“I know it looks complicated, but this is really very simple,” the Senate Judiciary Committee member said. “From a larger perspective, here's what's going on. Large portions of the political establishment here in Washington, D.C. think the American people are morons and they're not qualified to pick their own president and that's why they want to replace President Trump.” “This case is about two issues,” Kennedy, R-La., added. “Why did the president ask for an investigation? Was he investigating a political rival or was he investigating corruption? And number two, what did Hunter Biden do for the money? Now, you...

I’ve done a lot of Form 990 analysis on this blog over the years, but a change to the tax requirements for non-profits gives us some more insight. Previously, the IRS did not make the Schedule B public, which for most non-profits lists any donor over $5,000, but for 501(c)(3)s lists any donor that goes over 2% of funds raised. Recently the rule was changed so that non-profits could submit their Schedule B without identifying information. This provides some transparency but without allowing the Twitter mobs to target big donors. So Everytown raised a record 67 million dollars in 2018,...

Sen. Rand Paul is offering President Trump “a ticket” to attend his Senate impeachment trial after Trump mused to reporters about wanting a front row seat so he could stare into Democratic senators’ “corrupt faces.” “He’s welcome any time. I’ve got a ticket for him,” the Kentucky Republican told the New York Post. “In fact, I’ll probably send a ticket over to the White House today for him.” Senators control most tickets in the spectator gallery that rings the Senate chamber. During the first day of the trial Tuesday, a marathon debate on rules and procedure that ran to nearly...

Two years ago, President Trump has been in the climate-change doghouse ever since he announced the withdrawal of the United States from the Paris Climate Accord. Many people blasted Trump’s decision to withdraw the U.S. from the Paris climate accord. They criticized President Trump’s decision, saying that Trump’s decision to back away from the Paris climate agreement would doom the Earth. Last year things started to change. The German daily newspaper Die Welt has proclaimed U.S. President Donald Trump “the most successful climate protector in the world” after a new global climate report revealed that the U.S. carbon dioxide emissions...

RUSH: I think what’s happening here in this impeachment trial is them making the case for 20 — ’cause, you know, if you like at their side, look at their presidential campaign, it’s a disaster. It’s an absolute disaster. There isn’t any unity on the Democrat side. It’s obvious who hates who over there. Hillary Clinton’s got her nose out of joint so bad still over having lost that she’s trying to sabotage everybody else on the Democrat side, including Crazy Bernie. She’s walked back some criticism of Crazy Bernie because she been under incredible pressure to do so. But...

It comes as British experts said up to 10,000 people could already be infected - adding that we can't rule out the possibility" there could already be a case in the UK. Professor Neil Ferguson, an expert at Imperial College London, said the new...

Now, today is supposed to be the start of the opening arguments in this so-called impeachment trial. Never mind the Democrats could not wait, they turned a debate that was supposed to be about whether to call witnesses before or after opening arguments into their opening arguments. They did their opening argument yesterday as part...

Meghan Markle, an actress best known for her role on the USA network series Suits is now adding another role to her CV: deprogrammer. “Extracting a cult member is notoriously difficult, managing to do it after joining the cult itself is almost unheard of,” says cult expert Joanie Gorski. “This is one for the history books. Or at least several dozen podcasts.” The Cult of Windsor, which in its current form dates back to 1917, is known for being insular and territorial. Along with documented instances of incest and the grooming of teenage brides, accusations of pedophilia have also recently...

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders has improved his standing in the national Democratic race for president, joining former Vice President Joe Biden in a two-person top tier above the rest of the field, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS. The poll marks the first time Biden has not held a solo lead in CNN’s national polling on the race. “Overall, 27% of registered voters who are Democrats or Democratic-leaning independents back Sanders, while 24% favor Biden. The margin between the two is within the poll’s margin of sampling error, meaning there is no clear leader in this poll....

Okay, today I suppose I’m trying to outdo myself for “old schoolishness”! This is a protocol I’ve been using to help restore function to my injured shoulder, as well as to help decompress my spine. WATCH VIDEO. I tweaked the shoulder a year ago doing bench dips. I overextended the movement, which isn’t that hard to do, it’s one reason why the exercise—and regular dips too—can be dangerous to the shoulder girdle. Don’t get me wrong—dips can be an excellent chest, shoulder, tricep, and serratus anterior muscle (over and above the ribcage) exercise. But you have to be very careful...

Former national security adviser Michael Flynn told a federal judge on Wednesday that he should be sentenced at a maximum to probation and community service over charges that he lied to the FBI. In a court filing Wednesday, Flynn’s attorneys repeatedly cited their client’s past military service and volunteer work as evidence that he does not deserve to serve time behind bars. “While the defendants in other cases cited by the government were working to benefit themselves, Mr. Flynn wrote a blank check on his life and put himself in harm’s way for more than five years in foreign deployments...

There’s no denying that the healthcare system in the United States has been at the forefront of national discourse in the midst of the democratic presidential primaries. Of course, largely due to the fact that Bernie Sanders has made it his mission to draw attention to and change the fundamental brokenness of the current system. Now it should come as no surprise that calls for an overhaul of the way health insurance is provided — such as Bernie’s Medicare For All plan — have been met with staunch resistance not just from the left, but the more moderate, corporate friendly wing of the Democratic...

The entire endorsement is a play for the 'we’re all winners' generation. To prioritize one candidate would require courage, which cannot be expected from the newspaper that pushes the ahistorical '1619 Project' for clicks. “Senator Warren is a gifted storyteller,” or so the New York Times would have us believe in what could be termed as one of the strangest pieces of political pamphleteering in modern Western history. The entire endorsement, if one can call it that, is a play for the “we’re all winners” generation. It is like the new fashion in literature prizes, where everyone is a winner...

Historian Niall Ferguson has slammed Greta Thunberg’s climate change hypocrisy at Davos, asking why “I don’t see her in Beijing or Delhi.” Teenage environmentalist Thunberg gave another hysterical speech at the global confab yesterday in which she claimed, “Our house is still on fire. Your inaction is fueling the flames by the hour. We are still telling you to panic, and to act as if you loved your children above all else.” “We don’t want these things done in 2050, 2030, or even 2021,” Thunberg said. “We want this done now.” Ferguson, Senior Fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution, questioned...

Princeton’s Sean Wilentz is one of five historians who sent a letter to the NY Times last month requesting that the paper address factual errors in the 1619 Project. In response, the NY Times published the letter along with a lengthy response denying that any corrections were necessary. Today, Wilentz has written a piece for the Atlantic in which he addresses three false claims in the 1619 Project in more detail. He begins with the claim by lead-author Nikole Hannah-Jones that “one of the primary reasons the colonists decided to declare their independence from Britain was because they wanted...

Before becoming the president of the United States, Donald Trump was one of the most well-known real estate moguls in the world. Thanks to years of making lucrative deals, he has amassed a net worth estimated to be $3.5 billion. The Trump Organization LLC acts as the primary holding company for Trump's array of companies and is his primary source of wealth. Before his inauguration in January 2017, it was announced that Trump would step down as Chairman of the Trump Organization and have his sons run the company.
