When Ellis said that the book’s series of events were accurate, that she had proof,...

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell on Tuesday urged more Americans to get the coronavirus vaccine, as hesitancy toward the shots remains persistent among Republicans and some of his colleagues continue to cast doubt on the vaccinations. "I'm a huge fan of vaccinations as a polio victim myself when I was young," McConnell, who underwent extensive polio treatment as a boy in order to walk. "I'm perplexed by the difficulty we have in finishing the job," McConnell said of stamping out the virus once and for all despite "three highly effective vaccines."

President Joe Biden has nominated former Arizona Senator Jeff Flake, a prominent “Never Trump” Republican, as his choice for U.S. Ambassador to Turkey. Flake is being described in the establishment media as a “Republican” nominee, as if his nomination were a bipartisan gesture. However, Flake has distanced himself from most Republicans, saying “there is no future” for the GOP with Trump. Flake is almost certain to be confirmed by the Senate, where he served for a term before retiring.

'How sad it is to see our beloved Harvard Divinity School in such decline and decay,' he wrote in the letter. 'The disarray of a scattered curriculum, the disenchantment of talented yet deferential faculty, and the disorientation of precious students loom large.'

Tuesday, MSNBC contributor and Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson voiced his hope that former President Donald Trump’s legal team faces “the most severe punishment possible” for alleging voter fraud in the 2020 election. Robinson argued on “Morning Joe” that Rudy Giuliani, Lin Wood, and Sidney Powell all had the “responsibility” and “duty” to not push “out-and-out lies” and “comment section nonsense” about election fraud. “Thank heavens for the federal court system because it did remain strong throughout this entire disgraceful process,” Robinson stated. “Like you, I’m surprised that this hearing didn’t happen in March or April as opposed to in...

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia is on course to run a budget surplus this year, analysts say, a turnaround after strong half-year data, with high oil prices giving room to cover spending promises from President Vladimir Putin ahead of parliamentary elections. Last month, Putin promised to spend on infrastructure, education and health, seeking to give the ruling United Russia party a boost. The pledges added to social support measures announced in April that will cost the budget around 400 billion roubles ($5.40 billion) over two years. Russia had a budget surplus of 626 billion roubles from January to June, the finance...

The U.S. Department of the Treasury on Monday lifted sanctions on the export of gas to socialist Venezuela, a boon to the dictatorship in Caracas and its patron government in communist Cuba, which struggles to suppress mounting opposition and calls for the regime’s total abolition. The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) issued a general license number 40, permitting “all transactions and activities related to the exportation or reexportation, directly or indirectly, of liquefied petroleum gas to Venezuela” as well as the socialist regime’s state-owned affiliates, specifically rescinding restrictions that then-President Donald Trump imposed via three executive orders in 2018...

“But none of this dismay from those on the right has stopped donors from chipping in big bucks to fill her campaign coffers, which currently boast $2.58 million in cash on hand to defend her seat.” “The haul dwarfs the $1.5 million raised in the same period by Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), who replaced Cheney as the No. 3-ranking GOP member in the House...”

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) on Tuesday tempered expectations for both versions of the “infrastructure” bill. When speaking to reporters, Manchin gave a stark warning that both the bipartisan plan and the reconciliation package including Democrat wish list items require full funding. “I think everything should be paid for. We’ve put enough free money out,” Manchin said to reporters. A frequent swing voter, the West Virginia senator could cause problems for both sides during the process. His comments come as the Senate Democrats on the Budget Committee prepare to revisit the plan on Thursday. The Democrats are reportedly trying to decide...

“Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him” (1 John 2:15). Genuine believers love God and reject the world and all its philosophies. As the “god of this world” (2 Cor. 4:4), Satan has designed a system that the Bible simply calls “the world.” The Greek term (kosmos) refers to a system encompassing false religion, errant philosophy, crime, immorality, materialism, and the like. Of it the apostle John wrote, “All that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust...

In its guidelines for safely opening K-12 schools in the fall, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says "masks should be worn indoors by all individuals (age 2 and older) who are not fully vaccinated." "Unvaccinated children...
