Well, here’s a name that doesn’t pop up in the news all that often these days. The last time we heard from George Zimmerman (of Trayvon Martin shooting fame), he was suing Martin’s family for 100 million dollars. But his attorneys must have some extra time on their hands because two more lawsuits were just announced. And they’re being brought against Democratic primary hopefuls Elizabeth Warren and Pete Buttigieg. If that sounds rather strange to you it’s probably because, well… it is kind of strange. Zimmerman is claiming defamation and the source of his accusation is, of course, something from...

Former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg wants the Democratic Party to do a recount because of so-called irregularities and anomalies at multiple precincts, specifically involving early votes. Via Las Vegas Review-Journal: “Currently our data shows that this is a razor thin margin for second place in Nevada, and due to irregularities and a number of unresolved questions we have raised with the Nevada Democratic Party, it’s unclear what the final results will be,” said Hari Sevugan, Buttigieg’s deputy campaign manager. The Buttigieg campaign asked that the alleged errors...

Sen. Bernie Sanders says he wants “a political revolution.” His most ardent supporters say they want “blacklists” — their word, not mine. Revolution or blacklists? They are saying the same thing. If you want to know what Sanders’ “revolution” would look like, the answer is right there in front of your eyes: One part House Un-American Activities Committee, one part Maoist Cultural Revolution. ... Sanders puts forward a great many proposals that are, to put it charitably, unlikely to gain traction in DC, where Republicans still have a vote — especially if those Republicans retain control of one or more...

WEST PALM BEACH, Florida -- In a demonstration Thursday for the U.S. Army's top civilian official, a Sikorsky-Boeing team flew experimental helicopter prototypes that could one day become the service's next scout and assault rotorcraft under the Future Vertical Lift (FVL) program. This was the first flight demonstration of the Defiant for Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy. Sen. Tammy...

The authorities in Wuhan on Saturday introduced 14 days’ mandatory quarantine for recovered coronavirus patients, after some discharged patients again tested positive. USC will eliminate tuition for families earning $80,000 or less annually, part of an effort to increase access for middle and low-income students, the school announced Thursday. The new policies were announced in a statement by USC President Carol Folt. As part of the plan, the school will no longer consider home equity in financial aid calculations for applicants. Francis’ Nightmares for the Church: Analysis of New Apostolic Exhortation Francis had some dreams, but they are really nightmares for the Church. These are not the dreams of the Patriarch Joseph, nor those of St. Joseph or St. John Bosco. They clearly do not come from the same source as the visions granted to these holy men.On Feb. 12, 2020, the Vatican released the dreaded Apostolic Exhortation Querida Amazonia (QA), relating to the Synod on the Amazon that was held in Rome in October 2019. Dated February 2, the document is a bizarre relation of Francis’ “dreams” for the Amazon...

If Bernie Sanders continues his undefeated win streak in 2020 he deserves to be the Democratic nominee for president. So why all the agita? He’s undefeated through three contests. He’s growing his coalition and base of support. And he’s staying on message. How is this a mystery to people? In the modern era, he is also the culmination of what left-leaning politics has been yearning for. Face it, barring some radical recalibration, John F. Kennedy was the last moderate Democrat our society will likely see. From economic policy—be it taxes, government control and regulation—every Democratic administration since Kennedy got oppressively...
