Natalie Wood’s 1981 drowning death has remained one of Hollywood’s great mysteries for four decades.
But her sister Lana Wood believes there is one person to blame for the “West Side Story” actress’ death: Natalie’s husband, Robert Wagner.
“I don’t believe it was premeditated,” Lana, 75, told The Post. “But that doesn’t mean I don’t think he did it: Of course he did!”
Now, she has written “Little Sister: My Investigation into the Mysterious Death of Natalie Wood” (Dey Street Books), out Tuesday. The book — part memoir, part true-crime investigation using new evidence dug up by homicide detectives — aims to dispel the myths and illuminate the facts surrounding Natalie’s tragic death.

It was a crime against humanity...
Even if she drowned accidently...
Gibbs needs to have a Hart to Hart talk with Senior.
Who knows what happened that night? But something just tells me not to trust Robert Wagner’s account of it.
Exploiting her sister’s death for lucre always reflects well on a person.
That would be a Switch.
Obviously it was Christopher Walken, why can’t people see that? He was on the boat when she died.
She might float a little higher, though
FTA: Lana also alleges that actor Kirk Douglas sexually assaulted a teenage Natalie — confirming one of Hollywood’s oldest rumors.
In a John Wayne film “In Harm’s Way” his character raped a teenage nurse who later kills herself. Maybe he used his experience with Natalie as inspiration.
It's also a way to keep the memory of her sister alive, and to potentially get some peace if she believes Wagner did it and never owned up to it.
All we know for sure is a lot of alcohol was involved and who knows what really happened.
Bingo
First LawBut we are not. They were both drinking, they get into an argument and she storms out of the cabin. Good ole RJ does not chase after her. With Natalie's hot headstrong Russian temper he had long since learned to let her go. Natalie attempts to leave the boat and slips into the water.A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
Robert Wagner would only be guilty of inaction which is not a crime for we humans. Cold blooded if he knew she was in the water but not a crime, especially if he was drunk too.
What money is she getting out of it?
very interesting the part about catching Wagner in a compromising position with his Butler as the cause of their divorce during their 1st marriage.
I was told that Wagner is gay and this was the cause of the divorce.
The fight in the boat was over her rediscovery that he was continuing a gay lifestyle. You can guess with who.
No idea if this is true but this “butler” story fits with it.
Supposedly Wagner lived a promiscuous gay lifestyle. Once again, just a story I heard no idea if it’s true.
I often wondered if she was having an affair with CW.
