House Speaker Nancy Pelosi apparently found herself persona non grata at a meeting of the Congressional Progressive Caucus on Thursday as she attempted to persuade left wing Democrats to sign off on bipartisan infrastructure legislation. Multiple sources confirmed to The Uprising that Pelosi was “kicked out” of the meeting by Progressive Caucus Chairwoman Pramila Jayapal. “She got kicked out and said she was leaving anyway,” a Democratic staffer, who was granted anonymity to discuss the confidential meeting, said of Pelosi. Spokespeople for Pelosi and Jayapal did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Pelosi was observed entering the meeting and...

Democrats on the House Oversight and Reform Committee and its subcommittee on the environment held a hearing on Thursday to grill the CEOs of top U.S. fossil fuel companies, calling it a historic event, to call out the businesses for lying to the American people about the existential threat of climate change. But the one Republican witness on the panel perhaps best summed up what is at stake when it comes to the left’s efforts to make climate change more important than American workers and the nation’s economy.

Solar particles blasted out in association with the flare could hit Earth tomorrow (Oct. 29). A major solar flare erupted from the sun on Thursday (Oct. 28) in the strongest storm yet of our star's current weather cycle. The sun fired off an X1-class solar flare, its most powerful kind of flare, at 11:17 a.m. EDT (1517 GMT), according to an alert from the U.S. Space Weather Prediction Group, which tracks space weather events. The group warned that the eruption could spawn a wide-area radio communications blackout for high-frequency signals for about an hour. "Area of impact consists of large...

“Spending is the real problem,” said the world’s richest man when he dismantled the logic behind the Democratic Party’s latest class warfare tax-the-rich scheme. Tesla co-founder and CEO Elon Musk took to Twitter in response to a Washington Post story promoting the Democrat tax plan, which featured him as the cover photo. The Post said the proposal “would raise billions of dollars from a handful of the richest Americans, attempting to create perhaps the most narrowly focused tax policy in postwar history.” Post NASA and space industry reporter Christian Davenport seemingly celebrated how the “$50 billion” Musk would pay in...

An Idaho company that successfully brought genetically modified potatoes to the market announced an agreement Thursday to help a Watsonville-based plant breeding company grow strawberries they say will stay fresh longer and have a longer growing season. J.R. Simplot Company and Plant Sciences Inc., both privately-held companies, said they expect to launch the first commercially available, gene-edited strawberries within a few years. U.S. growers produced $2.2 billion in strawberries in 2020, mostly in California, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. But consumers discarded an estimated 35% of the crop due to spoilage. Simplot and Plant Sciences officials said genetically...

A father of three, Lonsdale is a regular critic of "woke" politics. He is a longtime associate of Peter Thiel, the powerful conservative billionaire. these confusing times, many people are rightfully turning to the Torah for clarity and guidance. Unfortunately, it is easy for those with ulterior motives to cherry-pick Torah sources, take them out of context, misinterpret them, and misapply them to suit their agenda. It is therefore necessary to elucidate the 15 main religious reasons that it is forbidden according to the Torah to take the so-called “Covid-19 vaccines”. 1. The Torah commands us in Devarim 4:15 to exceedingly guard our lives. Ironically, this is the main source for those who claim we are obligated to take these injections. In reality, this...

The Biden administration is reportedly considering paying out hundreds of thousands of dollars to migrant families separated at the southern border during the Trump administration, about $1 billion in total. Officials from the departments of Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, and Justice have proposed paying each person $450,000, or nearly $1 million per two-person family, to settle claims about the lasting traumatic and psychological effects of being torn apart as a result of former President Donald Trump’s zero-tolerance policy, the Wall Street Journal reported Thursday afternoon.

President Biden climate and social services bill is expected to include $150 billion for affordable housing creation and financial assistance, elating supporters who feared it would be cut from the package. The White House on Thursday released a framework for Biden’s “Build Back Better Act,” the roughly $1.75 trillion budget reconciliation package, that included billions of dollars meant to put 1 million affordable homes on the market and help thousands of Americans find stable housing. The housing component was cut down significantly from the $327 billion Democrats initially sought. Even so, the bill would still spend more than three times...

Buried on Page 14 in the Pfizer paperwork submitted to the FDA for the Covid vaccine for children is this disturbing nugget. Vaccine formulation Authorization is being requested for a modified formulation of the Pfizer‑BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine. Each dose of this formulation contains 10 μg of a nucleoside-modified messenger RNA (mRNA) encoding the viral spike (S) glycoprotein of SARS-CoV-2 that is formulated in lipid particles and supplied as a frozen suspension in multiple dose vials. To provide a vaccine with an improved stability profile, the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine for use in children 5-11 years of age uses tromethamine (Tris) buffer...

"The U.S. is in talks to offer immigrant families separated at the border in 2018 about $450,000 a person in compensation" -WSJ Note this is per person. If four kids got separated from two parents, that's a $2.7 million dollar payment to that one illegal immigrant family alone. So US taxpayers will now be showering money on illegal immigrants for attempting to use their children as pawns. Also note that Biden himself is still "separating families at the border." Because you have to. He's separating fewer families because he's using secret darkflights to fly illegal immigrants into the heartland, but...

I would like to apprise you of some important changes coming to our school. I am making these changes because I am convinced that most of the ideas that have dominated public education in America have worked against you, against your teachers and against our country. First, this school will...
