A grand juror in the Breonna Taylor case will be able to speak publicly about what happened during the proceedings. An anonymous juror filed a motion late last month following the conclusion of the case in which one officer, Brett Hankison, was indicted, and the charges were not related to Taylor's death. While grand jury proceedings are typically secret, the juror felt talking about the case would provide more transparency about how and why jurors came to their decisions.

Today was day 2 of early voting at a polling location in Colorado. The polling location I went to is about 15 miles north of Denver. I went today as I thought that any bugs would be resolved and the polling personnel would have the routine down. I walked in at 11 a.m. and surrendered my mail in ballot. I was given a form to fill out and then proceeded to the desk where I presented my ID and was then given the option of filling out a paper ballot or using the touchscreen. I elected to use the touchscreen....

Debates between candidates for the Presidency have been conducted by something known as the Commission on Presidential Debates. Over the years it has deteriorated into a partisan quagmire. The board of directors are no longer associated with the two major parties, now consisting of former lawmakers and the CEOs of major companies, among others, but the lack of transparency about how the commission raises funds has attracted scrutiny. In 2008, the Center for Public Integrity labeled the Commission on Presidential Debates a “secretive tax-exempt organization.” The committee raises the bulk of its funds through private donors which have never been...

It didn’t surprise the informed, and understandably a bit cynical, to hear that the FBI sat on Hunter Biden’s laptop instead of seeking justice. The bureau was previously involved in an illegal plot to take down Donald Trump, after all, and its Deep State elements would assuredly love to see Joe Biden succeed him in January. So why would they reveal damning information on their establishment hope? Yet suppressing Huntergate perhaps provided a secondary benefit: The information could be used against Biden once he was in office. This wouldn’t be anything new. It’s believed that longtime, legendary FBI director J....

New to Oregon. I registered here as a Democrat. I learned to register as a democrat when I lived in Calif. If I registered as a republican at the DMV in Calif I would never receive a ballot. Now in Oregon, I received 2 ballots from the same county to the same address, same name on the same day. I miss the Pre Al Gore days when we had voting integrity. US elections are as honest as those behind the Iron Curtain. I am sure I am the only person this has happen too.
