Xavier Collin/Image Press Agency/SIPA USA/AP Images This is the winter of discontent for Hollywood workers, as no level of seniority has been spared from the wave of mass layoffs. Warner Bros. has been shaken by two rounds of layoffs and a wholesale restructuring that have ushered out veterans with decades of service to the Hollywood studio. NBCUniversal has rewired the structure of its TV content production and distribution operations, leading to hundreds of job cuts. ViacomCBS has periodically shed bodies by the dozens in the year since its two halves formally tied the knot again in December 2019. AMC Networks...

Police arrested an intoxicated man in Montpellier after he made death threats aboard a tram, telling passengers that in 2021, Islam would kill them all. The incident occurred at around 5:30 pm on Friday, November 20th, aboard a line two tram. The 33-year-old man, who was carrying a copy of the Quran, threatened people around him. “I’m going to kill you, slaughter you, you son of a bitch. You’re going to see in 2021, Islam, we’re going to kill you all,” the suspect said, according to witnesses. Several passengers then called the police, and two travellers later forced him off...

Unreported Truths Part 1 focused on the way we count deaths from COVID-19. Part 2 explained lockdowns. But Part 3 covers a topic even more central to our lives every day - the evidence that masks do or do not work to reduce the spread of the coronavirus. For months, public health experts have proclaimed, "My mask protects you, while yours protects me." Governments all over the world now make people wear face coverings in public. But the proof that masks do any good is far weaker than almost anyone understands.

Three Democrat senators have introduced a bill that would reform the U.S. Department of Agriculture and create a system of land grants to transfer millions of acres to Black farmers at no charge. Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., the lead sponsor of the bill, tweeted Tuesday, "I'm proud to team up with @ewarren and @SenGillibrand to introduce the Justice for Black Farmers Act. We need to balance the scales after decades of systemic racism within @USDA have harmed Black farmers." The bill was announced on Nov. 19 by Booker, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., and is set...

Dominion’s Eric Coomer who literally wrote the Antifa Manifesto on his Facebook in endless disturbed rants in foaming hate for President Trump installed “Update software” on over 30,000 #Georgia machines RIGHT BEFORE THE ELECTION! This story seems strange now but the liberal media did a report about it days before the election. Atlanta News Now reported first about this on September 28th. The software on the state’s 30,000-plus touchscreens was replaced to prevent an issue where the second column of U.S. Senate candidates sometimes didn’t appear. Those candidates included Republican U.S. Sen. Kelly Loeffler and Democrats Matt Lieberman, Ed Tarver...

In a tragic irony, the prospect of another 'life-saving' lockdown has drained some senior citizens of their will to live. Assisted suicides and depression are up.An elderly woman who had experienced strict confinement and isolation in a Toronto nursing home under a previous COVID lockdown has narrowly avoided reliving that experience, although at a horrible cost. Toronto went into Ontario’s most restrictive “grey” tier on Monday, including a near-complete ban on social gatherings. Unlike many others in North America who have packed up their belongings and relocated to less restrictive areas during the COVID-19 outbreak, however, her “escape” from lockdown...

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger called out President Donald Trump’s 2020 presidential campaign for continuing to allege that the election was rigged, claiming that the president is now trying to throw him under the bus after the state was called for Joe Biden. By all accounts, Georgia had a wildly successful and smooth election,” wrote Raffensperger in a Wednesday op-ed for USA Today. “This should be something for Georgians to celebrate, whether their favored presidential candidate won or lost. For those wondering, mine lost — my family voted for him, donated to him, and are now being thrown under...

A former North Korean gymnast claims he leaped over an almost 10-feet high barbed-wire fence to defect to the safety of the South, according to reports. Seoul’s defense authorities have now launched an investigation into the unidentified defector after his escape across the heavily fortified demilitarized zone (DMZ) failed to set off any alarms, The Korea Herald said. The man, who is described as being in his 20s, told them that he used his gymnastic training to leap over the fence undetected — even jumping twice for officials to prove his athletic prowess, according to the report.

In this election, there were thousands of votes cast for Biden that were illegal because the people casting them were not US citizens. Just Facts discovered that those vote totals were, in some states, quite large. Here are the vote totals that they found: Arizona: 51,081 ± 17,689 Georgia: 54,950 ± 19,025 Michigan: 22,585 ± 7,842 Nevada: 22,021 ± 7,717 North Carolina: 46,218 ± 16,001 Pennsylvania: 32,706 ± 11,332 Wisconsin: 5,010 ± 1,774 When considered alongside the supposed Biden margin of victory in many of those states, it is incredibly concerning that those non-citizens were able to vote for Biden....

Pope Francis lashes out at lockdown protestors: they’d never protest children lacking waterJust days ago, the pope was visiting with professional basketball players while breaking social distancing guidelines and not wearing a mask.November 24, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – In a rant by Pope Francis where he lets down his guard and allows his leftist colors to show more than in the past, the Pope said of anti-lockdown protestors, “you’ll never find such people protesting the death of George Floyd, or joining a demonstration because there are shantytowns where children lack water or education, or because there are whole families who have...

You may be hearing a lot from President Obama these next couple of weeks because he's promoting his new book, "A Promised Land." In an interview with The Breakfast Club, the hosts asked Obama to share some thoughts on the 2020 presidential election. One thing that really irked 44, he shared, was that so many Hispanics voted for the president. Trump improved his margins in 78 of the nation’s 100 majority-Hispanic counties. "People were surprised about a lot of Hispanic folks who voted for Trump, but there's a lot of evangelical Hispanics, who, the fact that Trump says racist things...

White dwarf stars in globular cluster NGC 6397. (NASA, ESA, and H. Richer/University of British Columbia) SPACE ====================================================================== When stars like the Sun reach the end of their lives, the object that remains is a white dwarf. This is the star's shrunken, naked core, no longer capable of nuclear fusion. It shines, but only with residual heat, slowly cooling over billions of years until it's completely cold and dark. But not all white dwarfs cool the same way. Last year, astronomers found a certain type of massive white dwarf stars cool more slowly than others, as though they have...

ACOSTA: "He didn’t take questions, as we all know. And it’s worth noting. He has been in this period of dealing with losing to Joe Biden for the last three weeks now. Still has not taken any questions from reporters. So it is hard to put the cereal back in the box after you have gone cuckoo for cocoa puffs, and I think that is the situation over here. Just the strangest, just the weirdest thing I have ever seen in the White House briefing room.”

There’s been enough obloquy thrown Thanksgiving’s way this year without MSNBC’s petty revisionism, no? Yet, there it was on MSNBC’s “AM Joy” on Saturday, this time guest-hosted by Jason Johnson. As the Media Research Center reported, Johnson called Thanksgiving “colonizer Christmas” and then threw it to a panelist who managed to sink lower from there. Johnson began with the usual Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warnings against gathering for Thanksgiving this year — in some jurisdictions, Americans are restricted from gathering by law — and “urging you not to be the turkey who puts your loved ones at risk.”...

A super PAC linked to longtime Trump adviser Roger Stone is calling for Republicans to write-in the president's name in the upcoming Senate runoff elections in Georgia as retaliation after his re-election bid failed in the once red state. The Committee for American Sovereignty, a group tied to Stone which raised millions pushing disinformation during the 2016 election, launched a new website urging Republican voters to "crush" the "plot to destroy America" by "writing in Trump for the Georgia Senate runoffs."

Everyone knows leftist politicians don't believe their own malarkey, but a new Democratic presidential administration means more "do as I say, not as I do" tyrants are in charge beginning in 2021. Before there were hypocritical politicians flagrantly flouting their own COVID-19 lockdown rules, there were the global warming-alarmists who traversed the Earth in carbon-spewing private jets to lecture regular people about their energy consumption. One such throwback is failed 2004 presidential candidate John Kerry, whom presumptive President-elect Joe Biden has tapped to become "Climate Czar" in his incoming administration.
