There's no room for Columbus Day in Columbus, Ohio. Or for George Washington in George Washington High School. There’s plans in the works to cover a mural of George Washington from the halls of George Washington High School in San Francisco due to complaints that it’s offensive and demeaning to Native Americans and African Americans. The San Francisco school board is expected to decide next week whether to cover the image or paint over it, but there’s no plans among top officials to leave the imagery in the open for students to view, according to several Bay Area news reports.

RUSH: So I got an interesting email. “Mr. Limbaugh, what do you think or who do you think is really stirring up this business with Iran?” It’s a good question, ’cause you know who’s buddy-buddy with Iran and who has been over there attempting to undermine Trump administration on policy with Iran is none other than John Kerry — the haughty John Kerry, who served in Vietnam. I think that his daughter married some Revolutionary Guard assassin or something, some such thing. His daughter married somebody from over there. The foreign minister’s third cousin, I don’t know what, but there’s...

By now nearly everyone who is well-versed in Barack Obama’s “Spygate” operation aimed at taking out POTUS Donald Trump is aware of the infamous “Steele Dossier” — an opposition research document financed by the Hillary Clinton campaign and produced by former British spy Christopher Steele using Russian disinformation sources. We also know that the dossier was a) very, very bogus; but b) nevertheless held up as legitimate intelligence by the Obama regime’s deep state; and c) used by the FBI and presented to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court to get a warrant to spy on 2016 Trump campaign figure Carter...

A federal judge in Boston has temporarily banned ICE agents from making arrests in or around Massachusetts courthouses. The preliminary injunction came down today from U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani, an Obama appointee, and gives Suffolk DA Rachael Rollins and Middlesex DA Marian Ryan a big victory. Both had filed suit in federal court seeking to boot immigration officers from district courts. Judge Talwani states in her two-page preliminary injunction that the court “ORDERS that Defendants” ICE and the acting Director Matthew T. Albence, and ICE’s Todd M. Lyons in Boston along with the federal Department of Homeland Security stop...

The polls don't look good for Donald Trump. I mean, by any normal yardstick, the President is heading for a defeat in the 2020 election. He's lagging behind in many of the crucial states that swung the White House his way in 2016 - like Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. Indeed, the polls look so worrying that Trump's team fired several internal pollsters when the shock numbers leaked, in a Kim Jong-un style 'do not bring the boss bad news' move. Yet when Trump launched his 2020 campaign on Tuesday night in Orlando, Florida, I didn't sense I was watching a...

Thursday on ABC’s “The View,” guest co-host Ana Navarro attacked President Donald Trump’s supporters while defending former Vice President Joe Biden on his comments about working with segregationists. Navarro said, “I think Cory Booker is taking advantage of the situation to try to get some attention. Right? With 20 people running everything he can do. You are absolutely right. Joe Biden is not a racist. It’s why he has strong support from the African-American community.” She added, “But I also I don’t like that he did this because he’s dragging up these dead racists instead of us talking about the...

Beto O’Rourke just keeps running—not only toward the 2020 presidential race, but also by lacing up and pounding the pavement as a way to connect with the people. Back in March, the 2020 presidential hopeful ran a St. Patrick’s Day-themed 5K while campaigning in the Hawkeye state, finishing in 24:29, which earned him a third-place finish in his age group. This past week, he’s been running to raise awareness for LGBTQ+ issues. On Saturday, June 8, the 46-year-old ran in the 2019 Pride Fun Run 5K, which was part of the Pride Fest Weekend held in Des Moines, Iowa. He...

As U.S.-China friction escalates, the rhetoric in Washington has grown increasingly ugly and hostile. The Trump administration, concerned about intellectual property theft and other questionable behavior on the part of Beijing, has embarked on a program of targeting students and professionals of Chinese descent. Not only are these actions antithetical to America’s immigrant roots, they are damaging to U.S. interests and competitiveness. Stoking racial divides is exactly the wrong way to fight the problem. The U.S. has long had policy differences with the People’s Republic of China, but the current White House and the national security community have ratcheted up...

Millennials are already aging out of higher education. The class of 2019 is the last of the generation to graduate college. Like many of their generational peers, this year's grads are walking into an affordability crisis for young Americans. It's triggered by several factors, including rising living costs, increasing student debt, and the ongoing fallout of the recession. Multiple studies show that millennials have less purchasing power than previous generations did at the same age. While millennials have benefited from a 67% rise in wages since 1970, according to Student Loan Hero, that increase isn't enough to keep up with...

A panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals today allowed the Trump administration to deny federal funding to entities that commit abortions on site, a temporary but significant victory for the pro-life movement. The court will continue to consider lawsuits against the rule while it is in effect. In February, the Trump administration rolled out rules requiring facilities that receive family planning grant money Title X services to be physically separate from those that commit or refer for abortions. Under the previous rules, Title X services and abortions could “co-locate” in the same center, as long as the...

Alabama Republican Roy Moore has announced he is running for U.S. Senate again in 2020 after failing to win the seat two years ago amid sexual misconduct accusations. Moore announced his campaign Thursday, seeking an eventual rematch against Democratic Sen. Doug Jones. The announcement upends an election viewed by Republicans as a top priority in 2020 and ignores President Donald Trump's warning that he "cannot win."

Washington (CNN)A three-judge panel of the 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in favor of the Trump administration on Thursday, temporarily allowing revised regulations to go into effect that prohibit taxpayer-funded family planning clinics from talking about abortion with patients or referring patients to abortion providers. The panel of three Republican-appointed judges in the San Francisco-based court said the so-called abortion gag rule from the Department of Health and Human Services can go into effect pending the outcome of an appeal of three lower court rulings blocking the changes to Title X from going into effect. "To find that...

An Arkansas woman claims Hunter Biden is the father of her child — and she’s suing to prove it. Lunden Alexis Roberts, 28, filed a petition for paternity and child support against Joe Biden’s lawyer son, saying she gave birth to his kid, “Baby Doe,” in August 2018, according to court papers. The two-page suit was filed in Independence County, Arkansas, on May 28 — nearly two weeks after Hunter tied the knot with a South African woman named Melissa Cohen. Roberts wants a court to establish that the 49-year-old father of three is her baby’s biological dad. She is...

President Donald Trump’s pollster on Thursday put in writing his prediction that Sen. Elizabeth Warren would soon lead the Democratic primary field, estimating that her rise, coinciding with former Vice President Joe Biden's fall, would be cemented by October. GOP strategist Ward Baker on Thursday commented on a video of Biden refusing to apologize for comments touting his past ability to work with segregationist senators to get things done in the chamber. "By October he will be #3 in polls," he tweeted. "Just give it time." "Agreed," Trump pollster Tony Fabrizio responded, tagging Warren in the tweet, "and @ewarren will...

True the Vote, a nonpartisan conservative election integrity group that fought a nearly decade-long battle with the IRS and other federal agencies that unfairly targeted the group, has won a major decision in federal court and shall be awarded maximum attorney fees. “This is a huge victory for every American who thinks that they can’t go up against the government and get what they deserve,” Catherine Engelbrecht, True the Vote’s founder, told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview ahead of the group’s public announcement of the victory. “This is an opportunity to make very clear that we didn’t back away...

At Wednesday night’s world premiere of the “Child’s Play” remake, it was obvious that evil doll Chucky — the star of seven films over three decades — had a little work done. And now he bears a striking resemblance to Donald Trump’s Mini-Me. “Oh, you caught that?” Aubrey Plaza told Variety on the black carpet outside ArcLight Hollywood. “I’m waiting for all of the think pieces to come out about this issue,” she continued. “I mean, what can I say? The thought crossed my mind a couple of times. Maybe I improvised some lines about it. Maybe they made it...

Jon Bates owns Addicted to Fitness, a gym in Naples, Florida. As a personal trainer, he ends his nights by running 3.5 to 4 miles for both mental therapy and as a way to get his workout in. Bates said his friends give him a hard time about being outside in the humidity and heat when he has access to an air-conditioned gym, but he enjoys his outdoor runs, and the chance to sweat in the fresh air. So last Monday, he set out for his usual run, but on a slightly different route. He told Runner’s World he kept...

Dominican Republic health officials say the Maryland woman found dead last month with her fiancé in a hotel room likely died from the “shock” of seeing her partner dead. Ministry of Public Health spokesman Carlos Suero insisted that the Caribbean country shouldn’t be blamed for the series of tourist deaths on the island, which includes Cynthia Ann Day and fiancé Nathaniel Holmes. Suero claimed that Holmes died, then Day followed, “probably from the shock of seeing the person beside her dead.”

The web site for the Second Amendment Sisters is up for bid. Old timers here will remember this was an organization that spun off FreeRepublic in 1999. Someone here may want to grab that.
