The 29-year-old political spouse said there was a lot of judgement when he came out as gay to his family, claiming to remember one of his brothers uttering, “No brother of mine …” during the conversation with his mom and dad, both of whom are nominally Catholic and were, according to Rhyan, very accepting of Chasten’s orientation. “That was a long time ago, but that’s not what I would say. That’s not my character, that’s not my brother’s character,” Rhyan said. “Nobody ever rejected him at all. … I would say they embraced him even deeper.” Chasten also told the...

In her short time in Congress, freshman U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar has made a name for herself as a vehement anti-Semite. She infamously invoked age-old anti-Semitic tropes when she tweeted “It’s all about the Benjamins [$100 bills], baby,” accusing the pro-Israel organization AIPAC of donating to politicians in order to secure favorable treatment of the Jewish state. Omar is also an ardent supporter of the Hamas-funded Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel. Now it appears that despite her highly controversial record and short career in public service, schoolchildren in Minnesota are being taught to venerate the fledgling politician. John...

The NSA has asked its close security allies to prohibit the use of Huawei equipment in their 5G telecom networks. In a telling twist of fate, recently Vodafone revealed it found backdoors in Huawei equipment in Italy in 2011, now supposedly remediated. The U.K., a member of Five Eyes security alliance for sharing intelligence, has also said it would allow Huawei in some parts of its network. These are worrying developments. It is worth examining the risks the U.S. is worried about in simple, non-technical terms.

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem (Old Testament) 1 Kings 3 Solomon Asks for Wisdom 3 Solomon made an alliance with Pharaoh king of Egypt and married his daughter. He brought her to the City of David until he finished building his palace and the temple of the Lord, and the wall around Jerusalem. 2 The people, however, were still sacrificing at the high places, because a temple had not yet been built for the Name of the Lord. 3 Solomon showed his love for the Lord by walking according to the instructions given him by his father David, except that he...

On December 18, 2010, two female friends – one Christian and the other Jewish - were hiking together in the hills of Jerusalem when they were accosted by a pair of members from a Palestinian terror cell. Both women were bound and hacked with machetes until the Christian, Kristine Luken, was dead and the other seemingly so. But in an incredible display of a bottomless will to live, Kay Wilson – with thirteen machete wounds, a crushed sternum, multiple rib fractures, bone splinters in her lungs, a dislocated shoulder and broken shoulder blade – got up and walked over...

I owe my return to these pages to the pardon I have received from the President of the United States. When he called me, he referred to my ‘miraculously shrinking crime’ of 17 counts, to 13 (including racketeering), to four, to two; and to the quantum of my alleged transgressions from $400 million to $60 million, to $6 million, to $285,000 (which was approved by independent directors and published in the company’s filings). The president stressed that the White House counsel and his legal staff had analyzed the legal material and concurred that I received ‘a bad rap (and) an...

In 2014, during the Syrian civil war, ISIS occupied a site in the Syrian desert which once held a nuclear weapons facility. It reportedly had been built for the Syrians with North Korean help. If that reactor had been there, ISIS might have had a capability to inflict terrifyingly massive casualties. However, seven years earlier, in September 2007, Israel launched a secret air attack against this obscure site in the Syrian desert called Deir ez-Zoir. The reactor building was called al Kibar. Without that Israeli destruction of this Syrian-North Korean project, the world possibly would have had to deal with...

“Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; spoil not his resting place: For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief” (Proverbs 24:15-16).

Clifford Stump visited the VA Hospital Thursday morning in Dallas. He got there bright and early at 5:30 a.m. so that he could get a full checkup and a doctor's blessing to take a trip back in time. The 94-year-old World War II veteran served in the 82nd Airborne and fought in three major battles, including D-Day and the invasion of Normandy. He was a member of a crew in a glider that was towed and released behind enemy lines so he could deliver a cavalry cannon and the Jeep that would pull it into battle.

One of Huawei’s top executives has been accused of directing a scheme to steal trade secrets belonging to a US rival, as tensions with the Chinese company continued to grow. Eric Xu, a deputy chairman of the Chinese technology firm, allegedly directed an employee to visit the competitor in 2016 while posing as a potential client, The Wall Street Journal reported. “If you ever want to sleep with a blonde again, you had better shoot down these bastards as soon as they come up” - a destroyer captain motivates his exhausted crew shortly before a kamikaze attack. The sea-battle toll for Okinawa, which ended on June 21st 1945, was 36 U.S. warships sunk and 368 damaged. Almost 5,000 sailors were KIA and another 5,000 wounded. War naturally conjures images of brave infantrymen. Almost 200,000 soldiers and marines rest in cemeteries around the world. Too often forgotten are the Navy and merchant sailors felled at sea. It’s understandable; there are no battlefield...

North Korea on Friday said it will never resume nuclear talks with the U.S. unless the Trump administration modifies its position on unilateral demands for disarmament. A spokesman of the North's Foreign Ministry made the comments on Pyongyang's official Korean Central News Agency. He reportedly accused the U.S. of deliberately causing the collapse of February's nuclear summit in Hanoi between President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un with unilateral and impossible demands.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY, took to social media on Thursday during a tornado warning in Washington, D.C. and swiftly tried to connect it to climate change -- prompting one meteorologist to call her out for not knowing "the difference between weather and climate." The freshman congresswoman began by sharing a video on Instagram briefly showing the conditions outside, as heavy rains drenched the region and prompted a brief, and rare, tornado warning inside the Beltway. “There's people stuck outside. We need to get them out,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “This is crazy."

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) When real news intrudes on DC Kabuki Theater. – While most of the fake news media is focused on the back-and-forth childish insults between President Trump and San Fran Nan, actual important stuff just keeps happening. British Prime Minister Theresa May resigned overnight after making an utter disaster of Brexit planning. That’s kind of a big deal. Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, who styles himself as a journalist, was hit with 18 charges under the Espionage Act. Gosh, that probably raised the stress level of all the reporters in our fake national news...

Ariana Funes-Diaz's death at the hands of two MS-13 gang members could easily have been prevented. It wasn't an act of God or some freak accident. It wasn't even a random crime, the kind that inevitably occurs in a country as big as ours is. No, her death was the product of a deliberate policy. Our leadership class has decided to downplay the threat of MS-13. Why? Because Trump attacked MS-13. Therefore, in the demented zero-sum calculation of permanent Washington, MS-13 must be virtuous. The enemy of Donald Trump must be my friend. That's how they think. It all started...

Lorenzo Maggiore never graduated high school. "I moved to Oxnard and surfed for three years." His parents were concerned, so Maggiore went to trade school and learned to hang wallpaper....But he always had this idea to make a gun to kill flies. "It’s fun, and it’s ridiculous," Maggiore says. "I couldn’t let it go." [The first 40 seconds of his original sales video is LOL amazing - "Bug-A-Salt" - link to it in the main story, or in Comment #1]

On Sunday, I explained how Trump-like politicians are winning all over the globe. As if on cue, the results came in from Australia. It was a stunning upset win for Trump-like Prime Minister Scott Morrison. Australia's election matched America's 2016 balloting in every way. It is a warning for Democrats and anyone building a campaign around global warming, the Green New Deal, massive government regulation, higher taxes on "the rich" and open borders. Same issues. Same leftist media bias. Same results. Just like America in 2016, members of the leftist party (called the Labor Party in Australia) thought they had...

When House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler and Speaker Nancy Pelosi claimed that the United States had been plunged into a "constitutional crisis," a large swath of the media took to plying this fantasy for them. "Ever wonder what a constitutional crisis looks like? Well, open your eyes," CNN's Don Lemon explained to his viewers. "The president of the United States is just blowing right through our system of checks and balances, the very thing that is supposed to keep our Congress, the judiciary, and the executive branch working, which means our country working." None of this is remotely true....

The left destroys everything it touches -- or at least everything it gets control of. This was not necessarily true when leftists called themselves “liberals.†But now that traditional liberalism is passe, its place taken by “progressivism,†it is a foregone conclusion.I was reminded of this yet again when reading an article in The Nation titled “Want to Dismantle Capitalism? Abolish the Family.†It was an interview with Sophie A. Lewis, author of the book “Full Surrogacy Now: Feminism Against Family.â€What a grand repository of idiocy this is. Lewis calls herself a “repro-utopian.†Pregnancy, childbirth and mothering are unpaid work,...
