Yesterday evening and this morning, we sent you two URGENT action alerts. And you all responded marvelously. The team here at GOA is so grateful for all of you who took action. Your loud voice makes it known to legislators on Capitol Hill that people back at home are truly watching what they’re doing. Yesterday our team in Washington, D.C., learned that anti-gunners in the Senate were trying to pass Universal Background Checks without a single senator voting. So-called Universal Background Checks are only enforceable if the government has a registry to check if a gun belongs to a gun...

“We have the instruments to have safe travel,” U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said. “Let’s use those instruments to avoid this kind of, allow me to say, travel apartheid."As the world continued to grapple with how to respond to the new omicron variant Thursday, the sweeping travel bans imposed by many countries faced fresh criticism from global leaders. The scrutiny over the Covid- 19 restrictions came as the United States moves to slightly tighten its own international travel rules, after the first omicron case was detected in California and as South Africa, where the variant was first reported last week, saw...

There are several credible candidates in Ohio’s Republican primary to replace Sen. Rob Portman next year. With so many options for voters, deciding which to rule out first seems like a smart first step. Contenders include former state treasurer and legislator Josh Mandel, former Ohio GOP chairwoman Jane Timken, Cleveland-area businessmen Bernie Moreno and Mike Gibbons, and Cincinnati venture capitalist J.D. Vance. Most polls have shown upwards of a third of likely voters are undecided, with Mandel in the lead, Vance trailing behind him, and everyone else laboring in single digits. Donald Trump won Ohio by 8 points last November,...

German physician-scientists reported Monday that not a single healthy child between the ages of 5 and 18 died of Covid in Germany in the first 15 months of the epidemic. Not one. Even including children and adolescents with preexisting conditions, only six in that age range died, the researchers found. Germany is Europe’s largest country, with more than 80 million people, including about 10 million school-age children and adolescents. Serious illness was also extremely rare. The odds that a healthy child aged 5-11 would require intensive care for Covid were about 1 in 50,000, the researchers found. For older and...

The media’s deluge of lies about the Rittenhouse case is a disturbing reminder that the corporate press lies about everything all the time.As far as corporate media are concerned, the massacre in Waukesha, Wis., on Sunday was a “Christmas parade crash.” That’s how the attack that killed six people and injured more than 60 others is being described by ABC News, CBS News, CNN, Newsweek and others. Not an intentional attack, not a massacre allegedly committed by a violent career criminal already facing multiple felony charges, but merely a crash. The New York Times is calling it a “tragedy.” ***...

Five cases of the COVID-19 omicron variant have been detected in the New York City area, Mayor Bill de Blasio and Gov. Kathy Hochul announced Thursday evening. Hochul said they account for the only five known cases in teh state thus far and include one in Brooklyn, two in Queens and one in Long Island’s Suffolk County. A fifth was pegged to “New York City” by the officials but without a more precise location. The Long Island patient, a 67-year-old woman, had recently returned from South Africa, Hochul said. She tested positive on Nov. 30, according to the governor.

Scientists believe they have solved the mystery behind the extremely rare blood clots caused by the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine. A team of international experts, involving researchers from AstraZeneca, say that in a very small number of cases — about one in 100,000 in the UK — the vaccine can set off a chain reaction which leads to the body confusing its own blood platelets for fragments of virus.

Among the more than a dozen smash-and-grab robberies in the Bay Area in recent weeks, cannabis facilities may have been the hardest hit. In San Francisco, at least four cannabis businesses have been robbed in the last two weeks, according to news reports. At least 20 have been hit in Oakland, where most of the Bay Area’s cannabis cultivation, manufacturing and distribution facilities are located. “It’s proving to be unbearable for cannabis operators,” said Amber Senter at an Oakland press conference held by cannabis business owners on Monday. Senter owns multiple cannabis business licenses in San Francisco and Oakland, and...

More than three years after Pope Francis sparked a firestorm of religious debate by telling a young boy that his deceased atheist father might still end up in Heaven, a new study from the Pew Research Center shows a majority of Catholic and mainline Christians also believe people who don’t believe in God will go to Heaven. Data for the study, conducted Sept. 20-26, was collected from a nationally representative sample of 6,485 U.S. adults. Pew researchers decided for the first time to tackle deep philosophical questions like the meaning of life, the purpose of suffering and why bad things...

President Biden said he met with former Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir and served as a liaison between Israel and Egypt during the Six-Day War despite still being in law school at the time. The president, who spoke during a menorah lighting in celebration of Hanukkah Wednesday at the White House, appeared to be referring to a meeting he had with her just prior to the October 1973 Yom Kippur War. It's not clear what he meant by his role as a "liaison."

Things are starting to get really weird. What I am about to share with you sounds very strange, but it is all true. Before I get into it, let me ask you a question. If you could have a vaccine passport permanently embedded into your hand, would you do it? Amazingly, some people in Sweden are willingly doing this to themselves. They are putting microchips that contain their vaccine passport information into their hands, and they are raving about how convenient this is. You can actually watch a video of this being done to someone right here. The video is...

As if happening on cue from a Higher Power, (amen, brother, amen!) today comes the news that in 1999 Bill gates and Microsoft released a game called ‘Omikron’ that revolved around demons pretending to be human, and go around harvesting human souls. Bill Gates pretends to be human, Mark Zuckerberg pretends to be human, and the list goes on ad nauseum. File this article under Predictive Programming when you’re done reading it. “But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared...

The COVID-19 pandemic has tested our psychological limits. Some have been more affected than others by the stress of potential illness and the confusion of constantly changing health information and new restrictions. A new study finds the pandemic may have also impaired people's cognitive abilities and altered risk perception, at a time when making the right health choices is critically important. Scientists surveyed more than 1,500 Americans online from April to June, 2020. Participants were asked to rate their level of worry about the COVID-19 pandemic and complete a battery of psychological tests to measure their basic cognitive abilities like...
