The Knesset voted Wednesday night to dissolve itself after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu failed to form a governing coalition, sending Israel to a new election mere seven weeks after the last one. At the heart of the impasse was the issue of drafting ultra-Orthodox yeshiva students: Yisrael Beiteinu's Avigdor Lieberman, without whom Netanyahu can't form a coalition, refused to back down on the bill's terms, while ultra-Orthodox parties claimed they have already yielded enough ground. MK Avigdor Lieberman wrote on his Facebook page that Likud holds responsibility for the repeat election because of its refusal to vote on bill to...

Australian military helicopters were targeted with lasers during operations in the South China Sea this month. "Some helicopter pilots had lasers pointed at them from passing fishing vessels," Euan Graham of the Australian Strategic Policy Institute wrote on The Strategist blog, who was aboard the warship from which the aircraft were operating. At sea, fishermen are known to use lasers to warn off other vessels that may be getting too close to them. "That makes sense for collision of vessels, but obviously there is no direct threat from aircraft to vessels in the South China Sea," Graham said. "The maritime...

FLEMINGTON, NJ – Congressman Andy Kim’s failure to salute the American flag at a Memorial Day ceremony was apparently only one example of less-than-respective behavior by the state’s House Democrat delegation. On Tuesday, the NJGOP called out Kim’s colleague Tom Malinowski (D, NJ-07) for appearing to doze off at a ceremony honoring World War II veteran Archie Fagan hosted at the Flemington Jewish Community Center.

One of the main indicators used by economists to measure the health of the nation’s economy is housing starts – the number of private homes being built around the nation. In 2018 housing starts fell in all four regions of the nation, representing the biggest drop since 2016. While many economists point to issues such as higher material costs as a reason for the drop in housing starts, a much more ominous reason may be emerging. Across the nation, city councils and state legislatures are beginning to remove zoning protections for single-family neighborhoods, claiming they are racist discrimination designed to...

MT. HOLLY, N.J. – Freshman Democrat Andy Kim (D, NJ-03) stirred controversy on social media over the Memorial Day holiday weekend when a picture surfaced of the South Jersey Congressman appearing to decline to salute the flag at a district memorial service. Critics say Kim’s apparent decision to keep his hands folded while everyone else saluted was disrespectful:

[Catholic Caucus] Pope Francis responds to heresy accusation, China concerns Vatican City, May 29, 2019 / 10:05 am (CNA).- Pope Francis said he reacted “with a sense of humor” to the accusation of heresy made against him earlier this month.“It does not hurt me at all. Hypocrisy and lies hurt me, these hurt me. But such a mistake, where there are even people who have filled their heads with … no, please, you have to take care of them too,” Pope Francis said in a Spanish interview published May 28.Mexican journalist Valentina Alazraki asked the pope how he took the...

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - A concealed carry holder shot and critically wounded someone who approached him with a gun Monday in Little Village on the Southwest Side. Neither life nor politics are fair – which is demonstrated by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s current situation: whether or not to allow the House of Representatives to send articles of impeachment to the Senate. After all, President Trump was the target of a special prosecutor who could not determine whether or not the president committed obstruction of justice. Yet, Pelosi is the most uncomfortable. She is caught between progressives who want the president impeached yesterday and moderates who don’t want any discussion of impeachment at all. The statement by Special Counsel Robert Mueller on Wednesday certainly won’t help matters. In...

If the treasonous DeepState/Democrat coup conspirators try to impeach President Trump on their trumped up charges, we'll have to have the mother of all MAGA rallies on the mall! Can you imagine 30 million mad-as-hell patriots flooding every street in DC, marching in support of our president and our nation? And being the fighter he is, I can imagine him leading the charge in person.

The uncle of a missing Utah 5-year-old girl was charged with her murder Wednesday. At a news conference Wednesday, Logan Police Chief Gary Jensen told reporters that 21-year-old Alex Whipple had been charged with aggravated murder, child kidnapping, obstruction of justice and desecration of a human body. Elizabeth "Lizzy" Shelley was reported missing Saturday morning. Her body has not been found, but Jensen said investigators had evidence, including DNA, linking Whipple to the girl's murder. The desecration charge stems from alleged actions by Whipple to move, remove or conceal Lizzy's body. (Logan City Police) According to the chief, traces of...

The physics-heavy analyses of two databases....detected a point in time where a newly initiated earthquake transitions into a slip pulse where mechanical properties point to magnitude. Melgar and Hayes also were able to identify similar trends in European and Chinese databases. Their study was detailed in the May 29 issue of the online journal Science Advances. Overall, the databases contain data from more than 3,000 earthquakes. Consistent indicators of displacement acceleration that surface between 10-20 seconds into events were seen for 12 major earthquakes occurring in 2003-2016. GPS monitors exist along many land-based faults, including at ground locations near the...

Archbishop Viganò’s Stunning New Accusation Pope Francis’ umpteenth interview with a member of the media has reenergized the hurricane at the eye of which was Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò and his accusation, last year, that Pope Francis knew about the sexual crimes of “defrocked” ex-Cardinal McCarrick and yet rehabilitated him and sent him on key missions for the Vatican, lifting the travel restrictions imposed upon him during the reign of Benedict XVI.As LifeSiteNews reports, in this latest interview, after nearly a year of silence in the face of Viganò’s public accusation, on which he had refused to comment: “‘Pope Francis...

Remembering Henry Johnson, the Soldier Called “Black Death” Henry Johnson suffered 21 wounds and rescued a soldier while repelling an enemy raid in the Argonne Forest in 1918 but died 11 years later a forgotten man Henry Johnson and the Harlem Hellfighters in a parade up Fifth Avenue upon their return to New York in February, 1919. RUSH: Right now the formerly bulbous Jerry Nadler is doing a press conference. Ahem. He is chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. He’s reacting to Mueller, and I didn’t need to listen to this to know what Nadler’s saying. The Formerly Bulbous Jerry Nadler Confirms All of My Suspicions May 29, 2019 RUSH: Right now the formerly bulbous Jerry Nadler is doing a press conference. Ahem. Portland State University has rejected a course on "Conservative Political Thought" because it's apparently not inclusive enough. Professor Bruce Gilley offered to teach the course, which would have been part of a graduate curriculum at the Portland, Oregon, school. What are the details? Gilley — who previously taught the course on conservative political thought on a rotating basis — proposed the concept of the course for the Fall 2019 semester on a more permanent basis.

You might think they are disgusting. But our war against intestinal worms has damaged our immune systems and mental health. Did you ever wonder why one in six children has a mental health disorder? One in every six seems to be a few too many, I would think. Did you ever wonder why 20 per cent of women, in the United States at least, have been diagnosed with depression after menopause, and why ‘chronic fatigue syndrome’ has mysteriously emerged? Why should almost half of us be allergic to something? Why should more than four in every 10 children be on...

More than 230 undocumented immigrants detained near the Mexico border were transferred this month to jails near New York City as the federal government struggles to house a growing number of asylum-seeking migrants. An immigration official said the transfer of 235 immigrant detainees to ICE jails in Bergen, Hudson and Orange Counties appeared to be the first time the New York City area had received such a large number of border crossers. “ICE is committed to the health and safety of all those in its custody. In response to a surge in border arrivals that began late last year, ICE...

Sometimes if you fight hard enough and refuse to back down, no matter the odds, your truth is vindicated and prevails! For twenty years I have been labeled a conspiracy theorist, scaremonger, extremist, dangerous, nut case. I’ve been denied access to stages, major news programs, and awarded tin foil hats. All because I have worked to expose Agenda 21 and its policy of sustainable development as a danger to our property rights, economic system, and culture of freedom. From its inception in 1992 at the United Nation’s Earth Summit, 50,000 delegates, heads of state, diplomats and Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) hailed...

RUSH: So, I just checked the email during the break, and I got an interesting email from a listener, interestingly enough, out on the feces-strewn streets of San Francisco. It was, “Rush, you might be missing this. Isn’t it true, Rush, that the president probably would benefit from being impeached?” Meaning: Wouldn’t that revive and coalesce his base? “And isn’t that why the Democrats haven’t really done it, because they know that the public is opposed to it.” All the polling data shows the public is not in favor of impeachment, and additional polling data shows that most Americans want...
