Watching the ongoing fiasco in Afghanistan, it’s hard to escape the idea that at least some people in the Biden administration are just fine with what is happening. The alternative is to think that they’re the most abjectly incompetent assemblage of “experts” in the history of mankind. While that is entirely possible, the alternative, that the Taliban are regarded more sympathetically in the capitals of Europe and North America than is generally assumed, cannot be discounted. And at a Wednesday press conference, Maryam Monsef, Canada’s minister for women and gender equality, referred to the Taliban as “our brothers.” Slip of...

A Texas woman is suing Starbucks over first-degree burns she suffered, claiming she was given the wrong coffee and then spilled it on herself when she gave it back, court papers say. Mary Simms ordered some joe on April 14 from a Starbucks drive-thru in Tomball, Texas, according to the suit filed in Harris County, Texas. The employee informed Simms that she was given the wrong drink and when Simms stopped her car and handed back the coffee, the lid came off and the coffee spilled on Simms’ lap. “As a result of the spill, [Simms] sustained first and second-degree...

You may have heard that the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 shot received FDA approval this past Monday. Politicians, national health officials, and journalists are breathless with excitement about how this approval will finally induce the remaining “vaccine-hesitant” into stepping forward to receive their jab. The FDA even has a press release on their website about it.There’s just one problem. If you read the actual letters that the FDA sent to Pfizer on August 23, 2021, you’ll see the FDA did no such thing. In the sense that the term ‘FDA approval’ is generally understood, this drug is NOT approved by the FDA. It...

State and local programs have spent more than $5.1 billion to support the housing stability of vulnerable renters out of the $25 billion allocated under the first round of ERA (ERA1). Since January, state and local programs have made about 1 million payments benefitting households at risk of eviction. In July alone, more than 340,000 households received nearly $1.7 billion in rental and utilities assistance, a roughly 15% increase in households served compared to June, and more than double the number of households served in May. The latest data also demonstrates that ERA funds reached the lowest income tenants, with...

Taliban Secures World’s Largest Lithium Deposits After US Withdrawal From Afghanistan It’s been more than a decade since we penned “The US “Discovers” Nearly $1 Trillion In Mineral Deposits In Afghanistan” in which we highlighted the colossal untapped mineral deposits that reside in Afghanistan. President Joe Biden’s decision to rapidly and completely withdraw from Afghanistan makes even less strategic sense if readers go back to our 2010 post where we quoted “Confessions of an Economic Hit Man: Part 2, the 21st Century paradigm”? Which said, “Yet the American officials also recognize that the mineral discoveries will almost certainly have a...

UPDATE: Fox News reports that at least three U.S. troops have been injured in the attack at the Abbey Gate. Jennifer Griffin reports that this is a “complex attack” including both explosives and a gunfight. Numerous news outlets are reporting that there has been an explosion outside the Abbey Gate at Hamid Karzai International Airport (HKIA) in Kabul, Afghanistan. Reports indicate it may be a mix of a suiciding bomb and improvised explosive device (IED) attack. The threat of terrorist attacks at the besieged airport has been all too real since Kabul fell to the Taliban last weekend. The U.S....

“I’m what Obama should’ve been in 2008,” Mr. Hawkins told The Washington Times. “He could’ve spoken a message of healing and unity. But, he used some of that same rhetoric that pushed everybody back.” He’s running in a longtime Democratic district. Despite the long odds of a Republican flipping the seat, Mr. Hawkins said he can bust apart the messaging the Democratic Party has used to make California a stronghold for the party. “I think California is a purple state,” Mr. Hawkins said. “I think that just over the years, the Democratic Party has done a really good job of...

The companies did not disclose a price for the deal, but a person familiar with the matter said Politico sold for about $1 billion. The acquisition grows the publishing group’s portfolio in the U.S. further, adding to its ownership of Insider and Morning Brew. “Right now, I’m talking to a whistleblower who has yet to be named, who is an insider at Pfizer, who called and was crying and said that 45,000 number I have documentation that I haven’t seen yet, so at this point in time, it’s still hearsay, that I have documentation that that number is closer to 200,000 people who have died within a week or less of getting one of the shots, and I haven’t seen it yet, so at this point in — Sherri Tenpenny, M.D.

The video I offer is very graphic, but senses need to be offended so that Americans can see the atrocities the current administration is responsible for. What you will see is being repeated hundreds and thousands of times all across Afghanistan as the Taliban eliminates any and all who would dare side with their enemy in their jihadist war against the West. Be ready for the worst case scenario in the coming Months, where there could be 2 to 3 million people slaughtered as the Taliban uses the computers left behind by Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and the Democrats...

A suicide bomber has attacked Kabul airport, just hours after officials warned of an 'imminent' ISIS bomb threat, killing at least 13 people and injuring at least three US troops. The blast was outside The Baron Hotel, at the Abbey Gate of Kabul airport. Westerners were staying in the hotel before their evacuation flights. At least three US troops were injured. It's unclear if any Americans were killed in the explosion but harrowing scenes show bloodied Afghans being removed from the scene on wheelchairs. One witness reported that a baby was among those killed. The attack came just hours after...

Rapper Kanye West is many, many, many things, but a conformist he most certainly is not. The entertainer is holding a second listening party for his forthcoming album, "Donda," named for his late mother, and while the music world is mostly abuzz with the apparent delay of the album's formal release, the event has captured headlines for a different reason. And no, it’s not the reported replica of his childhood home that’s been constructed in Chicago’s Soldier Field for the occasion, although that’s got tongues wagging, too, as the New York Post reported. The venue will not be requiring fans...
