Breaking! Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold Decertifies Mesa County Election Equipment
The Daily Sentinel ^ | August 12, 2021 | Charles Ashbey

Posted on 08/12/2021 10:41:47 AM PDT by White Lives Matter

The Mesa County Clerk's Office allowed an unauthorized person into sensitive areas where its election equipment is located, had turned off surveillance cameras that were supposed to be monitoring those machines and failed to show proper chain of custody after new software was installed, The Daily Sentinel has learned.

Those are the conclusions that the Secretary of State's office just announced today, prompting Secretary of State Jena Griswold to officially decertify all of the county's election equipment.

...... Snip......

The order says that Peters or someone else in her office order that those cameras be turned off before that installation occurred. They were not reactivated until sometime in August, "which is inconsistent with the department's understanding of the normal course of business practice in Mesa County."

The order also says that Peters' office falsely told Secretary of State personnel that one of the people who attended that May 25 installation was an employee of the clerk's office when there is no evidence to show that he was.

Allowing an unauthorized person such access could lead to a felony criminal charge.

Peters was not available to comment because she is in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, attending an event sponsored by My Pillow guy Mike Lindell, which is attempting to show proof that the 2020 general election was stolen from former President Donald Trump.

To date, that event, which is in its third and final day, has revealed no such proof, despite claims made there that some Mesa County election logs and other information was deleted or altered.

Well, the marching orders have been given to spooked Jena Griswold and someone is most likely going to lose their job and go to jail in the county clerk's office.

"Those machines clearly killed themselves..."

Of course they should be decertified. SOS and DA invaded the office and had unlimited, unsupervised time with the equipment. Who would trust it after that?

Lindell is right on top of the target, and set to put ordnance straight down the chimney.

If he weren’t, this would not be happening.

She is in the process of creating a scapegoat out of the clerk who attended the symposium for election fraud. It’s really that simple.

Leftest losers LOVE money and cheat to get it all the time. So, when enough money is offered to a bird to sing this house of cards will fall.

Maybe she might as well go ahead and decertify EVERY voting machine statewide.

She may have unwittingly stepped into a minefield. This could call into question the validity of the entire CO election system and the 2020 election in particular.

Good woork, gal.

Does that clear them now to destroy the machines?

Exactly. Back to paper ballots. The best thing that could happen.

The spirit of fraud has overtaken most of our higher levels of government.

But not all.

They cannot stop the spirit of justice.

Sounds like the typical MO of blaming someone for what they did to cover up their own misdeeds during the election.

Griswold is literally trying to create a false narrative that Peters was somehow responsible for authorizing the “upgrade” to the Mesa Country machines by Dominion. The evidence shows the Dominion employee used passwords and fobs known only to the company to access the machines where they reformatted and repartitioned the hard drive. They then installed a completely new image of the OS and Dominion software on the machine thus destroying all the event logs and configuration changes that had been captured during the the election as required by law. This was intentional destruction of federally required records and is a felony.

Griswold’s office are the people responsible for contracting with and scheduling any Dominion vendor upgrades so this is a classic attempt to point a finger at someone else to deflect their own obvious guilt.

if the county clerk did actually “allow an unauthorized person into sensitive areas where its election equipment is located, had turned off surveillance cameras that were supposed to be monitoring those machines and failed to show proper chain of custody after new software was installed” then I hardly think it is scapegoating. I don’t care who does those things — they all smack of crooked elections.

The way that article is written seems to imply Peters is the one at fault.
I highly doubt that.
Basically what was shown was that information was deleted during that "upgrade", in violation of law.
Peters gut instinct to image capture before the "upgrade" was a good one.

According to Gateway Pundit she is the one who leaked the hard drives (or copies of) of election servers to Ron Watkins in May of 2021. It's not clear whether she let someone in the office to do it or she did it herself. I'm not clear on what she's whistle-blowing about, nor am I clear whether this is a felony. But if someone unauthorized was let in to do anything with the servers, then decertification is certainly justified regardless of whether to SoS is a leftist POS.
