Trump administration officials have reportedly considered cutting millions of dollars for COVID-19 and other health programs in cities led by Democratic lawmakers that the Department of Justice has said "permit anarchy." Politico reported late Tuesday New York City; Portland, Ore.; Washington, D.C.; and Seattle could lose funding for health programs that serve low-income residents, the elderly and others, according to documents it obtained. Nearly 200 health programs could face cuts from the Trump administration, it added. A list sent to the White House budget office on Friday from the Department of Health and Human Services includes approximately 1,500 funding awards...

At the beginning of NC early voting, Democrats were leading Republicans in returned mail ballots by roughly a 54% to 16% spread. That spread has now been reduced to 43.70% to 27.48% after 6 days of early, in-person voting (note: the Democrats have out-voted Republicans on all 6 days of in-person voting, but each day Republicans have cut the Democrats' raw vote margin). On the first day of early, in-person voting, Democrats cast approximately 75K more ballots than Republicans. Yesterday, Democrats cast 3K more ballots than Rs, which means that tomorrow Republicans will very likely win the "raw vote" in...

WSLS 10 News questioned Gov. Ralph Northam on the issue while speaking at an event in South Boston. “We talked about that very issue that racism is a health crisis issue. We’re looking at a proclamation. That starts with leadership and a message that comes from the Governor and other individuals. It’s something that I’m discussing with that advisory board. I’ll work with Del. Aird and I think you’ll see more in that regard,” commented Gov. Northam. Del. Lashrecse Aird represents Virginia’s 63rd district in the House of Delegates. Part of the General Assembly’s special session, Del. Aird introduced a...

We are now seeing the consequences of 50 years of the Left's academic malfeasance. Bruce Thornton is a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center. The New York Times’ “1619 Project,” a “woke” racialist rewrite of American history, is just the latest in the decades-long track record of leftist distortions of history. Like everything else corrupting our culture, its roots lie in Cultural Marxism and its assault on social institutions, especially education, as the means for achieving the Marxist paradise that the proletariat had betrayed by not rising up against their capitalist taskmasters and collectivizing the means of...

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism. The coronavirus, like so many other social ills, real and metaphorical, incubated in major cities. New York City, with the highest population density in the country, also accounted for the highest death toll. San Francisco, the second highest among large cities, was a major incubator. Pandemic maps of the death toll show the deaths concentrating around major cities before making the slow trek from urban into suburban and eventually rural areas. The urban lockdowns didn’t...

Interstate transfers to Melbourne blocked due to corona lockdown restrictions. Four newborn babies in Adelaide, Australia have died after being denied life-saving heart surgery due to coronavirus travel restrictions. Adelaide is the only mainland Australian capital that doesn’t provide paediatric cardiac surgery, therefore around 100 babies a year have to be sent interstate to receive treatment. However, due to COVID-19 lockdown restrictions imposed by the Australian government, transfers to Melbourne have stopped and the babies have to make a longer journey to Sydney instead. “Obsetrician Professor John Svigos said four babies who had died in Adelaide in the past month...

The repair shop where Hunter Biden left his laptop made a copy before turning it over to the FBI. After a year or so of inaction on the part of the FBI, the copies were given to Giuliani. Rudy Giuliani talked about “sensitive” material on the laptop of Hunter Biden including “numerous pictures” of underage girls and an alleged text message exchange he had with his father where he admits to a relationship with a 14-year-old girl and creating an unsafe environment for his children. The former New York City mayor said he turned the laptop over to police in...

In a dispute that parallels court cases decided earlier this year about voter residency, the New Hampshire Republican State Committee asked the Attorney General's Office to block college students learning remotely from voting in New Hampshire, while progressive groups and the ACLU want New Hampshire students to vote here. The central question: Where do college students really live? The Republicans' letter argues students' stake in political life here is less than other voters, arguments similar to the ones the party and Secretary of State Bill Gardner made when arguing over voter residency laws passed in 2018. If a student is...

snip.....QAnon followers also believe there is a "Deep State" working against the president. The movement originated on online message board 4chan when an individual identifying themselves as "Q" claimed to be a government insider sharing information about what was secretly happening in the U.S. government and claiming prominent Democrats, such as former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, will be sent to Guantanamo Bay. snip.....Actor Bette Midler suggested to her two million Twitter followers that the timing was "convenient" because it meant Trump might not have to attend debates. Meanwhile, some QAnon believers thought Trump's announcement signaled the imminent arrest of...

Fifteen years ago, American higher education was beset with serious problems, especially rising costs, politicization of the curriculum, the mania over diversity, and falling academic standards. At that time, however, few people would have said that among its problems was the threat to freedom of speech on campus. But one scholar who did see that freedom of speech was coming under attack was University of Wisconsin professor Donald Downs. His book Restoring Free Speech and Liberty on Campus was an alarm bell in the night. He saw that the forces of intolerance and repression were gathering strength. Downs has now...

It appears voter fraud is happening on tape: 1. Guy is reviewing ballots 2. Looks like the guy sees a ballot with a blank spot to fill in OR looks like the guy spots an opportunity to invalidate ballots by double marking them. (Vote in person everybody). 3. Guy checks if the coast is clear (You'd think he would know to not look around before he grabs a black pen to fill in bubbles. That isn't how someone doing a boring, repetitive task acts when doing something they are supposed to do.) 4. Guy grabs a black pin and starts...

Who remembers when Joe Biden yelled at -- and threatened -- Prime Minister Menachem Begin? Before the Democratic Party’s lurch to the Left and his selection by Barack Obama, Joe Biden saw himself as a quasi-Dixiecrat. In his first try for the Democratic Presidential he bragged that he had received an award from George Wallace and boasted that “Delawareans were on the side of the South in the Civil War.” In 1982, as he was probably beginning to plan that campaign, Biden thought he could appeal to the perceived nativism of the Dixiecrats by publicly threatening to cut off aid...

NAEP's changes might cause better test results, but they fundamentally alter the meaning of reading comprehension, which would hurt students. Much like the SAT adding an adversity score and the ACT allowing specific subject retakes, the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), also known as the “nation’s report card,” is easing its standards to improve its numbers. As with the SAT and ACT, these changes carry significant implications for the way English is taught in American schools. This year, the NAEP’s governing board plans to change testing to “optimize the performance of the widest possible population of students in the...

Lady I work with just came back after a week of being gone. Week ago she got a call that her aunt tested positive for covid. Turns out she is claiming she tests negative but 59 of her relatives were positive with nobody going to the hospital. She is one of the biggest members of the fear porn mob and now she is better after seeing her family members get it and it is not a death sentence. This all happened at a party she claims. I really do not know what to believe after hearing that. 59 get it...
