For all the Left’s ongoing hoopla about the dire necessity for “common sense gun control,” nothing currently being proposed makes any more sense than measures already tried and failed. The American public has seen and heard it all before, and is even less interested in buying into it today than in years past. But the Left keeps trying. Their latest gambit is to attack ammunition purchases. Earlier this month, Democrats in the Florida legislature filed a bill they call “Jamie’s Law,” named after a victim in the 2018 school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. The...

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show” that former President Donald Trump supporters feared “civil rights and human rights, the cultural changes.” Clinton said, “I do think that we are facing a crisis of democracy, a crisis of legitimacy, a crisis that really goes to the heart of what the future of our country and many others around the world will be. So I spend my time trying to figure out what we can do about it. I am not ever going to give up because there’s just too much at stake.”

New Zealand's borders will remain closed to most international travelers over the next five months as the country takes precautions to fight the coronavirus. Government officials reportedly made the announcement on Wednesday during a news conference "A phased approach to reconnecting with the world is the safest approach to ensure risk is carefully managed," New Zealand's COVID-19 response minister, Chris Hipkins, said, according to Reuters. "This reduces any potential impacts on vulnerable communities and the New Zealand health system."

Committee admits error in subpoena letter to Bernard Kerik, whose lawyer asks for more time to address Trump attorney-client privilege issues ============================================================================ The Democrat-led congressional committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riots handed Republican critics a political cudgel, admitting it made a false accusation against witness Bernard Kerik while subpoenaing him. But the backpedal Tuesday — prompted by an investigative report in Just the News — portends a larger battle over how much the former NYPD commissioner can cooperate with the congressional investigation as his lawyer raises concerns that some of Kerik's work on election integrity issues prior to the...

Hundreds of Google employees have signed and circulated a manifesto calling on the Big Tech giant to retract its COVID-19 vaccine mandate. Google has asked its more than 150,000 US employees to report their vaccination status to the company by Dec. 3 whether they plan to work in the office or not, CNBC reported, citing internal company documents. And all Google employees who work either directly or indirectly with government contractors are required to be vaccinated, in line with the Biden administration’s federal mandate for contractors. However, the manifesto opposing the mandate has been signed by at least 600 Google...

The Iranian regime is not only covering up its nuclear weapons ambitions. For more than three decades, the extremist theocracy has tried to cover up one of its greatest crimes against humanity. In 1988, in what became known as the 1988 massacre, Tehran began the systematic killing of thousands of dissidents and opposition activists. Ultimately, an estimated 30,000 people lost their lives in the brutal massacre. But a court in Sweden is now ending the regime's cover-up. In November 2019, Swedish authorities arrested a man, Hamid Noury, believed to have been involved in the 1988 massacre. On July 27, 2021,...

President Joe Biden appeared to have a “Ron Burgundy” moment on Tuesday while reading a speech about gas prices off a Teleprompter. Biden was compared to the fictional newscaster from the movie “Anchorman” when he recited the words “end of quote” after referencing a statement from the CEO of Walmart. “And, by the way, you may have heard the CEO of Walmart yesterday on the steps we’ve taken. He said, and I quote, ‘The combination of private enterprise and government working together has been really successful,'” Biden said in the speech.

Speaking to Fox News host Tucker Carlson Monday night, 18-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse revealed his original attorneys, Lin Wood and John Pierce, stranded him in jail while raising millions of dollars off of his cause. "Lin Wood was raising money on my behalf, and he held me in jail for 87 days, disrespected my wishes, put me on media interviews which I should never have done. Which he said, 'Oh, you're going to go talk to the Washington Post,' which was not a good idea. Along with John Pierce, they said I was safer in jail instead of at home with...

When an Antifa protester used an axe to violently crash through Republican North Dakota U.S. Senator John Hoeven’s office window, the attacker recently received a sentence of merely probation, a small fine, and a return to him of his axe. His attack was captured on video and there was no doubt about his guilt. But when a peaceful man engages in a pro-Trump rally inside the Capitol on January 6, and makes every apology imaginable afterward to the sentencing court, he receives a shocking 41-month prison sentence. He has also been held in jail all year without ever receiving a...

Image via GoFundMe According to an update on a GoFundMe page, 8-year-old Jackson Sparks died Tuesday afternoon from head injuries he sustained during the Waukesha Christmas parade attack. Jackson’s cousin Alyssa posted, “This afternoon, our dear Jackson has sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away.” The GoFundMe account was set up earlier this week after Jackson and his 12-year-old brother Tucker were both seriously injured after Darrell E. Brooks intentionally plowed his SUV through the Waukesha Christmas parade on Sunday. There are two men who are currently receiving more scorn from the left than anyone else. The first is the perpetual top of the list as Trump Derangement Syndrome has continued unabated even a year after the election was stolen from him. The other man at the top of the progressive-hate-list is Kyle Rittenhouse, a rightly exonerated and free man who leftists wish was currently behind bars or dead. Bring the two of them together, take a picture, and show it to anyone on the left. If they don’t faint immediately, their heads will explode within seconds. Guess who stopped...

"I stand by what the jury has concluded," resident Joe Biden told reporters on Friday after Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted of all the charges he faced for shooting three people, two fatally, during an August 2020 protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin. "The jury system works, and we have to abide by it." Later that day, by contrast, Biden said the verdict left him "feeling angry and concerned." The president's confusing attempt to straddle anger and acceptance reflected a sharp division of opinion about the outcome of Rittenhouse's trial -- a clash that was based mainly on legally irrelevant considerations. The unrest...

And a good pre-Thanksgiving to one and all. Last chance to post your favorite,famous,and/or fabulous Thanksgiving recipes!I thought today I’d simply post Rush’s annual Thanksgiving story. You know, the one Rush used to read from his book See, I Told You So every Thanksgiving Eve. He told the tale in an attempt to stem the tide of anti-capitalism, anti-western civilization, anti-American propaganda inculcating every aspect of culture, beginning with education before spilling over into the rest of society.I did note an increasing proliferation of “Rush’s Thanksgiving tale is a big fat lie!” stories as I was looking for a link....

One minute, Dan Cooper was a real man. Of course, “Dan Cooper” may not have been the name on his birth certificate, but his body was corporeal enough as he stood in a Boeing 727-100 on November 24, 1971. A stairway dangled dangerously from the belly of the near-empty airliner flying over southwestern Washington. No one knows whether he leapt confidently off those open steps from 10,000 feet in the air, or maybe closed his eyes and inched downward into the storm outside. But exit he did, and in that moment birthed something new: one of Washington’s biggest legends. Fifty...

Centrist Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) is calling on President Biden to restore the Keystone XL pipeline as gas prices across the country rise. "I continue to call on President Biden to responsibly increase energy production here at home and to reverse course to allow the Keystone XL pipeline to be built which would have provided our country with up to 900,000 barrels of oil per day from Canada, one of our closest allies," Manchin said in a Tuesday statement, according to the Gazette in Colorado Spring, Colorado. "To be clear, this is about American energy independence and the fact that...

Eyewitness reports in affidavit confirm attack was deliberate.. The affidavit against the Christmas parade killer states that Darrell Edward Brooks Jr drove in a zig zag pattern in order to “hit as many” people as possible, confirming yet again that the massacre was a deliberate attack. Ever since the incident, the media has tried to play down any possibility that the attack was motivated by Brooks’ extremist political views, his support for BLM or violent hatred for white people. This was exemplified in the hours after the tragedy, when numerous outlets falsely reported that Brooks was merely trying to flee...
