Several days ago we anticipated a potentially important point we hoped would start the impeachment defense for President Donald Trump. Today, attorney Patrick Philbin delivered. The issue is a critical constitutional component that needed emphasis, and it is good to see pundits finally starting to realize the significance. White House Counsel Patrick Philbin explains why House subpoenas were illegitimate: the subpoena power was never authorized; the initiating subpoena power was never voted on. Additionally, and specifically by design, absent a penalty for non-compliance, which factually makes a subpoena a ‘subpoena’, the Executive Branch had no constitutional pathway or process to...

“Walking in the Light Together” (Matthew 4:12-25) “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness, on them has light shone.” So Isaiah prophesied, some seven hundred years before Christ. Then when Christ came on the scene and began his ministry, that prophecy was fulfilled, as Matthew records: “The people dwelling in darkness have seen a great light, and for those dwelling in the region and shadow of death, on them a light has dawned.” Who were those people on whom the light dawned? Certainly, it was those people...

George Soros is 89 years old, but by gosh, before he dies, he’s going to see to the internal destruction of America. At least that’s how it seems. How else can we listen to his words in Davos, Switzerland, track his funding of American political races and pay attention to what he says about President Donald Trump, capitalism, and the leftist causes he backs and the leftist Open Society Foundations he runs, and come to any other conclusion? In the last few years, Soros has taken to trying to take over local law enforcement agencies by pumping massive amounts of...

The U.S. economy is in the midst of the longest-running expansion in its history and would likely see further upside if President Trump secured a second term. With a record 127 consecutive months of expansion and an unemployment rate at a 50-year low of 3.5 percent, the economy has been bolstered by Trump’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which lowered the top corporate rate from 35 percent to 21 percent and reduced personal income taxes for many Americans. Getting four more years of similar policies isn't a foregone conclusion, though, with the election only 282 days away and Trump undergoing...

Dear Freepers, I am asking for prayer for my Dad. He is in the hospital with what appears to be a subdural hematoma . He also had a heart surgery a few years ago for a valve replacement and a string of operations in the last few years. I think they will be doing surgery on him tomorrow but I am not...

“The Titanic” was the longest feature film ever produced. It has been surpassed with the debut of the 36-hour-opening argument for impeachment produced by Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif. Trump gets acquitted. So how much is enough? Relentless attempts to go after Trump’s finances have had no end. The Mueller report and Trump-Russia collusion theory lived on for years through a $32 million investigation. Now, after holding up the...
