A councilman of a South Carolina town was arrested Saturday after he assaulted a police officer who pulled over the politician’s wife following an altercation at a McDonald’s, the St. George Police Department said. I saw Godzilla, King of the Monsters today. I've been a fan of the big lizard since I was a kid. However, I was disappointed in the movie today. I won't give any spoilers.Special effects are very good. Plot line is good. My problem with the movie, and this may not bother others, was the use of profanity, especially taking God's name, throughout the movie. There is also a reference to God as "she". I would recommend avoidance of this movie for these reasons.Sadly, this will be my last Godzilla movie I will go see.

A military judge on Monday took the rare step of removing a prosecutor accused of misconduct from the war crimes case of a decorated Navy SEAL. Capt. Aaron Rugh ordered Cmdr. Over the weekend, Chicago saw its most violent days and nights so far this year. A total of 52 people were shot between Friday night and Sunday night. Ten of those victims were killed, according to NBC News. In 2017, Moore lost by nearly 22,000 votes, a margin of 1.7%, to now-Sen. Doug Jones (D-Mountain Brook) for a seat that is up once again in 2020.
