BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Police say 24-year-old Najee Shabazz Jackson of Buffalo crashed a car through the front of a bar on Chippewa Street on Sunday morning. Several people were injured. Buffalo Police say the crash occurred around 4:20 a.m. at Bottoms Up in the heart of the Chippewa entertainment district. Police say Jackson was charged with reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, and assault. Other charges are pending, and he's still being treated for injuries at Erie County Medical Center. The driver and a few patrons of the bar were injured, but police say their injuries do not appear to be...
  • Baltimore Needs Revival, Not More Federal Money

One could consider the billions trillions of dollars in taxpayer funds already spent on places like Baltimore a form of reparations.  But it should be clear by now that more money from the government is not going to fix places like Baltimore. Ever since Lyndon Johnson and the Democratic Party gave us the infamous promises of the "Great Society" — which was supposed to result in "the total elimination of poverty and racial injustice" — for decades, liberals across the U.S. have promised minorities, especially black Americans, that if they would only vote for Democrats, life would be better. Fifty-five years,...

Gallup recently announced that forty percent of all Americans believe in creationism. A better storyline to its recent polling data might be that only one in five Americans believes in Darwinism, which was a wobbly theory when first proposed almost two centuries ago and which has become an increasingly improbable explanation for the origin of life and species during the last two hundred years. That would be a better storyline, but it is not the storyline presented by Gallup. Darwinists are invariably the product of an educational system that has as little to do with free thought as the educational...

The run for the 2020 election is turning into a contest between two dramatically different visions for America's future. Our nation is rapidly facing an inflection point as we approach the next election concerning the future political direction of our country. Two diametrically opposite sets of political ideas are in direct competition for the support of the majority of Americans. With the active support of the mainstream media, the various elements on the Left work hard to project the appearance of having the majority of political public opinion in their favor. However, a little covered story that was recently released...

On Friday I appeared live on Red Ice TV’s YouTube channel and was informed that due to YouTube’s increasingly censorious policies, I must refrain from using the “R” word—“replacement”—when referring to the fact that only European-majority nations are being forced to dilute their ethnic majorities with nonwhite immigration. It’s been said a billion times, but no one in authority is calling for Africa to become less black or for China to become less Chinese.

In the El Paso shooting’s wake, evident is same wash-rinse-repeat pattern. There are the inevitable calls for gun control by demagogues concerned only about people control, those who put the onus on whites when most mass shooters are non-white, and propagandists who blame the “Right” when most violence originates with the “Left.” It’s quite tiresome, really. In truth, the main underlying cause of increased mass-murder events -- and so much evil in general -- is a severe philosophical/spiritual malaise besetting our nation. Were gun control the remedy here, mass shootings would be rare. Not only were there fewer firearm laws...

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) Thanks for that, Joe. We know you’re so darn sincere. – Elderly Democrat presidential front-runner Joe Biden, speaking at a high-dollar fundraiser in San Diego on Sunday, comforted the mourning people of El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio by offering his heartfelt sympathies over the “tragic events in Houston today and also in Michigan the day before.” You just seriously could never make these people up, folks. That Dayton shooter? He was an Elizabeth Warren fan. – So he said himself on his Twitter profile, which was dug up by law enforcement...

Desperate times call for desperate measures. For the Democratic Party, these are desperate times indeed. The 2020 presidential election is 15 months away and Democrats have no serious candidate to challenge President Trump. Instead they have twenty delusional candidates, each trying to out-left each other, to be more “woke” toward the latest social justice grievance. How else to explain whiter-than-white Kirsten Gillibrand lecturing us on white privilege or the vice-president of the first black president, Joe Biden, being accused of racism by the faux African-American Kamala Harris, who is by nationality is actually half-Indian and half-Jamaican? Democrats are desperate because...

Mark Twain once said, “The difference between the almost right word and the right word is really a large matter -- ‘tis the difference between the lightning bug and the lightning.” Donald Trump is a nationalist who supports all things American, and has admitted as much. What he is not is a white nationalist -- a detail that, like a decimal point, seems minor on the surface yet really is the difference between a lightning bug and lightning. Yet Democrats and the hard left continue to play with lightning, incessantly labeling Trump a white nationalist despite knowing how such language...

Former Congressman Steve Stockman is unfairly serving a 10-year prison term for supposedly misusing nonprofit funds. The popular Texas conservative was convicted due to an improper trial against him, with prosecutors presenting incorrect information to the jury and getting the judge to agree to prohibit him from producing helpful evidence. They claimed he misused funds from two nonprofits he worked with — but the money went for voter education and youth training as promised. This is not fraud but a drive-by political hit by Andrew Weismann, chief of the criminal fraud section of the DOJ and Andrew McCabe, formerly of...

Once again, a celebrity or politician has apologized for offending the left-wing puritans on social media. This time, Mario Lopez, a newly hired host of Access Hollywood, apologized for opining that 3-year-old children should not determine their gender. This statement was made in June on a podcast program with conservative commentator Candace Owens. Of course, the remark was both innocuous and sensible as children that young should not be making any major decisions, that is why they hopefully have two loving parents. Unfortunately, in our society today, intelligent opinions are often treated as insensitive to certain communities. In this case,...

My purpose here is not to comment on the unspeakably tragic, mind-bogglingly ugly shootings in El Paso and Dayton. As a nation, we mourn and grieve. And until we have more facts and information, I don’t believe it is wise to comment on the motivation of the shooters. But I believe it is an opportune time to renounce white nationalism. It is unAmerican, it is unChristian, and it is deadly.America’s greatness is not color-based. It is not ethnically driven. America’s greatness is derived from the vision of our Founders, a vision that was largely Christian, driven by biblical principles.Because of those principles, the...

ACAYUCAN, Mexico — Migrants have been held in a wrestling arena, at a fairground and in government offices. They’ve been forced to sleep in hallways, on an outdoor basketball court, even directly on the hard ground. Mexico’s detention centers have at times reached triple, quadruple and even quintuple their capacity. Detainees at some centers have endured extreme heat, bedbug infestations, overflowing toilets, days without showers...

The latest round of tragic mass-shootings by scumbags-who-will-not-be-named-here – two of them in two days – predictably brings the latest calls to “do something.” Liberals, as usual, politicize such tragedies to call for America to “do something” about guns. Conservatives want to “do something” about violent video games, target hardening, and prayer in schools. And in potential hate-crime cases like the El Paso shooting (in this instance, the shooter’s alleged manifesto included anti-immigrant rhetoric that liberals like Judd Legum insist came “directly from Trump’s Twitter feed”) both sides want to “do something” about white supremacy. After watching the heartbreaking coverage from...

Money is one of the world's most widely used but least understood technologies. We often wonder how human society could have evolved—or even existed—without language. But could we have cooperated without money? Language enables us to share information, our inner worlds. With collaboration and trade, later improved upon by money, we share our value, in the form of our goods and services. Without people to use it with, money is powerless—and yet we live with the feeling that money holds a tremendous amount of power over us. ...... This is Money 3.0, in which money comes from people. Which people?...

President Trump on Sunday forcefully denounced two mass shootings in Ohio and Texas, saying "hate has no place in our country." As the president spoke, top Democratic presidential candidates -- including Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Cory Booker -- demanded Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell recall Congress from its recess, currently slated to last until the second week of September, to vote on initiatives to curb gun violence. Addressing reporters in Morristown, New Jersey, Trump promised "we're going to take care" of the problem. He said he's been speaking to the attorney general, FBI director and members of Congress and...

A familiar quote, often attributed to Winston Churchill and later appropriated by the leftist, radical, Saul Alinsky goes, “Never let a good crisis go to waste.” Whoever originally coined the concept, the anti-Second Amendment crowd is certainly taking it to heart. In the last 48 hours, we have seen two horrific mass shootings. The blame game has ensued. Yet, lost in the impending storm of side taking is the recognition of the actual world we live in, and any ultimately fruitless assault on Americans' Second Amendment freedoms plainly ignores reality. The Second Amendment guarantees the right to keep and bear...
