Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) downplayed the dangers of climate change at a Republican luncheon earlier this summer, according to a new report. "I don't know about you guys, but I think climate change is — as Lord Monckton said — bullsh*t," Johnson said according to CNN's KFILE, reporting the Republican did not utter the expletive but mouthed it instead. "By the way, it is," Johnson then added, according to a report. Lord Christopher Monckton is a British conservative climate change denier and political pundit. "What are we doing here? Well, we're killing ourselves," Johnson said at the event in early...

A 63-year-old Garfield man will spend two years in federal prison after constructing a working red, white and blue cannon in his garage. Kent W. Kimberling has been in custody of the Spokane County Jail since January 2020. In August 2019, investigators with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms discovered the unregistered destructive device in the home he shares with his mother....Investigators went to Kimberling’s home to conduct a welfare check. They found the cannon, which was later tested by federal agents and found to be operational. It fired a soda can, “leaving a large hole in the center...

In recent years, there has been an explosion of academic work declaring everything from meritocracy to math to be racist or vehicles of white dominance. Offering statistical analysis to support such claims is itself problematic since statistics have also been declared racist. Now however Law professor Mathilde Cohen of the University of Connecticut has found an untapped area of white dominance. In a talk at Sciences Po Paris and the University of Nanterre, Cohen explained how “French eating habits reinforced the ‘dominance’ of white people over ethnic minorities.”Presumably, the French themselves are allowed to continue to eat their own food...

"There's a point far out there, when the structures fail you. When the rules aren't weapons anymore, they're shackles, letting the bad guy get ahead. One day, you may face such a moment of crisis. And in that moment, I hope you have a friend like I did! To plunge their hands into the filth, so that you can keep yours clean!" ―Jim Gordon in The Black Knight TrilogyIf you don’t subscribe to the Epoch Times – one of the last news sites not filled with leftist propaganda - you should. Case in point, What Is to Be Done? Preparing...

Can Barronelle Stutzman, a Christian, run her flower shop in keeping with her faith? The Supreme Court -- with determinative votes cast by Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Amy Coney Barrett and Brett Kavanaugh -- has effectively decided she cannot. "My faith is a part of every aspect of my life," Stutzman said in a sworn statement presented seven years ago in a Washington state court. "I believe that God requires me to apply my faith in all that I do whether that is in my personal life or my business." "In the mid-1970s, I began learning the art...

ISMAILIA, Egypt, July 7 (Reuters) - The Ever Given, one of the world's largest container ships, resumed its journey to leave the Suez Canal on Wednesday, 106 days after becoming wedged across a southern section of the waterway for nearly a week and disrupting global trade. The Ever Given started to head north in the late morningacross the Great Bitter Lake, which separates two sections of the canal and where it had been moored with its Indian crew since being refloated on March 29. It then joined the back of a northbound convoy, passing the site of a ceremony where...

The FBI is building its case against an alleged leader of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot one Lego brick at a time. Investigators seized a “fully constructed US Capitol Lego set” from Robert Morss, 27, along with a notebook containing instructions on how to create a “hometown militia,” court records published by the Smoking Gun revealed. The suspect allegedly led rioters in “one of the most intense and prolonged clashes” against law enforcement officials trying to contain throngs of rioters, according to the outlet.

In many cases, agents will seek out people who have somehow demonstrated radical views, and then coax them into plotting an act of terrorism — often providing weapons and money. Before the suspects can carry out their plans, though, they're arrested. But critics say that the FBI's tactics serve to entrap only individuals who would never have committed any violence without the government's instigation. "They're manufacturing terrorism cases," Michael German, a former undercover agent with the FBI who now researches national-security law at New York University's Brennan Center for Justice, told The Times. "These people are five steps away from...

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, during a stop in Murray, KY, promised that Republicans would put up one “hell of a fight” against the far-left’s efforts at racial “infrastructure” plans. During McConnell’s speech, he anticipated a “big argument” with the Democrats and their radical reconciliation plan, which would allow them to ram through parts of their radical wish list into the infrastructure to avoid Republicans.

Congressional Democrats and their media allies are using Thursday's Supreme Court ruling upholding Arizona's anti-fraud voting laws as a pretext to ram through a federal takeover of elections. The Democrats' legislation, the For the People Act, makes widespread election stealing possible to lock in a permanent Democratic majority. Chuck Schumer is bashing the justices' ruling as "one of the darkest days in all of the Supreme Court's history." The New York Times editorial board calls Arizona's laws "an attack on democracy." Disregard this phony hand-wringing. The justices, by a 6-3 majority, found no evidence -that Arizona's voting laws put minority...
