California Republicans refuse to hand over information about who used their unofficial ballot drop boxes. Now, state Democratic leaders are taking them to court. California Attorney General Xavier Becerra on Tuesday filed a petition in the Sacramento Superior Court requesting the court order the CA GOP to comply with “investigative interrogatories,” or questions posed to the party about the use of unofficial ballot drop boxes. Becerra is asking the court to force Republicans to provide the name, address and birth date of all individuals that deposited a vote by mail ballot in any of Republicans’ non-official drop boxes, as well...

North Carolina can accept absentee ballots that are postmarked by Election Day for more than a week afterward, a federal appeals court ruled Tuesday. The 4th Circuit Court of Appeals declined to block an extension for accepting the ballots that was announced in late September. The State Board of Elections decided then that absentee ballots could be accepted until Nov. 12 as long as they were mailed by Election Day, lengthening the timeframe from three to nine days. The change was made as part of a legal settlement with voting rights advocates.

Joe Biden was introduced at Thursday night's Democratic National Convention by those nearest and dearest to him. Biden's children Ashley, 39, and Hunter, 50, appeared ahead of their father's keynote speech to laud him as "tough" and "honest." "We want to tell you what kind of president our dad will be... He'll tell you the truth even when you don't want to hear it," Ashley said, with Hunter adding, "He'll never let you down." "The strongest shoulder you can ever lean on," Hunter said, with Ashley adding, "He'll beam with pride every time you succeed." "He'll be the best friend,...

“Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. Matthew 10:24 O Lord our God, here you reveal truth in a seeming paradox. For though you are ‘our peace,’ fellowship with you will be costly. It will involve suffering, strife, opposition, persecution, and separation from the world and even from our own family. “And Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, “Behold, this child is appointed for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign that is opposed” Luke 2:...

The Wall Street Journal editorial board published a demand Tuesday evening that former Vice President Joe Biden answer questions about his son Hunter’s “influence-peddling” and “his own financial dealings — notably regarding China.” The editorial cites recent reports in the New York Post that Hunter Biden was exploring a lucrative business deal in 2017 with the CEFC China Energy Co. in which “the big guy” — allegedly Joe Biden himself — would be receiving a 10% share.

With Amy Coney Barrett expected to join the Supreme Court as early as next week, the court’s action in a Pennsylvania voting case has heightened fears among Democrats about the court being asked to decide a post-election dispute and with it, the winner of the White House. The justices split 4-4 Monday over a Republican plea to undo a state court order and force elections officials to ignore absentee ballots received after Election Day, Nov. 3. The tie vote left the Pennsylvania court order in effect and allows mailed ballots to be counted if they are received by Nov. 6....

Meet your (Chinese) Facebook censorsChina is one of the most censorious societies on earth. So what better place for Facebook to recruit social-media censors? There are at least half a dozen “Chinese nationals who are working on censorship,” a former Facebook insider told me last week. “So at some point, they [Facebook bosses] thought, ‘Hey, we’re going to get them H-1B visas so they can do this work.’ ” The insider shared an internal directory of the team that does much of this work. It’s called Hate-Speech Engineering (George Orwell, call your office), and most of its members are based...

An American businesswoman has admitted to having a years-long affair with British leader Boris Johnson — saying they even talked about starting a new life together in New York, according to a new interview. Jennifer Arcuri, 35, was previously investigated over allegations she received money and perks while Johnson was mayor of London — but always played coy about longstanding rumors of an affair. She finally admitted it in an interview with the Daily Mail newspaper, saying it “goes without saying” that they had an affair — and hinted that she is even using it as the plot for a...

More than 50 former intelligence officials said emails alleged to have been found on a laptop belonging to Hunter Biden show signs of a Russian disinformation operation. Several of the signers have endorsed Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, according to Politico, which first reported the letter. The letter states that its signers do not have new information about the emails and their authenticity. “We want to emphasize that we do not know if the emails, provided to the New York Post by President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, are genuine or not and that we do not have evidence of...

Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett served for nearly three years on the board of private Christian schools that effectively barred admission to children of same-sex parents and made it plain that openly gay and lesbian teachers weren’t welcome in the classroom. The policies that discriminated against LGBTQ people and their children were in place for years at Trinity Schools Inc., both before Barrett joined the board in 2015 and during the time she served. The three schools, in Indiana, Minnesota and Virginia, are affiliated with People of Praise, an insular community rooted in its own interpretation of the Bible,...

How familiar are most Americans with the ancient country of Armenia? It’s probably best recalled because of the great tragedy that took place there in the early 20th century—the Armenian Genocide. That massacre of some 1,500,000 Armenian Christians (along with the murder of around 750,000 Greek Christians) took place between 1914 and 1922. In recent days, violence has erupted once again in Armenia’s corner of the world. This involves Christian Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh versus Muslim Azerbaijan. And now, Islamist Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has entered the fray, fueled by his dream of a neo-Ottoman caliphate. On Monday, September 28, Germany’s Deutsche Welle (DW)...

On Hannity tonight: Robert Cahaly (Trafalgar) addressed the shy Trump voter and efforts they make to find anonymous ways for them to disclose who they are voting for and has been "doing a lot of digging around looking at these 'low propensity voters' and they are clearly in favor of Trump. And these are people who have only voted once or twice in the last 20 years and we see a strong enthusiasm for them to turn out and they are not being measured." "I've said for a while I see the President winning with a minimum of high 270's...
