Randy Quaid may be joining the race for governor of California. After months of sharp criticism, the state's current governor, Gavin Newsom, will face a recall election, as it was announced on Monday that the signature threshold to trigger such an election has been met. Reality star Caitlyn Jenner has already announced her own candidacy for the position, and now, Quaid has said that he's interested in tossing his hat into the ring. The "Christmas Vacation" star, 70, took to Twitter on Tuesday to share his thoughts on the matter. "I’m seriously considering running for governor," he revealed. "The prosecutorial...

Judicial Watch has done an excellent job discovering direct evidence of collusion between government officials, the Biden campaign and social media companies Facebook, Twitter, Google (YouTube) to censor speech and remove content. California officials were using a list generated by a firm called SKDK (working for Biden campaign) to inform the social media companies of content for removal. […] The Office of Election Cybersecurity in the California Secretary of State’s office monitored and tracked social media posts, decided if they were misinformation, stored the posts in an internal database coded by threat level, and on 31 different occasions requested posts...

An estimation of the number of illegal aliens living in the United States is excluded from early data released this week by the U.S. Census Bureau thanks to executive orders from President Joe Biden. Census Bureau officials released population totals this week, revealing that the U.S. population stands at about 331,449,281 residents, adding more than 22,700,000 residents since 2010. Still unknown is how many of those nearly 331.5 million U.S. residents are illegal aliens. In March 2018, former President Trump’s administration announced that it would seek to put the American citizenship question back on the Census to determine how many...

Americans will have no choice but to reduce meat consumption if President Joe Biden is going to slash greenhouse gas emissions by half in the next 10 years, experts say - even if the president is mum so far on how he'll actually achieve that goal. Biden hasn't laid out a plan beyond the big number: reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 50 to 52 percent from their 2005 levels by 2030. To do that, experts say meat will have to be a target because of the greenhouse gases emitted in producing and raising beef - especially methane.

Former President Donald Trump mocked the Oscars for receiving the lowest ratings in history, suggesting the failure was intertwined with Hollywood promoting the Democratic Party. In a statement sent out mid-day Tuesday, Trump also said the Oscars should revert to the classier name, the Academy Awards. 'What used to be called The Academy Awards, and now is called the "Oscars" - a far less important and elegant name - had the lowest Television Ratings in recorded history, even much lower than last year, which set another record low,' Trump wrote.

Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday slammed House Republican Conference Chairwoman Liz Cheney (R-WY), branding her a “warmongering fool” whose congressional re-election campaign is doomed. “Liz Cheney is polling sooo low in Wyoming, and has sooo little support, even from the Wyoming Republican Party, that she is looking for a way out of her Congressional race. Based on all polling, there is no way she can win,” Trump said in a statement. “She’ll either be yet another lobbyist or maybe embarrass her family by running for President, in order to save face. This warmongering fool wants to stay in the...

On Tuesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The ReidOut,” host Joy Reid stated that she wore two masks to jog outside even though she’s fully vaccinated, to which NBC News Medical Analyst Dr. Vin Gupta responded that people shouldn’t be judged for their personal health decisions, but “there’s not been data for many months now that outdoor transmission is a thing,” and “there’s no way you’re going to really get exposed unless maybe you’re at a rave or outdoor concert where you’re really close to people who are not masking.” Reid said that the relaxed CDC guidelines are proof that vaccinations are...

The FISA Court is CompromisedI hate to write this, but there is just no good way to look at this. The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, specifically Presiding Judge James Boasberg, has hired former DOJ National Security Division head, Mary McCord, as amici curiae advisor to the court. [LINK] The placement was first noted by an announcement from Georgetown Law ICAP. Presiding Judge James Boasberg, is the decision-maker in the appointment of Amici Curiae to the FISA court. There is no way, NO WAY, Judge Boasberg does not know Mary McCord was at the epicenter of the fraudulent FISA application used...

More than 230 cops have either retired or resigned from the Louisville Metro Police Department in the last 16 months as a spokesperson for its union says that staffing shortages have left the agency in ‘dire straits’ while violent crime rises. The Kentucky city’s police department has been in turmoil since the March 2020 police-involved shooting of Breonna Taylor, the 26-year-old black EMT who was fatally shot in her home by officers executing a no-knock search warrant. According to statistics provided by the LMPD on Tuesday, the department has seen about 190 officers leave last year and 43 depart so...

The Talk returned with original episodes for the first time since Sharon Osbourne's abrupt exit from the show, and the ratings have plummeted even further. The CBS syndicated talk show returned on April 13, its first episode in nearly a month after Osbourne's abrupt exit, after getting into a heated argument with Sheryl Underwood over her support for Piers Morgan. The Talk had been suffering from slipping ratings even before the hiatus, but Soap Opera Network reports it has now fallen to become the lowest-rated daytime show.

An Australian man has received a 10-month jail sentence for filming and mocking police officers as they lay dying at a crash scene. Last month Richard Pusey pleaded guilty to the rare charge of outraging public decency, as well as other offences. The 42-year-old has already been in custody for nearly 300 days, so he will likely complete his sentence within days. The sentencing judge called his actions "heartless, cruel and disgraceful". Pusey's case has stirred huge public anger. Last month, Judge Trevor Wraight said the media had demonised Pusey to the point where he was "probably the most hated...

DENVER (AP) — As Western states prepare for this year’s wildfire season, the world’s largest firefighting plane has been grounded and could be converted to help fight against another crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic. After investing tens of millions into upgrading the Global SuperTanker and its technology, the revenue coming mostly from contracts with the U.S. government and California did not produce enough profit for the company to continue the funding the tanker, said Roger Miller, managing director at Alterna Capital Partners LLC, the investment company that owns the plane.... ...Other Very Large Airtankers can carry up to 8,000 gallons (30,283...

The Arizona Democrat Party and a Maricopa County Board Supervisor filed a complaint arguing the audit violates state law. Superior Court Judge allowed the audit to continue with a hearing set for Tuesday. In today’s hearing, plaintiffs in the case argued that Cyber Ninjas, the lead party in the audit, has not provided adequate proof of its ability to conduct a secure and confidential audit of the ballots. The Defendants argued that they have a right to protect their procedures and policies from review by the plaintiffs because, state Senate, has not been waived from privilege in the case.

HONOLULU — The Navy said it relieved the commander of a Pearl Harbor-based destroyer after losing confidence in her leadership. The Navy said in a brief news release that Cmdr. Kathryn J. Dawley was removed as the USS Hopper’s leader on Tuesday. It did not elaborate on the reason for her dismissal. Capt. Don Rauch, deputy commander of Destroyer Squadron Three One, has temporarily assumed command of the Hopper until the Navy identifies a permanent replacement. Dawley took over as the ship’s commander a year ago. A Navy news story from that time said Dawley was the first female commanding...

The CDC recently released a guide showing you when to wear a mask for indoor and outdoor activities. It was a reckless, irresponsible thing to do since it depicted some outdoor activities in which it's ok for vaccinated people to not wear a mask. This is literally murder. We here at the Babylon Bee have created a much safer guide that will help you make the right decisions because, unlike the CDC, we actually care about people. Here you go!

FRANCIS THE MERCIFUL AND JEFFREY SACHS: Moving the Goalpost in Human TraffickingIn the United Nations, promises are made, promises are broken. Goals set, goals moved. The Vatican and the UN were hoping that people wouldn’t pay attention to the goals they set, especially the one involving human trafficking (8.7). After all, no one should be able to hold these men accountable for failing to fulfill their promise. The Merciful One often chastises the world for its “globalization of indifference.” Catchy phrase, and especially ironic coming from one so indifferent to the suffering victims of clergy sex abuse. Nevertheless, The Merciful One...
