Doctors employed by hospitals are now hearing, "Your arm or your job." We are living in a game come to life. As with any game, there are rules. But sometimes in life, if you want to survive, you learn how to game the game. We no longer live in your grandfather's world, where medical care was physician-directed. Increasingly, control is in the hands of an opposition force comprising hospital administrators, insurance executives, lawyers, and elected and unelected government officials. Physicians are now mostly cogs on the medical wheel, where the cogs are rapidly being worn out. On top of Medicare...

Recently, The Washington Post published a news article, "Biden's critics hurl increasingly vulgar taunts," exploring what the paper says is a growing phenomenon of people around the country directing raw insults at the president. As an example, the paper pointed to resident Joe Biden's recent visit to his hometown of Scranton, Pennsylvania, where a woman stood on the street with a sign that said, "F--- Joe Biden." At other times, Biden detractors say simply, "FJB," which stands for you-know-what. The Post also noted the "Let's go Brandon" phenomenon. If anyone doesn't know what that is, it stemmed from an NBC...

When it comes to transgenderism, our medical establishment ignores all the rules it normally applies to other ailments that are trendy among teens. How far has the influence of “influencers” gone? Very far gone, it seems. Recently a new phenomenon has cropped up, that of people—mostly teen girls—developing various tics akin to Tourette’s Syndrome after watching people on Tik Tok who actually have (or claim to have) the malady. Interestingly, the reaction to the situation has been surprisingly reasonable and very unlike the reaction to another trend that is also quite possibly linked to social media: the recent surge in...

A report from abroad: Knowledgeable British and Europeans not only do not think America is back, they think it has gone mad. After three weeks in Europe and extensive discussions with dozens of well-informed and highly placed individuals from most of the principal Western European countries, including leading members of the British government, I have the unpleasant duty of reporting complete incomprehension and incredulity at what Joe Biden and his collaborators encapsulate in the peppy but misleading phrase, “We’re back.” As one eminent elected British government official put it, “They are not back in any conventional sense of that word. We...

Today is day #279 of Democrats deliberately flooding America with non-Americans to intentionally eradicate American culture. That sentence is worth unpacking a little. Some might respond: “Why are you so against immigration? It isn’t ‘deliberate.’ Why would they do this on purpose? Even if it is on purpose, what can we do about it?” First, we should correct some of the lies and deliberate mischaracterizations Democrats use to confuse things. They accuse us of being “anti-immigration.” Immigration can be a wonderful thing. We all agree on that. The issue is legal versus illegal immigration. Period. Full stop. Democrats deliberately confuse...

Democrats say resident Joe Biden won "a strong mandate." His government can do all sorts of good things! I don't believe he has a mandate, but thanks to the selfishness of former President Donald Trump, Democrats control Congress, and that may give them power to shove their worst ideas down our throats. Those include: No. 1: Hate speech laws. No. 2: Expanding the Supreme Court. No. 3: Gun control. No. 4: Spending much more. Unfortunately, they don't seem to have noticed that these "reforms" were just tried in a country near us. My new video reveals how they worked out...

The top Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee plans to blast Attorney General Merrick Garland over his controversial school boards memo and will critique him over his handling of the Hunter Biden investigation. “In less than a year the Department has moved as far left as it can go,” Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa will say Wednesday. “You’ve politicized the Department in ways it shouldn’t be."

@ChadPergram From colleague Paul Steinhauser. McConnell endorses Herschel Walker for Senate. McConnell: “Herschel is the only one who can unite the party, defeat Senator Warnock, and help us take back the Senate. I look forward to working with Herschel in Washington to get the job done.”

I never wear clothes with logos on them. However, when I saw that I could buy a “Let’s Go Brandon” t-shirt for only $20, I couldn’t resist. Today, when I went to my local outlet mall and then to Costco, I wore that shirt. I live in the Southeast, in an area with a sizeable Black population and a lot of Democrats. Still, there are conservatives here so I expected some recognition for the shirt. What I didn’t expect was the happiness with which my shirt would be greeted. At the outlet mall, a young Black woman, maybe in her...

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) on Tuesday criticized a proposal to increase the amount of information the IRS receives about bank accounts, saying he thinks it is unlikely to be included in Democrats' social spending package. "I think that one's going to be gone," Manchin said at an event hosted by The Economic Club of Washington, D.C. Democrats are considering the IRS bank-reporting proposal as a way to raise revenue to finance their social spending measure. It would require banks to report to the IRS the total amount of money that came in and out of an account during a year....

Evil may attack us, but sometimes it takes a pause, lulling us into complacency before striking with greater force. After Germany rolled over Poland in 1939, inflicting half a million casualties in one week, Europe went strangely quiet for a six-month period, ironically dubbed the “Phoney War.” Hitler had been considered by many to be nothing more than a vulgar barking dog until Poland was crushed by the German military machine, which was not even supposed to exist according to the terms of the 1918 Armistice. But the Blitzkrieg, the lightning strike on Poland, put the world on notice: the...

In case you’ve not heard, the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) has mobilized against a new and unprecedented “threat” of “criminal conduct” facing the nation. So grave is this menace that the FBI has marshaled the National Threat Operations Center (NTOC), the DOJ’s Criminal Division, National Security Division, Civil Rights Division, the Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys, the FBI, the Community Relations Service, and the Office of Justice Programs. What’s provoked such a massive federal response? Is it the mass infiltration of our southern borders, Cartel criminal enterprises, child-sex traffickers, Antifa-inspired riots in our inner cities, or the biggest...

Our current secretary of the Treasury, Janet Yellen, is busy trying to find a way to tax wealth without calling it taxing wealth. She has eyes on taxing unrealized capital gains. What this means simply is taxing people for money they have not earned or received. That's it in a nutshell. That definition should leave even those who have never had a course in accounting or finance shaken. Not only is Janet Yellen considering this, but the Democrat party is on board as well. Democrats claim that it is needed in order to pay for their agenda. You know —...

China has restricted the construction of extremely tall skyscrapers in smaller cities as part of a crackdown on wasteful vanity projects by local governments. Without special approval, cities with populations of less than 3 million must not build skyscrapers taller than 150m, and cities with larger populations must not construct buildings higher than 250m, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development said on Tuesday (Oct 26). SNIP While China acknowledges that high-rise buildings promote more intensive use of land resources, it is increasingly concerned that local officials are blindly pursuing construction with little attention to practicality and safety.

Taiwan has “no right to join the United Nations”, a Beijing official said Wednesday, after US Secretary of State Antony Blinken urged greater inclusion of the self-governing island in UN institutions. The response came after Blinken – in a statement marking 50 years since the UN General Assembly voted to seat Beijing and boot out Taipei – regretted that Taiwan had increasingly been excluded on the world stage. “The UN is an international governmental organisation composed of sovereign states,” said Ma Xiaoguang, spokesman for the Taiwan Affairs Office in Beijing at a regular briefing, adding: “Taiwan is a part of...

A Republican lawmaker this week introduced a measure to force all federal agencies to relocate out of the Washington, D.C., area, saying it would help incorporate more perspectives into federal policymaking. The 2021 Drain the Swamp Act (H.R. 5712), put forward by Rep. Warren Davidson, R-Ohio, would require all federal agencies to submit a plan within one year to move their headquarters out of Washington. The Office of Management and Budget and General Services Administration would have to approve the plans, which would be implemented by September 2026. Under the new restrictions, only 10% of an agency's workforce could remain...

BILLINGS, Mont. -- President Joe Biden's administration announced Tuesday plans to cancel two environmental rollbacks under former President Donald Trump that limited habitat protections for imperiled plants and wildlife. The proposal to drop the two Trump-era rules by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and National Marine Fisheries Service is part of a broad effort by the Biden administration to undo regulations that Democrats and wildlife advocates say favored industry over the environment.... ...The rule changes under Trump were finalized during his last weeks in office, meaning they've had little time to make a significant impact... One allows the government...
