China’s greenhouse gas emissions in 2019 exceeded those of the U.S. and the developed world combined, according to a report published Thursday by research and consulting firm Rhodium Group. The country’s emissions more than tripled during the past three decades, the report added. China is now responsible for more than 27% of total global emissions. The U.S., which is the world’s second-highest emitter, accounts for 11% of the global total. India is responsible for 6.6% of global emissions, edging out the 27 nations in the EU, which account for 6.4%, the report said. The findings come after a climate summit...

WASHINGTON, D.C.—According to anonymous sources, the CIA has replaced enhanced interrogation techniques such as waterboarding with something even more torturous and effective: 12-hour academic lectures on intersectional feminism. "Waterboarding has been shown to be very effective," said the anonymous source. "But that's been replaced now. Now we just pop in a tape of Robin DiAngelo, Stacey Abrams, or Joy Behar. Sometimes we'll really ramp things up and make them watch Coca-Cola's diversity training on a 12-hour loop." Terror suspects will be subjected to lengthy lectures about cis-male privilege, heteronormative patriarchy, and microaggressive mansplaining. Sources say these lectures are 1,282% more...

DoubleLine's Jeffrey Gundlach called the Fed's bluff late last month, telling investors during an interview that he suspected the central bank was merely "guessing" about the impact of inflation being "transitory".Since then, we have only received more signs that inflationary pressures are growing in the US economy, while a growing number of investors have been persuaded to agree with Gundlach. The other day, DoubleLine released a recording of another talk given by Gundlach where he elaborated on the inflation theme, while also discussing other issues like the outlook for the US dollar in the face of President Biden's tax-and-spend agenda.During...

How can I put this tactfully? As was and remains the case with multiple former Obama officials, erstwhile Obama speechwriter Jon Favreau is a snake. For example, Favreau falsely claimed — knowingly lied — in May 2018, that pictures of “kids in cages” from the Obama era were pictures from the Trump era.“This is happening right now, and the only debate that matters is how we force our government to get these kids back to their families as fast as humanly possible.”Yeah, that’s the kind of guy Jon Favreau is.So it hardly came as a surprise on Wednesday evening when...

The White House condemned a new election security law signed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) on Thursday. “Florida is moving in the wrong direction,” Deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said to reporters aboard Air Force One. DeSantis signed the bill Thursday morning which puts limits on ballot box drop boxes, voting by mail, and ballot harvesting, while also enhancing voter ID requirements. “Me signing this bill here says, ‘Florida, your vote counts. Your vote is going to cast with integrity and transparency, and this is a great place for democracy,’” DeSantis said at a signing ceremony for the bill....

As a result, American companies were able to develop the vaccines in record time. Now, Joe Biden is throwing that exceptional effort and the money invested by the U.S. under the bus, and he’s backing a plan to shred the intellectual property rights of the American companies that went all out to help develop a vaccine to help the country.According to Townhall, U.S Trade Representative Katherine Tai issued a statement saying...

The Oversight Board circumvents First Amendment concerns because it is appointed by the industry, in this case Facebook, and the firm voluntarily follows its rulings. Board members should always favor free expression but, at the same time, are not bound to what have become often dogmatic formulas regarding First Amendment precedent. Thus, in the board’s first major ruling Wednesday, it chastised the firm’s process and very likely left an opening for Trump to return to the space. Now that we’ve established the board has power, it must be expanded to cover the entire social media ecosystem. As it stands, its...

When my father died in the mid 1970s, I found in his things a membership card in the ‘International Migratory Workers Union – Hoboes of America’. It’s exactly like the one pictured above, save the name and membership number.Jeff Davis was apparently a vaudevillian and self-styled, long-term ‘King of the Hoboes’. He founded the ‘Hotels de Gink’, which were basically homeless shelters for itinerant men.Jeff Davis appears to have been a patriotic man, and legend has it that he created his ‘hobo union’ in part to counter socialist outfits like the ‘Wobblies’ (q.v.) of the time .This was the Jeff...

Given the growing wokeness of America's big corporations, no one should be surprised to learn that American workers are indoctrinated with woke racism disguised as mandatory diversity training. For example, employees at Coca-Cola were required to take a diversity training course that suggested they be "less white" and "less oppressive." The company pulled the training after an internal whistleblower exposed it, but there's no doubt many American workers are still subject to similar training throughout corporate America. Woke racism even now affects adoptions by discouraging white families from adopting black children. Naomi Schaefer Riley, a fellow at the American Enterprise...

At the first day of an online Vatican conference on “exploring the mind, body, and soul,” Dr. Anthony Fauci spoke about the evolution of the scientific community’s response to the novel coronavirus outbreak, and the difference between acting based on instinct and acting from data. Fauci, an immunologist and chief medical adviser to U.S. President Joe Biden, responded to questions from CNN journalist Sanjay Gupta, who asked him how much doctors “have to rely on faith, not just religious faith, but your own system of belief,” when confronting something new, like COVID-19. “I think you have to rely on it...
