Are establishment newsrooms competing to see who can lick China’s boots harder? Because it sure seems these days as if they are. The New York Times, for example, published a grotesque puff piece this week praising the communist regime’s “version of freedom” and its supposedly successful efforts to fight the coronavirus pandemic. Missing from the more than 1,200-word article is the word “Uighur.” Their freedoms were apparently not worth mentioning.

Supreme Court takes a pass on holding a violent agitator accountable. While Americans were preoccupied in the fall with the presidential election, the Supreme Court quietly let Black Lives Matter agitator DeRay Mckesson, an outspoken apologist for political violence directed at police, completely off the hook for the vicious maiming of a police officer at a rowdy protest he organized. Mckesson, of course, is on record as favoring mob violence against police officers. At a July 9, 2016 protest that social media star Mckesson (who has a million followers on Twitter) unlawfully led onto a highway in Baton Rouge, Louisiana,...

Democrat Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, who is also a pastor at St. James United Methodist Church of Kansas City, Missouri, delivered the opening prayer for the 117th Congress last Sunday. After invoking “the God known by many names and faith,” he closed the prayer, of course, with “Amen.” Then, in a moment of shark-jumping absurdity, he added, “and a-woman,” apparently ascribing gender to the word “Amen” and attempting to be inclusive of the female sex. As a pastor (with a Master of Divinity degree, no less), surely Cleaver cannot be unaware that “amen” comes from Hebrew filtered through Greek and...

Well, this one is hard to explain. A stunning video provided by Kanekoa, Goergia GOP Senate candidate David Perdue can be seen mysteriously losing 32,400 votes during a live ABC News broadcast. With only 40% of the expected vote results recorded Purdue’s lead slips fro 774,723 to 742,323 for a loss of 32,400 votes during another segment on a live ABC broadcast. And we are left wondering, did we just watch an election scam occur in real time?

One topic that has remained relevant in politics, besides the usual corruption and selling out, is the idea of conspiracy theories. Even in the debates, President Trump was asked to denounce conspiracy theory groups like QAnon, after his supposed “support” of them. Conspiracy theories are a big part of politics, and life in general. There are always conspiracies from TV shows to Democratic officials. Are conspiracy theories dangerous? It depends. All over Google and social media, you’ll see these “trusted news sites” say how evil and dangerous conspiracy theories are. This coming from the people who pushed the Russia hoax...

Thrasymachus proffered that “Justice is the advantage of the stronger.” Other historians have opined that Thrasymachus said it in other ways, too, like “Justice is simply the will of the strongest person or party,” or, “Justice is what is good for the stronger.”

Donald Trump's extraordinary crusade to overturn the presidential election will come to a head on Wednesday as Congress meets to certify Joe Biden's Electoral College victory at a joint session led by Vice President Mike Pence. The typically routine proceeding will be anything but, as a group of 13 rogue Republican senators led by Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley plan to file objections when the alphabetical vote roll-call reaches the battleground state of Arizona. The longshot effort is all but certain to fail, defeated by bipartisan majorities in Congress prepared to accept Biden's 306 to 232 electoral victory over Trump....

America stands over two months after Election Day, and yet tension remains in the air over the outcome of the presidential race. Legally, little has changed. The full expectation should be - as it has from the start - that Joe Biden will end up being inaugurated later this month. Appropriately, the event will be very limited for the public.Even still, in spite of the clear legal advantage Joe Biden has, the behavior of various institutions of power is one of growing unease. This is understandable, Donald Trump remains a populist political figure willing to take down any political leader—regardless...

CAVA, a restaurant chain based in the DC suburb of Rockville, Maryland, is so committed to “diversity” that they’ve openly boasted about their significant reduction of white employees from 2019. “Your continued support has helped us make strides to better our organization and the communities we serve. In such a challenging year, we couldn’t have achieved any of it without you. We look forward to continuing this work and welcoming you to our table in 2021,” the chain tweeted along with four infographics detailing their efforts to feed the poor, open new locations, and spread the false gospel of “social...

Private payrolls in December unexpectedly declined for the first time since April, according to a report Wednesday from payroll processing company ADP. The company, which estimates employment each month prior to the release of the government’s official payroll estimate on the first Friday of each month, said private payrolls fell by 123,000 in December.

On his Substack last week, Matt Yglesias tried to throw woke piranhas a bone by supporting the idea of picking what kids read in school according to the tired identity categories of race, sex, yadda yadda. The discussion resurfaced with a Wall Street Journal article noting teachers — like librarians, publishing houses, corporate news media, and the rest — banning books based on authors’ skin color and sexual preferences, now in the name of “antiracism.”This isn’t new. “Hey ho, hey ho, Western civ has got to go” was the chant Jesse Jackson led at Stanford University back in the 1980s,...

The pro-Trump rallies in Washington D.C. are set to take place on the sidelines of a joint-session of Congress to certify the results of the 2020 presidential election. Supporters of President Trump are gathering in Washington as the president plans to address a pro-Trump rally taking place on the sidelines of a joint session of Congress to certify the results of the 2020 presidential election. It comes as the president is putting pressure on Vice President Mike Pence to intervene during the session, tweeting: "Do it Mike, this is a time for extreme courage!" And it also follows the Georgia...

As an American who reveres our country, our founding, and our Constitution, I am appalled at the election of Raphael Warnock. His beliefs, as declared over the course of decades, about this country, race, Israel, and a host of other issues are frightening. As a Jew, Warnock’s relentless anti-Semitic and anti-Israel statements are shocking, yet they represent a growing view within the Democrat Party, the Left, and the media. And those statements were never condemned by Democrat Party leaders and the media. In fact, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris campaigned hard for Warnock, and this morning the media are touting...
