Conservative commentator and pro-life advocate Ben Shapiro said, in a recent podcast episode, that he’s stumped about why Democrats voted overwhelmingly against passage of the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.“I’ve literally been trying all night and this morning…I’ve been trying to find why exactly Democrats object to this bill,” he said. “What in the world does women’s health have to do with a baby that’s born alive?” he asked with regard to Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s tweet on the bill. “That’s fully crazy.”Shapiro’s focus is on how propaganda from abortion advocates doesn’t match up with reality. While this is important...

Oregon legislation to allow children to vote should bring to an end our first reaction to crazy ideas involving our elections -- namely laughter. It’s dangerous to laugh at proposals like child-voting when the advocates are deadly serious. Oregon Senator Shemia Fagan introduced legislation at a press conference to allow sixteen-year-olds to vote. She was flanked by teens wearing homemade T-shirts criticizing firearms. "Sixteen-year-olds are couch surfing with friends while their families are experiencing homelessness, and begging us to take action to protect their future and planet," Fagan said. As long as democracies have existed, and as long as...

Can you feel it in the air? We had the big vote yesterday and Democrats were united in voting to condemn hate in all its forms. As John Ekdahl pointed out, you can feel the change all around you: America feels better on the first full day without hate— John Ekdahl (@JohnEkdahl) March 8, 2019 Having solved the hate problem it’s hard to see what’s Democrats could do for an encore. Actually, that’s a good question. What will they do for an encore? I’m genuinely curious about what happens the next time Rep. Omar launches into a not-so-subtle attack...

Rep. Ilhan Omar, Minnesota Democrat, has an ally of a new stripe in the furor over her use of anti-Semitic tropes regarding Israel and its American supporters — David Duke. In a Thursday podcast at his site, the former Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard spoke out strongly in favor of the Muslim Congresswoman who has accused Jewish lawmakers of dual loyalty, attributed support for Israel to foreign money, and said Israel has “hypnotized” the world.

House Democrats voted Friday to defend localities that allow illegal immigrants to vote in their elections, turning back a GOP attempt to discourage the practice. The vote marks a stunning reversal from just six months ago, when the chamber — then under GOP control — voted to decry illegal immigrant voting.

In last year’s Midterm race for seats in the United States House of Representatives, Anti-GamerGate personality and Revolution 60 developer Brianna Wu ran as a Democratic candidate in the primary election for Massachuset’s 8th Congressional District. Despite her political inexperience, Wu garnered 22.9% of the district’s vote (16,878 votes out of a total of 73,582), but ultimately lost the election to her incumbent opponent, Stephen Lynch. As the 2020 United States House of Representatives elections rapidly approach, Wu has once again announced her candidacy, which will feature a heavy emphasis on government regulation concerning internet relations. On March 6th, Wu...

Just a week after Boeing unveiled their export-centric 'loyal wingman' combat drone concept, the Air Force Research Lab has announced that their own similar endeavor, dubbed the XQ-58A Valkyrie, has made its first flight. It also posted the very first image of the aircraft that has been developed under a veil of secrecy over the last two and half years. Beyond finally breaking cover as the USAF's 'attritable' unmanned combat air vehicle concept, the XQ-58A is really the first Air Force UCAV concept we have seen since all the momentum towards fielding any sort of this type of hugely promising...

Thursday on his nationally syndicated radio show, conservative talker Mark Levin hammered Democrats in the House of Representatives after the body passed a resolution condemning antisemitism. However, Levin criticized the resolution for not including condemnations of Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) in the resolution. “This resolution cobbled together by the Democrat Party leadership — which includes Jewish Americans — did not condemn Omar, Tlaib, Ocasio-Cortez,” he said. “It did not condemn antisemitism qua antisemitism. You know what it condemned? The American people. It condemned the American people as an antisemitic people, which we are...

The Trump administration has granted Temporary Protected Status holders from South Sudan an 18-month extension. Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen announced the extension on Friday, saying that she made the decision after reviewing conditions on the ground. "After carefully reviewing conditions in South Sudan with interagency partners, Secretary Nielsen determined the ongoing armed conflict and extraordinary and temporary conditions that support South Sudan’s current designation for TPS continue to exist," the Department of Homeland Security said in a statement. The extension allows the 84 TPS beneficiaries from South Sudan to reregister to remain in the country until Nov. 2, 2020....

Having grown up without any religion until attending a Lutheran high school, I had a secular view of the rhythm of the seasons. There was Christmas and New Year-hockey and basketball seasons. There was Easter-the start of baseball and track season. Summer was construction jobs, more baseball, beach, and beer. Fall was football. Interspaced through the seasons were family birthdays and national holidays, like the 4th of July and Thanksgiving. Even after becoming Lutheran, the rhythm of a religious life wasn’t always present. Only Christmas, a little Lent, Good Friday, Easter and Reformation Day were on my radar. But in...

Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib: Freshmen HatersAnd by “international” I mean Somalian and Palestinian. And by “women” I mean Ilhan Omar and Linda Sarsour, Islamic supremacist and anti-Semitic activist par excellence. They have eclipsed old white woman Nancy Pelosi as the face of Progressive women in America. When Pelosi folded on her initial House resolution to condemn Omar’s repeated anti-Semitic comments (without mentioning her by name of course) and instead proposed a non-controversial resolution against “bigotry” akin to mom, apple pie and the golden rule, she conceded power to this new block krewe. She essentially handed leadership...

As the Democrats Go Socialist, They Go Anti-Semitic Jew-hate and socialism have always gone hand in hand. March 8, 2019 Daniel Greenfield 103 comments at FrontPage Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism. "Every government having regard to good morals ought to repress the Jews," opined Pierre Leroux, the leftist credited with coining the term 'Socialism'. "When we speak of Jews, we mean the Jewish spirit, the spirit of profit, of lucre, of gain, the spirit of commerce." "What is the worldly religion...

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) trashed former President Barack Obama in a new profile of the freshman lawmaker, saying the "hope and change" he offered was a mirage and he was one of many predecessors to President Donald Trump to have "really bad policies." Omar was the subject of a Politico story on her and fellow Minnesota Rep. Dean Phillips (D., Minn.), who represents a neighboring district. The two are framed as symbolizing the colliding forces in the new Democratic House majority, with Omar representing the far-left flank and Phillips the more center-left sensibilities that helped recapture suburban districts from...

White-haired, suit-wearing Presbyterian lawyers don’t typically garner the fandom of teenagers, but Mr. Z did. Each week dozens of us would gather in his home. He would feed us and let us trash his house, watch movies, and play basketball. Each gathering would culminate in a Bible study... For a year I kept coming back. This unlikely mentor taught us Ephesians. Verse by verse, he explained this beautiful book to us. His love for the Bible was infectious, and I caught it. As I matured, I would always go back to Ephesians...But something stuck out to me that I never...

Detroit police are seeking charges against Allegheny County Controller Chelsa Wagner following an altercation early Wednesday in a Downtown hotel, according to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office. Assistant Prosecutor Marie Miller released a statement Friday saying the office is reviewing a warrant request from Detroit police. She said a decision on whether charges are warranted would likely come sometime after Friday. “The matter is currently being reviewed,” Miller said. “No further information will be released until a charging decision is made. A grieving Alabama father won an initial victory this week in a lawsuit challenging the abortion facility that aborted his unborn child. Ryan Magers is suing the Alabama Women’s Center in Huntsville after his girlfriend aborted their unborn baby there against his will. On Tuesday, Madison County Judge Frank Barger granted Magers’ petition to represent the estate of his child, “Baby Roe,” and, as a result, sue the abortion facility on behalf of his late child, according to Vice News. Attorney Brent Helms, who represents Magers, said the judge’s decision is an initial victory for their case. “This is the...

Minnesota congresswoman accused of violating immigration law Rep. Ilhan Omar, a Democrat from Minnesota, a Muslim and a newcomer to Congress, already is causing controversy, with a series of anti-Semitic comments, her defense of al-Qaida, her explosions at reporters and her alignment with an extreme left faction in the Democratic Party. She’s already the target of a petition demanding her resignation. Now, the Department of Homeland Security is being urged to investigate her and begin deportation or other removal proceedings. The petition was submitted to DHS by former Justice Department prosecutor Larry Klayman, who this week added a demand that...

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A woman who was arrested after an SUV was stolen Thursday from an Ace Rent a Car on Jacksonville's Northside told News4Jax "the demons took it." Gardinia McCullough, 23, appeared in court Friday morning on car theft charges, and her bond was set at just over $15,000. She was wearing a red jumpsuit, which indicates to guards in the jail that she needs extra attention, and she was not wearing a long-haired wig that she had on the night she was arrested. Police said employees of the rental car company found McCullough with the SUV less than...

On Friday a flock of giant breasts are floating down Amsterdam's canals for International Women's Day. This action is "to celebrate the fact that boobs are just boobs", organizer 72andSunny Amsterdam said in a press release. "Like the noses on our faces, they're simply part of the body, part of what makes us women." 72andSunny came up with the idea of giant floating breasts after a survey the agency performed among 160 women showed that the vast majority - 78 percent - of them had felt embarrassed by their boobs at some time in their lives. The creative agency finds...
