Facing perhaps their most important election ever, Americans have much to worry about: Urban riots and political violence, a loss of respect for our basic constitutional rights and American institutions, and the spate of socialist-inspired radical policy proposals from the Biden campaign. Here’s one more thing: the ruinous taxes you’ll have to pay for the left’s socialist wish-list if Joe Biden wins. A recent study by a group of highly regarded economists at the Hoover Institution, including two former members of the Council of Economic Advisers, found that the full panoply of Biden’s policy proposals — Medicare for All, big...

Nate Cohn @Nate_Cohn I don't make predictions, but if the absentee votes continue to break for Biden by the margins they have so far--and as we have every reason to expect--then Biden would win by around 2 points 6:29 PM · Nov 4, 2020·Twitter Web App

Those who ran the operation are also in charge of all the potential investigating agencies. There’s zero chance they will use any of that power to uncover their own malfeasance. Think a Biden Justice Department will look into it? Expect instead a media typhoon of propaganda insisting that the results are all legit, that any anomaly you think you see (or saw) is a “conspiracy theory,” or at any rate innocently explainable by mundane process details too boring to get into. Twitter is already slapping warnings on the accounts of those who point out irregularities. How long before they start...

I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake. I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father. I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one. I I...

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Republicans expanded their overwhelming majorities in Kentucky's General Assembly in Tuesday's election, dominating rural races and fending off Democratic efforts to gain traction in more suburban districts. Most GOP candidates benefited from the top of their statewide ticket, with President Donald Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell notching lopsided wins. Republicans solidified their control of rural districts as Democrats saw their ranks continue to dwindle. With some races still too close to call, House Speaker David Osborne said the GOP ultimately could pick up 13 seats — six held by Democratic incumbents and seven open...

"Fox News was more biased against Trump than NYTimes." News sites"set the narrative that Biden was ahead at the end of Election Night" to make Biden the default candidate so Trump's efforts "to stop the steal could be framed as a coup." https://twitter.com/michellemalkin/status/1324135333378711552

On this date in 1778, the hanging in Philadelphia of two elderly Quakers for treason perhaps set in motion Benedict Arnold’s notorious defection from the American Revolution. Brotherly love was a little scarce on the ground in Philly after Gen. William Howe occupied it for the British in 1777-1778.* British control of the cradle of liberty exacerbated the social tensions swirling around the revolution, most particularly between radical revolutionaries and those of a more go-along, get-along variety. Plenty of North Americans, after all, were British loyalists. Plenty of others were fine with political independence but horrified at the more radically...

Drugs are winning the war on drugs. [...] But there was one absolutely certain loser last night: the war on drugs. If Americans across the country provided a clear mandate for anything this year, it's ending the hold that drug prohibition has on our country. Of nine drug decriminalization or legalization measures on state ballots last night—including two addressing hallucinogens and one covering all illegal drugs—not a single one failed. These were decisive victories, too, not close calls. And unlike some previous waves of pro-marijuana votes, which were concentrated in predictable areas, successful anti–drug war measures in 2020 spanned a...

The richest and most powerful country on earth — whether due to ineptitude, choice or some combination of both — has no ability to perform the simple task of counting votes in a minimally efficient or confidence-inspiring manner. As a result, the credibility of the voting process is severely impaired, and any residual authority the U.S. claims to “spread” democracy to lucky recipients of its benevolence around the world is close to obliterated. ...the day after the 2020 presidential elections, the results of the presidential race, as well as control of the Senate, are very much in doubt and in...

There’s something strange about Wisconsin’s election results from last night and today that some people are picking up on. Kimberly Strassel will explain: 1) I am legitimately interested/confused by this. I checked, and the top number is indeed Wisconsin's active registered voter number as of Nov. 1. The bottom is approx. what has been counted. That is a (not feasible) 89% turnout. 2) The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is claiming a 71% state turnout. I'm not sure where it gets this, but that would make more sense, given even populous Milwaukee didn't exceed 83% turnout, and Dane lower. (Do math on...

VIDEO: Wagons, Suitcases, and Coolers Roll Into Detroit Voting Center at 4 AM Poll watcher raises alarms over suspicious activity in Detroit during early morning. Arizona Update. Trump picked up ~90k overnight. Needs another ~100k to win. There are ~600k ballots left which are: ~400k Maricopa, ~100k Pima, ~100k Rural. Trump needs ~58% of those votes to lock AZ. These are all late mail, provisional, & drop-off ballots. Odds are good if... if all of the legitimate ballots are counted. The election day vote went 65:35 for Trump. This a close race, where Trump has good odds. It's not over.
