Hundreds of Guatemalan demonstrators stormed into the country’s Congress in Guatemala City on Saturday, setting fire to parts of the legislative building. The rally came amidst growing protests against the government under President Alejandro Giammattei for approving budget cuts to education and health spending. Around 7,000 people gathered outside the National Palace following the approval of the $13 billion (€11 billion) budget for 2021. It’s the country’s highest-ever spending plan and earmarks most funds for infrastructure projects linked to big businesses in a country with widespread poverty. Protesters accused the government of passing the budget in secret and demanded Giammattei’s...

Nearly three weeks after the American elections, Americans and the world in general, are still none-the-wiser; not knowing who really won and if the votes have all been legitimate or otherwise. And the man who is supposedly trying to make America respectable again, yes, Joe Biden, started his ‘tenure’ ironically by presenting his own disrespect by breaking the law and declaring himself as ‘president elect’ and establishing an illegal entity in the name of the ‘Office of President-Elect’. There are serious accusations that allege that dead people have voted, that boxes of late illegal ballots (all voting for Biden) suddenly...

A Chinese virologist famous for her research on coronavirus in bats has shared new tests which suggest the virus did not originate at her lab in Wuhan. The results showed none of them were infected with Covid-19, The South China Morning Post reported. Her update appears to contradict accusations from Donald Trump's administration that the virus, which has infected nearly 58million people worldwide, originated at her Wuhan lab....
