Infected internationals? Come on in! Vaccinated, virus-free Americans? Stay out! None of that makes any sense, of course. Even for the government of Justin Trudeau, it is deeply, deeply unintelligent. And you can’t blame any of it on the provinces, either, as Trudeau’s TruAnon cultists are wont to do. Jurisdiction over international borders, and international airports, lies wholly with Ottawa. You know, the government of the aforementioned Justin Trudeau.... Easter and Erskine-Smith were joined by Brian Higgins, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives who represents a New York district that borders Canada. A Democrat, no less — no...

US President Joe Biden has suffered yet another blunder when speaking to the American public. In his latest gaffe, President Biden bizarrely claimed that he has been in charge of the country for 15 months, instead of five. He told a press conference that January 2021 was "15 months ago" and did not correct himself.

Core inflation in April saw a more significant contribution to used car prices pushing inflation upwards of 2% YoY mainly because prices of used vehicles on the month jumped 21% YoY. For those who haven’t seen what is going on in the used car space, here is a chart...

Joe Biden Neglects D-Day; Tweets About Tulsa Race Massacre President Joe Biden tweeted a video Sunday of his meeting last week with survivors of the Tulsa Race Massacre, but did not mention that June 6 was also the anniversary of D-Day, the U.S-led invasion of Normandy in the Second World War. Biden, who appeared to confuse D-Day with Pearl Harbor Day last year on the campaign trail, tweeted: “I met with survivors of the Tulsa Massacre this week to help fill the silence. Because in silence, wounds deepen. And, as painful as it is, only in remembrance do wounds heal.”...

"I'm a natural, honey, I was born to be a scammer." These words shocked some fans of a popular local content creator whose alleged phone conversation was leaked on YouTube on Thursday (June 3). In the 15-minute-long video, a woman shared how she targeted vulnerable, lonely men on gaming platforms such as Steam, admitting: "I scammed, like, seven guys and never got caught." One of them supposedly gave her the $30,000 which he had received as a sign-on bonus in the army. After the man badgered her to return him his money, the woman said she went out with him,...

Graduate Student Creates New Fingerprinting Powder Kristen Smith had a problem. The Rutgers University–Camden graduate student was conducting research in her forensics lab, following the recipe for a florescent-based fingerprint powder, when she realized that she couldn’t get a vital component in time to complete the project. So, she took matters into her own hands and considered what else could work. She ended up creating a novel formulation—used in the recovery of latent fingerprints, consisting of oils or sweat left from the fingertips or face—which she now intends to patent. “It was the best mistake in the world,” says Smith,...

The Rev. Michael Pfleger on Sunday returned to his South Side parish for the first time since he was reinstated last month following an investigation into decades-old allegations of sexual abuse, a process he described as “a painful nightmare” spurred by “false accusations.” “It’s good to be home,” Pfleger told a raucous congregation at St. Sabina Church in Auburn Gresham that included director Spike Lee and acting Chicago Fire Commissioner Annette Nance-Holt. The service, which stretched roughly three hours, gave Pfleger a platform to both reflect on the tumultuous five-month period during which he was under investigation, and to further...

DENVER -- The United States men's national team headed into Sunday's CONCACAF Nations League final against Mexico as a side heavy on potential but light on experience. Yet in an engrossing contest that lasted almost three hours, this young U.S. team grew before the collective eyes of those in attendance, prevailing 3-2 after extra time to claim the inaugural edition of the trophy. It was a match in which the U.S. navigated myriad twists and turns, rallying twice, converting a pressure-packed penalty through Christian Pulisic in extra time, and then surviving a penalty against them with substitute keeper Ethan Horvath...

The former head of the Food and Drug Administration, Scott Gottlieb, has said Dr. Anthony Fauci told world leaders in the spring of 2020 that the coronavirus may have escaped from a lab in Wuhan, China. U.S. researchers around that time still were considering whether the virus came from a lab break, and Fauci told the health leaders gathered that the newly identified strain of the coronavirus 'looked unusual,' according to Gottlieb. The disclosure from the former FDA chief comes as an increasing number of mainstream scientists and media figures no longer are parroting the line from the Chinese Communist...

Two U.S. experts have penned a damning essay saying the genome sequencing of COVID-19 strongly suggests that the virus was manufactured inside a Chinese laboratory. Dr. Stephen Quay and Richard Muller, a physics professor at the University of California Berkeley, made the claim in The Wall Street Journal on Sunday, amid growing speculation that the coronavirus leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV). 'The most compelling reason to favor the lab leak hypothesis is firmly based in science,' the experts wrote, stating that 'COVID-19 has a genetic footprint that has never been observed in a natural coronavirus.'

Only in Portland, where gangs of far left antifa thugs have free reign to riot, tax after tax after tax is passed, major roads are narrowed to make way for bike and pedestrian paths, and gender neutral bathrooms seem to be the highest priority, can one of the nations furthest-left mayors not be far enough to the left to satisfy the far left activists. All the virtue signaling city resolutions condemning hate and “white supremacy” can’t help Mayor Ted Wheeler now, as the aforementioned far left activists have formed a PAC to recall him and are planning on gathering signatures...
