Four major labor unions reached an agreement with the city over its vaccine mandate for municipal workers on Thursday, Mayor Bill de Blasio said. The city successfully negotiated agreements with District Council 37, Teamsters Local 237, Uniformed Sanitationmen's Association Local 831 and SEIU Local 300, de Blasio said in a press release Thursday afternoon. “As part of this agreement, these unions have agreed to withdraw litigation filed last month which challenged the City’s right to implement the mandate,” the release said.
