Former Utah Rep. Jason Chaffetz questioned why House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff is allowed a security clearance when he “continues to lie.” “I still, to this day, do not understand why Adam Schiff has a security clearance. He continues to lie. He continues to put out information that he knows is not true. He has stood in front of the United States Senate and talked about things that are not in the impeachment,” Chaffetz told Fox & Friends. Chaffetz also responded to the news from the night before that Adam Schiff had warned that President Trump could sell Alaska...

President Trump will tell Americans in his annual State of the Union address Tuesday night that he and his supporters have “rejected the downsizing of America’s destiny” through an agenda of reduced taxes, low regulations and fair trade. “We are moving forward at a pace that was unimaginable just a short time ago, and we are never going back!” Mr. Trump will say, according to speech excerpts released by the White House. In his prime-time speech on the eve of his acquittal in his Senate impeachment trial, Mr. Trump will focus on the strong economy under his leadership that is...

Investigative journalism is challenging when the propagandists in mainstream and social media do everything they can to discredit the truth. This is what James O’Keefe at Project Veritas deals with on a regular basis as they drop bombshell after bombshell about Democrats, mainstream media, and Big Tech. Among those exposed by Project Veritas recently are Bernie Sanders’ campaign, CNN, and Twitter. This is why it’s not surprising Twitter has locked his account based on a Tweet last month that called for a correction from mainstream media.

Candidates, members of Congress, and activists are outraged over debate rule changes that bow to a billionaire. Grinnell, Iowa—Michael Moore could barely contain his fury. After the Democratic National Committee signaled Friday that it would abandon a grassroots-funding requirement that ensured candidates had to prove their appeal by attracting tens of thousands of small donations, Moore told a crowd of 2,500 that had packed into a cavernous concert hall near Des Moines, “You had to show you had a certain number of Americans that would give you a buck, that’s all the rule said, to show you have support. And...

When the race for president began with Sens. Kamala Harris and Cory Booker and former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Julián Castro, it was hailed as the most diverse Democratic presidential field in history. By the end of January, damn near every candidate of color had withdrawn from the race. And all of them could cite one culprit as the reason for their withdrawal: the stringent and unwavering debate rules of the Democratic National Committee. “In the seven months since they were first announced, the standards—a combination of increasingly higher polling and fundraising thresholds—have upended various campaigns’ tactics and...

I'm thinking of going to the convention in Charlotte and there is nothing on the website that refers to it. Just put down your email address, phone number and click to donate. Trump is fighting our enemies alone and the RNC appears just to go along for the ride. I stopped contributing years ago for reasons you all can understand. Doesn't seem any different now. That's $1-5k they're passing up. I don't think the Democrats are this lackadaisical.

At least ten House Democrats planned to boycott President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address Tuesday night, as the Senate is expected to vote to acquit the commander in chief in his impeachment trial the next day. U.S. Rep. Ayanna Pressley announced via Tweet that she will not be attending President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address Tuesday night. “I am not attending tonight’s sham,” she tweeted around 5 p.m. In the tweet, she retweeted a message from her official congressional account that included a photo of her dressed in black, arms folded, in front of the U.S....

COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A woman is recovering after her hands were crushed and became trapped while changing a flat tire along I-95 Sunday evening. According to the Colleton County Fire-Rescue, a 54-year-old Charlotte woman was stopped along I-95 near mile marker 68 after her car experienced a flat tire. Fire-Rescue officials said the woman was replacing her tire with a spare when the jack slipped, causing the car to fall and crush both of her hands between the tire and the fender. The woman then used some innovative thinking to call for help. “She was trapped alone on...

Nigeria: Muslims vow to “take this battle across the sea,” conquer “every territory currently occupied by Kafirs” FEB 4, 2020 5:00 PM BY ROBERT SPENCER Anyone who points out the Qur’anic roots of this imperative (“Fight them until religion is all for Allah,” 8:39) is of course “Islamophobic” and “bigoted.” And of course it’s fanciful. But many more people will die as the Fulani pursue it. “Trouble in Nigeria: Fulani group claims ownership of land from Sokoto to the Atlantic,” PM News Nigeria, February 2, 2020 (thanks to The Religion of Peace): A little known Fulani group that calls itself...

Maryland voters in the Baltimore area are heading to the polls Tuesday to choose who will be their party’s nominee to finish the rest of the late Rep. Elijah Cummings' term in Congress. The race to fill the vacated seat is a crowded one, with 24 Democrats and eight Republicans vying for their parties’ nomination in the 7th Congressional District special primary. Given the heavily-Democrat makeup of the district, however, whoever wins the primary is expected to be the candidate to fill Cummings’ seat. A special general election will take place on April 28 -- the same day that Maryland...

At least 11 Democratic lawmakers are boycotting the Capitol Tuesday night where President Donald Trump will give his first State of the Union address. That’s fewer than the 60 lawmakers who boycotted President Trump’s inauguration, but it’s not an insignificant number as the president makes a major address on his policy goals. Many of the Democrats boycotting Trump’s State of the Union address cited the president’s recent rhetoric about people of color and the perceived racism of his Administration as their reason for skipping the speech. Illinois Rep. Bobby Rush said in a statement Monday that he refuses to “participate...

MSNBC political analyst Zerlina Maxwell referred to the Iowa caucuses as the “perfect example of systemic racism.” Reacting to reports of mediocre turnout, Maxwell also took a shot at President Trump's hard-line immigration policies. “The Iowa caucus is essentially the perfect example of systemic racism,” Maxwell said Monday on MSNBC. “91% of the voters in Iowa are white. The reason why you see a drop in turnout, I’m just speculating here, it could be perhaps that white children are not in the cages.” Maxwell is not alone in claiming that white people have an outsized influence in the Iowa caucuses....

Shortly after Ocasio-Cortez's tweet, Representative Maxine Waters, 81, announced she would follow suit. Help coming for Michigan's hard-working Iraqi ChristiansDETROIT (ChurchMilitant.com) - President Donald Trump is promising to stop the deportation of Michigan's Iraqi Catholics, who face persecution abroad. Trump announced his decision on Thursday at the Dana factory in Warren, Michigan during his visit promoting the trade deal he signed with Canada and Mexico a day earlier. The president told Dana personnel he'd made up his mind to help Michigan's Iraqi Christians, virtually all of whom are Catholic, earlier that day while en route to Michigan for his fifth visit as president. "We have some Chaldeans that are working here," said Trump....

Merriam-Webster defines “rage” as “violent and uncontrolled anger.” It is a sudden reaction, as in “road rage.” It is not planned and it is not controlled. Hence, you cannot plan a day of uncontrolled anger due to a sudden reaction and call it a “Day of Rage.” Mahmoud Abbas of the so-called Palestinian Authority called for a Day of Rage in response to U.S. President Donald Trump's “Deal of the Century” -- which would gradually give Abbas' people a state alongside Israel in as much as 70% of the lands which Israelis term “disputed” and the Palestinians and their supporters...

Here’s another first for President Trump’s impeachment: He will be giving the State of the Union address Tuesday night, less than 24 hours before the Senate is expected to acquit him and end impeachment proceedings. President Bill Clinton had to deliver his State of the Union during impeachment, in the middle of his Senate trial. And he never once mentioned impeachment during his 77-minute address, reports The Post’s Paul Kane.... Let’s look at some of the most common process arguments they use not to convict Trump. 1. Democrats held witness depositions behind closed doors 2. Democrats subpoenaed witnesses before they...

A de facto split has already occurred in the Anglican Communion and the only question now is if and when it becomes de jure. The Anglican Archbishop of South America, the Most Rev. Gregory Venables said the inescapable truth is that it is bound to happen, with the biggest challenge being how to avoid or accomplish it. Addressing the future of the communion following the meeting of some 37 Anglican primates in Jordan called together at the request of Archbishop Justin Welby, the titular head of the communion, Venables, an outspoken evangelical, said a number of Anglicans were walking in...

WINDSOR TERRACE — The Diocese of Buffalo, N.Y., faces near certain bankruptcy after it posted a $5 million loss in 2019, in large part because of the financial impact of the sexual abuse crisis that has plagued the diocese for almost two years. The diocese’s assets fell by $21.7 million, according to the diocese’s annual financial report released Jan. 30. “In response to the magnitude of the number of claims, and alleged damages, the CAO (Central Administrative Offices of the Diocese of Buffalo) has determined that a filing of a voluntary petition for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the Federal...
