In a leaked report, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention made a surprising claim about the delta variant of the coronavirus: It "is as transmissible as: - Chicken Pox," the agency wrote in a slideshow presentation leaked to The Washington Post on July 26. Chickenpox is one of the most contagious viruses known. Each individual can spread the virus to as many as "90% of the people close to that person," the CDC reports. Is the delta variant that contagious as well? The short answer is no, says evolutionary biologist and biostatistician Tom Wenseleers at the University of Leuven...

A New Jersey inmate who was freed early because of the COVID-19 pandemic has been charged with murdering a teenager just two days after his release. Jerry Crawford, 25, was serving time for burglary when he was let out on “public health emergency credits” to parole supervision on Nov. 4, prison officials confirmed to NJ.com Wednesday. He has since been charged with the murder of Davion Scarbrough, 18, who was gunned down in Bridgeton on Nov. 6 — just two days after Crawford got out of South Woods State Prison, the outlet said. He was charged alongside Yusuf Waites —...

The Delta variant has changed the equation for achieving herd immunity, the developer of the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine has said. Speaking at a UK parliamentary meeting on Tuesday, Sir Andrew Pollard, a professor of pediatric infection and immunity at the University of Oxford, said that achieving herd immunity is "not a possibility" now that the Delta variant is circulating. "We know very clearly with coronavirus that this current variant, the Delta variant, will still infect people who have been vaccinated, and that does mean that anyone who's still unvaccinated, at some point, will meet the virus," Pollard said. He said it...

Last night Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) spoke at an event in Chicago. During questions and answers Crenshaw told supporters there was no voter fraud in the 2020 election adding, “Don’t kid yourself into believing that’s why we lost. It’s not. I’ll tell you openly.” At that point conservative activist Bobby Piton jumped in to challenge Crenshaw. “You’re wrong. Dan Crenshaw: “I’m not wrong.” Bobby Piton: “There is plenty of proof. I have proof in Arizona…” Dan Crenshaw: Yeah, yeah. You told me you did the Maricopa. How did that turn out?” Crenshaw obviously does not know or care that the...

The growth in the American population over the last decade was driven entirely by minority communities, according to new data released Thursday by the U.S. Census Bureau, as the number of white Americans declined for the first time since the nation's founding. Non-Hispanic whites make up just under 58 percent of the American population, the first time since the Census was first conducted that they have fallen under the 60 percent mark. By contrast, the 2000 Census showed non-Hispanic whites made up just over 69 percent of the population, and 63.7 percent in 2010. Hispanic or Latino Americans have grown...

Scriptural law teaches that a thing shall be established by two or more witnesses; thus, often we find many things reoccurring throughout the Bible to establish the truth, though often in different ways. Pharaoh was given two different dreams foretelling of one event as a conformation that the thing was certain and surely going to come to pass. Wherefore, we also are given a cloud many of witnesses whereby we can be sure and have confidence in our faith of those things which are to be believed. "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of...

I ask this question "Who owns the source code?" Typically a state government agency contracts non-governmental companies to write specific software based on need. For instance, Dominion. From my experience, that state would own the source code since the state is paying for it, and can with their technical staff modify if needed. Why don't any states own the Dominion software?

Well, it appears that those who promoted lockdowns rather than early outpatient treatment as the solution for COVID are once against benefiting from a phenomenon that they likely caused, now using it to falsely instill more panic about children being in danger from COVID. Isn't it too convenient? Right when schools are slated to start again, the proponents of lockdowns and masks seem to have finally gotten traction on a narrative of children filling up the hospitals with COVID — a phenomenon not seen in any other country. As Alasdair Munro, a pediatric infectious disease doctor in the U.K. observed...

Anthony Fauci the nation’s top infectious disease expert, said on Thursday that “inevitably” everyone will need booster shots for the COVID-19 vaccine eventually because like any vaccine, its protection won’t be “indefinite.” NBC News’ Craig Melvin asked Fauci on “Today” whether it’s “inevitable” that “in the not too distant future everyone is going to need a booster shot,” as the debate over the necessity of third shots has ramped up. President Biden’s chief medical adviser at first emphasized that immunocompromised people “never really got a good response” from the vaccine to more robustly protect them from COVID-19.

Biles parroted the slogan 'your body, your choice,' with a series of eye-roll emojis responding to those who 'gonna say ‘just put it up for adoption’.'The Simone Biles news cycle seems to have come to a disappointing end. In the beginning, she entered the Olympics as America’s gymnast champion. Then, out of the blue, she removed herself from the team competition as well as the all-around individual competition. This sparked controversy over whether she was a hero modeling good mental health or a selfish quitter. For all that, she did eventually compete once more on the balance beam to win bronze...

Black Lives Matter protesters rallied outside Fox News' headquarters in New York City on Wednesday to burn not just the American flag but also a picture of Fox News host Tucker Carlson. The small crowd carried pictures of other hosts, such as Laura Ingraham and Sean Hannity, while shouting, "You're full of lies, you're all racist, you're Nazis, you're zionists, you're KKK, Proud Boys!" "Black people are dying," someone also shouted. On the pictures of the Fox News talent, protesters had written "Liar." In response to their actions, Carlson told Townhall, "I'm proud to be burned with the flag." Other...

I've seen a lot of misunderstanding about what constitutes a "religious" exemption for the purposes of a work-related vaccine mandate. I finally registered after years of just browsing and reading to share this. Please review this information and help educate others! A religious exemption extends to a deeply held and sincere spiritual, ethical, or moral belief. That means that a strong spiritual belief, whether from within an organized and recognized religion or one that is formed without an organized and recognized religion can qualify. Additionally, moral or ethical beliefs qualify if held and believed with the strength of what one...

Americans are growing angrier by the day in a way different from prior sagebrush revolts such as the 1960s Silent Majority or Tea Party furor of over a decade ago. The rage at the current status quo this time is not just fueled by conservatives. For the first time in their lives, all Americans of all classes and races are starting to fear a self-created apocalypse that threatens their families’ safety and the American way of life. The border is not just porous as in the pre-Trump past. It is nonexistent. Some 2 million people may cross illegally in the...

The Mesa County Clerk's Office allowed an unauthorized person into sensitive areas where its election equipment is located, had turned off surveillance cameras that were supposed to be monitoring those machines and failed to show proper chain of custody after new software was installed, The Daily Sentinel has learned. Those are the conclusions that the Secretary of State's office just announced today, prompting Secretary of State Jena Griswold to officially decertify all of the county's election equipment. ...... Snip...... The order says that Peters or someone else in her office order that those cameras be turned off before that installation...
