Unlike Trump’s alleged collusion with Russia, Russia, Russia… Biden’s is not imaginary but very real and in your face. Democrats could never say what exactly Trump did, what precise decision was made, or what policy was changed. He “colluded,” don’t ya know. With Biden, we can start with the Colonial Pipeline hack by Russian conspirators and Biden’s non-reaction to it, Biden’s approval of a pipeline designed to make our NATO allies dependent on energy from Moscow, and, of course, his day-one cancellation of the Keystone XL pipeline. Trump promised Europe a share in our energy independence including building liquefied natural...

Twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton paid homage to George Floyd, who died a year ago today after an incident with former Minneapolis police office Derek Chauvin, telling activists “don’t stop pushing.” “To John Lewis, the effects of the protests following George Floyd’s murder were clear. ‘People will never, ever forget what happened and how it happened,’ he said. ‘And it is my hope that we are on our way to greater change.’ That’s my hope too,” Clinton said, telling activists, “Don’t stop pushing”:

The evangelical indie rock scene of the 1990s can be difficult to explain. A rebellious, unhinged underground movement that emerged from megachurch basements and religious colleges? A generation of musicians who broke ties with conservative Christianity but maintained a fan base built through youth groups and Young Life? You kind of had to be there. Perhaps no band typifies the many paradoxes of this scene and its fallout than Luxury, formed in small-town Georgia in the early 1990s and still together today. The band itself is also hard to describe: maybe Morrissey fronting Fugazi, with sad Radiohead piano, English-major allusions,...

There hasn’t been a police department more brutalized in recent memory. In Seattle, cops have been pummeled by a psycho city council. It’s not shocking. Seattle is left-wing. The residents are left-wing. They’re all nuts. The mayor allowed armed leftists to seize portions of the city. The ‘summer of love’ came crashing down when—shocker—people started to get shot and killed inside the autonomous zone. They have hamstrung the police and spit in their faces. After a summer of riots and not being allowed to restore order, along with an overall anti-police atmosphere, are we shocked that scores of cops have...

China’s state-run Global Times on Sunday hailed Chinese provinces and American state governments for “seeking to boost subnational economic and trade cooperation” — in other words, bypassing U.S. national policy and its restrictions on trade with China. The Global Times was excited that representatives from U.S. states such as California, New York, and Iowa attended an online forum for economic cooperation run by China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM).

Screen capture from video of elephants at the Ramat Gan Safari responding during a rocket attack from the Gaza Strip, May 2021. (Facebook)A video released by the Ramat Gan Safari shows how a herd of elephants formed a protective circle around a young calf during a rocket attack from the Gaza Strip last week. In the clip, published Friday, sirens warning of incoming rockets can be heard in the background. The elephants immediately cross their enclosure to stand around Pele, a 14-month-old calf. As the video continues, rockets from the Iron Dome air defense system can be heard whooshing into...

Gallup economic confidence index plunges to -7, compared to +41 under former President Trump in February 2020, the last full month measured before the COVID-19 pandemic. A Rasmussen poll from last week showed many Americans blame the economic woes on ongoing federal unemployment benefits. When asked, a plurality of 44% of Americans blamed the supplemental federal unemployment benefits for increased unemployment, saying the benefits "are making it too easy for unemployed Americans to not work." "The May jobs report to be released in early June could go a long way to convince Americans whether the disappointing April report was a...

Larry Summers, a former economic advisor to former President Barack Obama, warned President Joe Biden on Monday that inflation is a looming threat to the United States economy. “Now, the primary risk to the U.S. economy is overheating — and inflation,” Summers wrote in a Washington Post op-ed published Monday evening.

Something is clearly wrong with Joe Biden. While speaking at a roundtable hurricane briefing from FEMA, Biden began by pushing talking points about how he "insists on nothing less than readiness" and that he plans to double the money the U.S. government will spend to help communities prepare for extreme weather events. When he attempted to give his thoughts at the FEMA meeting, that's when things got a little jumbled. “But, uh, there’s, you know, there’s to be, you know, beginning, uh, this effort for 2021 is, uh…” Biden stumbled. "I think we've learned a few lessons from last year,...

A year after reporting the largest single-year membership decline in more than 100 years, churches in the Southern Baptist Convention, the nation’s largest Protestant denomination, lost more than 400,000 members in 2020 and set a new record for the single-year decline amid the coronavirus pandemic and a bitter culture war. The Annual Church Profile report shows membership in SBC congregations declined by a staggering 435,632 in 2020, more than 50% higher than the 287,655 members the denomination reported losing from 2018 to 2019. While the number of SBC congregations increased slightly by 62 to 47,592 over the previous year, the...

President Biden will meet in person with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Geneva, Switzerland, next month. It will be the first face-to-face meeting between the two leaders since Biden became president. White House press secretary Jen Psaki announced the June 16 meeting in a statement on Tuesday, saying the two leaders "will discuss the full range of pressing issues, as we seek to restore predictability and stability to the U.S.-Russia relationship." The meeting had been in the works for some time and will take place at the end of Biden's first trip abroad to Europe.

On Monday, auditor Harri Hursti was interviewed by CNN, where he shared his surprise at the level of confusion being spread about the audit, as well as the “deliberate trolling” taking place. Hursti called it a malicious act that sends the wrong message. His interview was recorded by Windham audit observers and shared with UncoverDC. When asked about the similarities in the audit in Windham and the one currently underway in Maricopa Co., Arizona, Hursti declared that voters in New Hampshire should have faith in their elections. Claiming the audit in Windham is different because their investigation is about the...

The top two House Republican leaders on Tuesday condemned Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) for repeatedly equating COVID-19 vaccination and mask-wearing rules to the Holocaust, which resulted in the deaths of 6 million Jews. “Marjorie is wrong, and her intentional decision to compare the horrors of the Holocaust with wearing masks is appalling. The Holocaust is the greatest atrocity committed in history. The fact that this needs to be stated today is deeply troubling,” House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said in a statement. “At a time when the Jewish people face increased violence and threats, anti-Semitism is on the...

There are a host of wild-eyed conspiracy theories about how Anthony Fauci paid the CCP to engineer the COVID-19 virus at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. After they released it, his buddies in the pharmaceutical industry were standing at the ready to create megadollar vaccines and treatments. Those vaccines would then be used to Recode your DNA Implant a microchip ID Give you mad cow disease Give you Lewy Body dementia Fill your brain with blood clots Depopulate the earth etc, etc, etc. Yada, yada, yada. Before I go on, let me point out that there are solid scientific pieces...

Rodelli, who works for the investment research firm CFRA, put the chances at 55 per cent in Epic's favour. Apple, he said, had lost credibility by pleading ignorance on key questions, while Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers appeared to be more interested in present-day business facts than older legal precedents -- a plus for Epic, which has conceded its case lies on the "frontiers" of antitrust theory...Amit Daryanani, Evercore ISI -- If Epic can convince the court that Apple devices are a singular market unto themselves, it would likely carry the day. We think this is relatively unlikely...."Bornstein conducted the best...

Have you stopped watching the news, or reading traditional media? A cursory glance across today's BBC headlines exemplifies the worst of it:'Germany bans travelers from the UK!' ‘CDC advises Americans not to kiss chickens!’ (not a joke)‘Water so toxic it could burn your eyes!’'Should all children get the COVID vaccine!' It is hard to imagine a world more utterly at odds with itself than the one we are living in now. I just took a break from my screen to grab some breakfast and was greeted by this: Individually wrapped apples. By the time some poor kitchen staffer wrapped...
