLINT HILL DESERTED. Scouts sent out from Gen. WADWORTH's Brigade Friday, returned to-day. They report that Flint Hill and also Fairfax Court-house are entirely deserted by the rebel pickets. They passed through and beyond the village of Fairfax before they met the pickets of the enemy. THE CAUCUS OF SATURDAY NIGHT. There has been no little curiosity excited among Republicans and Democrats, to-day, to know all about the caucus of Republican Members of Congress, held last night at the Capitol. The TIMES will have the only account of it. There is unquestionably a...

Gee, I wonder why? A major morning television show in the UK deleted a Twitter poll asking if vaccines should be made mandatory after the results showed that 89% of respondents oppose compulsory shots. Yes, really. Good Morning Britain, which often tries to set the news agenda, posted the poll which asked the public, “With Omicron cases doubling every two days, is it time to make vaccines mandatory?” The last screenshots Twitter users were able to obtain before the poll was wiped showed 89% oppose mandatory vaccinations, with just 11% in favor after a total of over 42,000 votes. ......

San Diego has a D.A. who's not like the others... In California's second-biggest city, San Diego, they've got a district attorney who thinks it's her job to prosecute criminals. According to the Washington Examiner: At least 10 self-identifying members of antifa in San Diego were charged with "violent criminal acts" relating to an incident earlier in 2021. The defendants "allegedly attempted to obstruct a rally for former President Donald Trump in San Diego on Jan. 9," the charges state. She's leveling jailtime charges against 10 antifa thugs after an unprovoked assault on Trump supporters who, videos show, were just standing...

I just finished reading an article on the Big Think website titled, “When science mixes with politics, all we get is politics,” by Professor Marcelo Gleiser, theoretical physicst, Dartmouth College. I mistakenly thought that the commentary would decry the misuse of science by politicians, but no. Instead, it decries the mistrust that we, the unwashed masses, have developed for the science establishment in recent years. Unwittingly, the eminent professor gives us yet more reasons to regard science insiders with skepticism. He does what so many of his colleagues do, which is to equate science itself, with the institutions that purport...

Washington -- One of my favorite findings about liberals -- now called progressives -- is that they always go too far. Even when they are pursuing a noble goal, they almost always take it to extremes and end up headed toward disaster. Consider the goal of relieving poverty. It attracts not only the virtue flaunters but also the truly virtuous. The plight of the poor is one of the chief subjects of the Bible, and I would suppose that most of the great religions admonish the faithful to care for the poor. In fact, a substantial portion of the federal...

When the Dems have lost Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer's support for the mandate, you can be sure the political winds have shifted. Federal courts have serially rebuked President Biden’s vaccine mandates for federal employees, federal contractors, and employers of over 100. But the mandates are not merely a legal disaster, they are becoming a political disaster as well. Yesterday, two Democrat senators, Joe Manchin of West Virginia and John Tester of Montana, joined all 50 Republicans to vote to repeal the OSHA mandate for employers of over 100 workers. Under the terms of the Congressional Review Act, simple majorities of...

U.S.A. –-(AmmoLand.com)- Those who follow the debate on restoring Second Amendment rights have probably heard the other side proclaim some variant of:“Most victims are murdered by people they know.”The implication is defending yourself from a murderer is futile, because there is no point in trying to defend yourself from a person who is close to you. This is a way of lying with statistics. The truth is far different.Few Victims Are Murdered By Someone They Live With.In 2013, this correspondent published an essay on the Misleading Murderer that you Know. The numbers were from 2010. This update uses the latest numbers....

The Russian incursion in Ukraine, according to political scientist Oskar Krejčí is not going to happen. "What would be Russia's gain in Ukraine, which teeters on the brink of economic collapse? I'm more concerned of the attack by Kiev on rebel areas in the east of the country than the invasion of the Russian army into Ukraine,“ says the well-known professor. The West, according to him, shouldn't be interested in a conflict. "It was stated clearly, even for the pro-government press to realize that Washington and Brussels do not promise Kiev military assistance in case of major armed conflict in...
