WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said Thursday it has referred more than three dozen unruly passengers to the FBI for potential criminal prosecution amid a sharp rise in onboard incidents this year. The FAA and Justice Department said they had established an information-sharing protocol for the FAA to refer unruly passenger cases to the FBI for review. The Justice Department and FBI "are committed to prioritizing the review of the cases referred by the FAA and initiating criminal prosecution where appropriate," the agencies said.

I got a bunch of Tic Toks saying Biden has sent letters to farmers to destroy their crops. They are showing farmers cutting their crops down because Biden's FDA is paying 1 1/2 times the going price and threatening their subsidies if they don't do it. They are even pouring out oil on roads to waste the oil. We will be starving in 8 months. No wonder Bill Gates has been buying all the farm land. Has anyone else heard the same thing? I'm sure there are plenty of Freepers that live in Kansas.

If you or someone you know dies or gets injured from any of the three COVID-19 vaccines — which medical experts say is rare — legal compensation is available. But the process is different and generally more limited compared to other vaccines. Most routine vaccinations in the U.S., including the measles, hepatitis, flu, Tdap and polio shots, are covered by the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP), which was created by the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 following several lawsuits against vaccine manufacturers and health care providers. The VCIP covers injury-related expenses for diagnosis, medical care and rehabilitation...

The White House on Thursday said President Biden is "perfectly comfortable" with the Department of Justice (DOJ) settling with illegal migrants separated from their families under the Trump administration. White House deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre made the comment in response to Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy after Biden Wednesday told Doocy that reports of his administration offering up to $450,000 to illegal migrants are "garbage" and "not gonna happen." BIDEN ADMINISTRATION DEBATES PAYING ‘HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS’ TO FAMILIES SEPARATED AT THE BORDER During the Thursday briefing, Doocy asked Jean-Pierre to address a statement from ACLU Executive Director...

Explanation: Dwarf galaxies NGC 147 (left) and NGC 185 stand side by side in this sharp telescopic portrait. The two are not-often-imaged satellites of M31, the great spiral Andromeda Galaxy, some 2.5 million light-years away. Their separation on the sky, less than one degree across a pretty field of view, translates to only about 35 thousand light-years at Andromeda's distance, but Andromeda itself is found well outside this frame. Brighter and more famous satellite galaxies of Andromeda, M32 and M110, are seen closer to the great spiral. NGC 147 and NGC 185 have been identified as binary galaxies, forming a...

Now, that you’re gone Joe, I just wanted to say thanks for everything you’ve done for the country. You were around a long time, all the way back to 1775. You waged a lot of battles, fought plenty of bad guys and helped bring down evil empires. You crossed the Delaware with Washington, trudged endlessly through the steaming jungles of the South Pacific, climbed Pointe du Hoc to save the world and battled sandstorms and Jihadis from the 73 Easting to Tal Afar. As General MacArthur said so eloquently, “From one end of the world to another, you drained deep...

You don't need a big showy celestial event like an eclipse to have a magical moment with the night sky. Sometimes, the subtler experiences are just as moving. Head out in the evening on Sunday, Nov. 7 to witness the scenic crescent moon posing with Venus nearby. While Sunday will see the moon and Venus at their snuggliest, you'll have an extended window for some great planet-spotting opportunities. "From Nov. 6th through the 11th, watch the moon glide past Venus, Saturn, and Jupiter after sunset in the south/southwest," NASA said. Jupiter and Saturn will appear to move closer to Venus...

The executive director of an organization dedicated to helping LGBT individuals in dangerous states told France24 in an interview published Tuesday that the Taliban had organized a “kill list” of suspected LGBT people in Afghanistan and is widely distributing it among its jihadis in an attempt to execute all those identified. The Taliban is a radical Sunni Islamist organization that considers gay identity haram, or an affront to its interpretation of Islam. Jihadists in nearly all terrorist organizations have engaged in brutal killings of people suspected of being gay or lesbian; some jihadists support forcing gay people into gender reassignment...

---SNIP--- The cartels are taking advantage of law enforcement weaknesses and policy failures to smuggle record amounts of the lethal drug into the United States, according to interviews with half a dozen current and former drug and immigration agents. While a lack of screening technology to find contraband at ports of entry and an inept U.S-Mexico campaign to cripple the cartels are longstanding issues, there’s also a new one: the flood of migrants across the border that the Biden administration has done little to stop. Former law enforcement officials say the cartels are orchestrating the surge, overwhelming the capacity of...

Anyone can keep his joy when he’s riding high in the Holy Ghost, not being tried or tempted. God wants us to keep ourselves in his love at all times, especially in our temptations. The apostle John tells us very simply how we can keep ourselves in God’s love: “we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him” (1 John 4:16, NKJV). The word ‘dwell’ here means “to stay in a state of expectancy.” In other words, God wants us to...

The White House is confident that it can beat any Republican challenges to its new workplace vaccine mandate and claimed Thursday the GOP is trying to block the Biden administration from saving lives. 'The question that we always have is and that we ask to the Republicans is why are they getting in the way?' Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said during Thursday's White House press briefing. 'Why are they getting in the way of trying to protect and save lives? That's all we're trying to do,' she added.

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), a staunch critic of former President Donald Trump who recently announced he would not seek reelection to Congress, has not ruled out launching a long-shot campaign for the White House in 2024. In a Thursday interview with CNN, Kinzinger said he is considering potential bids for the U.S. Senate in Illinois or the governor’s mansion. The anti-MAGA lawmaker added that he “definitely” isn’t ruling out a 2024 campaign for the highest office in the land. “The key is, how do we restore the honor of the party in the country?” he asked. Kinzinger was one of...

“Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom” (James 3:13). Wisdom teaches us how to handle adversity. In his wonderful commentary on the book of James, Robert Johnstone wrote the following about meekness: That “the meek” should “inherit the earth”—that they bear wrongs, and exemplify the love which “seeketh not her own”—to a world that believes in high-handedness and self-assertion, and pushing the weakest to the wall, a statement like this of the Lord from Heaven cannot but appear an utter paradox. The man of the world...

This is the moment Las Vegas Raiders' star Henry Ruggs sobbed on the ground after crashing his Corvette into a woman's SUV at 156mph as she perished in a huge fireball. Ruggs, 22, was seen apparently passing in and out of consciousness and holding his girlfriend Rudy Washington in the aftermath of Tuesday night's Sin City smash. The AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG), the largest global HIV research network, which recently expanded its focus to include evaluating outpatient treatment for COVID-19, today announced the launch of A5404, a clinical trial studying how prior infection with SARS-CoV-2 and receiving either an investigational COVID-19 therapy or placebo/active comparator affects participants’ immune responses to mRNA COVID-19 vaccines. A5404 is a sub-study of the ACTIV-2 Outpatient Monoclonal Antibodies and Other Therapies Trial (ACTG A5401), which is evaluating multiple investigational agents to treat early, symptomatic COVID-19 in non-hospitalized individuals. “A5404 provides us with an important opportunity to gain insights into potentially different...

While Democrats try to dig out from their electoral disaster on Tuesday, Morning Joe has devised an explanation for Biden's unpopularity, which dragged Dems down across the country: it's Trump's fault! As Mika Brzezinski put it on Thursday: "This administration is grappling with the problems that it adopted from the last administration, these problems are in some ways either still existing, or the after-effects of these problems: supply-chain shortages, economic issues are still hitting us. And now it’s actually hurting the current administration." Get the rest of the story and view the video here.

Natalie Wood’s 1981 drowning death has remained one of Hollywood’s great mysteries for four decades. But her sister Lana Wood believes there is one person to blame for the “West Side Story” actress’ death: Natalie’s husband, Robert Wagner. “I don’t believe it was premeditated,” Lana, 75, told The Post. “But that doesn’t mean I don’t think he did it: Of course he did!” Now, she has written “Little Sister: My Investigation into the Mysterious Death of Natalie Wood” (Dey Street Books), out Tuesday. The book — part memoir, part true-crime investigation using new evidence dug up by homicide detectives —...

Former Vice President Al Gore on Thursday sounded off on the technology created by the Climate TRACE coalition to monitor greenhouse gas emissions. Gore, a long-time climate change activist, told MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” that the technology would be able to track the “identities” of those “responsible” for emitting greenhouse gases. He advised that the government or “civil society activists” would then be able to hold them accountable. “We get data consistently from 300 existing satellites, more than 11,000 ground-based, air-based, sea-based sensors, multiple internet data streams and using artificial intelligence,” Gore outlined. “All that information is combined, visible light,...
